Great pupusas, so far as good as it gets in the valley area. Parking is a little crowded but there’s plenty street parking.

I have been craving Pupusas for two days now and I’ve recently crashed my car so I’ve been carless FINALLY I had the opportunity to get a ride to this place! I ordered the pork & cheese Pupusas and they were GREAT !! I love the authenticity of this place ! It’s for sure a hole in a wall but overall I’m super happy considering I’ve been craving Pupusas for days and it was everything I wanted it to be !! I will definitely be back !

Really good food, loved the fried bananas(plantanos) and even the coffee was good. Very nice hole in the wall, has that kind of atmosphere. Parking is terrible but other than that, would be a happy to come back!

This place beats Flor de Izote by far! We were tired of the horrible service at Flor de Izote but LOVE pupusas, we found Restaurante Y Pupuserial El Manguito on Unilocal and LOVEDIT! Its a small restaurant so if you have a big party to feed, I would suggest to order and take home. The service was a little slow, but worth the wait! We had 4 pupusas, empanadas, tamale and a side of rice which all came out at the same time, fresh and hot! The prices are GREAT! Real