Optimal Health Chiropractic

All of the negative reviews are correct. I would not believe any of the positive reviews on here. On first impression Dr. Patrick is a nice guy but the longer you spend with him in the initial «consultation» the more you’ll begin to realize he’s just in it for the money. As mentioned you are charged $ 99 for a «consultation» and then told you have to come back to «review» everything. You come back and if you want any sort of adjustment it’s another $ 70. Unless of course you buy your 80+ sessions upfront and then it’s only $ 30.

As a certified Pilates instructor, I know the importance of taking care of my spine. I have been to several Chiropractors over the years and have tried all sorts of techniques such as Rolfing, ART, and Alphabiotics, just to name a few. Yoga and Pilates have been a constant in my life for the last 10 years and help to keep the me free from pain to a certain extent. There are times when I know I am out of alignment and I just need to be adjusted. Period.
My boyfriend sees Dr. Bennet, so I had been stopping in from time to time just waiting while he was being treated. I was really impressed with Dr. Bennet’s approach, very positive and sensitive to the mind/​body connection, so I decided to set up an examination for myself.
Dr. Bennet was very clear in explaining the findings of my X-​rays and set up a plan to get me to my optimal health. Here’s the best part: I have never felt so much relief from an adjustment in my life. He doesn’t over do it, is gentle but effective and I noticed immediate improvement in muscle tension, headaches and my general well being. He doesn’t just go in and do the same adjustment every time, like many of the chiropractors I have been to just –wham bam thank you ma’am. He is very attentive and treats exactly what I need. I even saw a huge change in my digestion, which is something that other chiropractors have claimed they could help with, but I had never seen results until now.
The office is clean and organized and I feel very comfortable and welcome. So glad I decided to take care of myself in this way!

This place is GREAT! I was hesitant at the idea of going to a chiropractor for years. I was experiencing hip and lower back pain about 7 months ago and a friend recommended Dr. Bennet. I have never felt better both physically and mentally since I have started seeing him regularly. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Love this place!

I saw Patrick years ago and fell out of habit. I came back because I was having numerous issues with pain that I was contributing to «getting older» After a couple of weeks I feel so much better again and feel I am on track to get my life back. Patrick cares immensely that you have the best, pain free life you can! I would recommend him to anyone who needs a tune up or just wants to improve their overall health.

The best chiropractor there is out there. I have been a model for 9 years. I have been all over the world and tried so many different chiropractors but Dr. Patrick is by far the best and most efficient one out there. He pin points the spot with the first try and relieves the pain instantly. He is the ONLY chiropractor that can adjust the jaw properly and that is sooo rare to find!!! He cares genuinely about his patients and I love his knowledge of homeopathic medicine. He is just the BEST HANDS DOWN no questions asked. The staff works with you and helps you to have the best experience possible. I am so thankful for his expertise in his field.

Dr. Bennet is a great Chiropractor, the best i have ever visited. His office has a nice friendly atmosphere and his rates are affordable. In just a few months of regular visits i have made significant progress with problems caused by Ankylosing Spondilitis.

I just came from Dr. Patricks office and felt compelled to leave a review. I walked in feeling pretty crappy and I left feeling pretty great. I have been seeing Dr. Patrick consistently for about 6 years, and I am so happy to have him as part of my health care team. I was introduced to chiropractic care 17 years ago when I was dealing with chronic constipation, and a loss of menstrual periods. Within a month of getting adjustments all systems were a go! I was a believer. I have worked with many chiropractors over the years, and each one was so incredibly committed to the craft. I feel blessed to have found Dr. Patrick, as he is extremely knowledgable and genuine in his care. He has seen me thru my pregnancy, several bouts of vertigo (which subsided after a single adjustment), and is our family’s go to when we have a cold and need our system in tip top shape. The staff is warm, and good vibes abound at the office. My Mom who lives out of state, and who has had several spinal surgeries also sees Patrick when she comes to visit. She says that after getting adjusted is the only time she can fully stand up straight. I can’t recommend him more highly.

Great staff and atmosphere, very positive. Dr. Bennett is great, the adjustments have really helped take away my lower back and neck pain. It took a while it’s not overnight, one needs to be patient. Highly recommend Optimal Health Chiropractic.

I absolutely love Optimal Health Chiropractic! Dr. Patrick has been a true lifesaver during the most challenging and intense period of my life. I love Dr Patrick and everything about Optimal Health Chiropractic. I found them through Dr Brandey two years ago and when she moved out of the area, I decided to try Dr Patrick as he always seemed so nice and Brandey recommended him. I am so glad I did! I have been seeing him now nearly twice every week since my baby was six weeks old. My son and I both receive adjustments and not only has this helped me to heal from a challenging pregnancy and delivery, as well as deal with being a new mom, but I totally believe my son is the healthy boy he is in huge part because of pediatric chiro care. I trust the Bennetts and staff completely and cannot recommend them enough. So supportive, loving, compassionate and willing to go above and beyond for me and my family. Bless you all!!!

My opinion on Optimal Health Chiropractic has changed greatly since I first set foot in there in the beginning of the summer.
I am particularly squeamish and have never liked the sound of joints cracking or the thought of my neck being twisted in odd and uncomfortable ways. Truthfully, I never would have tried it.
Dr. Patrick and I were reminiscing the other day about how I looked absolutely horrified as I watched my brother got treated. To me it looked painful and dangerous. However, then my mom signed the whole family up to be treated.
I wish I had known that I had nothing to be scared of because Dr. Patrick can get the same results by using different methods that don’t involve a cracking sound. I came to find that the treatments are never uncomfortable or painful and believe that they actually work. Before getting treated both my brother and mom and bad hunched backs. Now after just months of treatment, stand up straighter and look sturdier. I, in turn, never knew what I was missing until I came here. My neck and back feel better than I could have ever imagined and there is no cracking of the neck to scare me.
I have been reading a few reviews on here saying that the people are so rude and blah blah blah. Wrong. The receptionist is the sweetest ever! She is incredibly helpful, patient, and friendly. She always has a smile on her face and is very welcoming. Dr. Patrick himself is awesome. He is also very welcoming and makes you feel very comfortable when you are there. He is your doctor and your friend. He is completely understanding of each patients needs, and tries his best to help in what ever way he can.
There are a few reviews on here saying that the office itself is dingy and dirty. Again I say wrong. Yes, the office is small but it has a super cozy and comfortable feel to it. the music there is awesome. I always feel like breaking down and dancing in there and I usually do. Some of the people who reviewed seem to have gone at the wrong time to give it such a poor review. Usually when you go in its very relaxed, there’s only a few people there, and you don’t have to wait long at all. Heck, I’ve been some days where it’s only me, my brother and Dr. Patrick. However, just like all doctors offices, it gets busy sometimes. Sometimes you do have to wait a little bit but if you’re patient it will be fine.
Overall I gave Optimal Health 5 Stars because between the people, the place and the treatment, it really is great. I love it all. It really helps you start your day and activate your energy as Dr. Patrick always says!

MY FAMILY AND I LOVE OPTIMAL HEALTH CHIROPRACTIC!
A lot of things have changed at Optimal Health Chiropractic since I first started visiting in late 2010. The office had a major remodel, and installed several state of the art patient care stations. I have a feeling that the few bad reviews below were from people who could not afford chiropractic care due to insurance, don’t understand the role of chiropractic in health care, or they seemed to catch the office during their transitions and office upgrades. Optimal Health Chiropractic has cared for me and my family for over 2 years now and we all enjoy going to the office for our adjustments. As I get older I find my body does not seem to hold up as well as it used to, and having regular visits to Dr Patrick (and in the past Dr Brandey) helps me, and my family, tremendously. From helping me get rid of low back pain, to reminding me not to slouch at my computer, to helping my neck that seems to get kinked when my 2yr old sleeps across my pillow, they are always professional and friendly.
We love the family atmosphere and recommend their services to everyone we know. My wife is a pediatrician and she has great insurance. Dr Patrick will be helping her with all the body changes that come throughout her second pregnancy. He has a special table that is designed for people with a baby in their belly or who need to have a little extra room down there. Dr. Patrick even made my 2 year old daughter comfortable with the transition from seeing Dr Brandey to seeing him easy and smooth. Dr Patrick cares deeply for all of his patients and strikes me as the type of businessman that knows the value of his services and knows the value of his patients. I am certain that if you have a complaint he will do his best to accommodate your needs if your needs are reasonable. He has a very busy practice, which only proves how well revered he is in the community and how good he is at what he does. Even though he is so busy he still takes the time to do his adjustments thoroughly and completely for each patient. He cares about your health and puts together programs of care and even hosts classes and summertime movies at his office. As for his «holistic» side??? It works to create a healthy life balance and it also produces a calming effect to his office. I enjoy hearing his opinions and share in many of his beliefs.

This place is absolutely wonderful! I feel at ease whenever I’m around, and the results of my adjustments from Dr. Patrick Bennett have made my life do a 180. I go in feeling really sore from my week, and after i leave it feels as if i’m a new man every time! I live in Reseda, which isn’t exactly close to Studio City, but the results of my treatments have made the extra commute more than worth it! Also the receptionist of this place is awesome and is always super duper helpful, 2 thumbs up!

Dr. Bennett and Dr. Brandey are wonderful! I have only been coming here for a month and I already am feeling much better. I came in with my Aunt for her adjustment and saw the relaxing and beautiful office. The adjustment was quick and the staff were all very friendly. My Aunt had been telling me for a while how much Dr. Bennett had helped improve her overall health including her asthma. I have had asthma my whole life and had tried almost everything. Plus, I was tired of taking so many medications. I chose to get a consultation myself and was not disappointed. It feels so great to be actually fixing the problem rather than putting a band-​aid on the symptoms with expensive meds. I highly recommend Optimal Health Chiropractic!

Terrible costumer service
Made me wait 2 hrs
Then made me look at a dumb video, then ice was put on my neck for, which seemed like forever…
Before my service, and still hadn’t seen the dr, I was inundated with packages and payment plans
2 ½ hrs later I saw Dr Bennett for 5 minutes
I know he has 4 kids, but please don’t make it obvious you need the money. You were rushed and it showed, for that I felt my service was terrible and I payed way too much. Slow down…

Dr. Bennet has provided my son and I with the best care. I have traveled and been to many alternative health professionals. I went to him with a chronic problem and was always treated with compassion and consistent quality care. I am back feeling great!

I suffered from an injury at work and was going back and forth to physical therapy and taking pain killers on a daily basis. I would feel god for a few days then suffer from pain that kept me from getting out of the bed. After just a few months going to Dr. Bennett I started to feel like I was actually healing. He takes time to get to know his patients and provide the best service. I threw away those medications and have been able to start healing. The front desk staff are very friendly and very accommodating. I would recommend him to anyone from age 1 — 100+.
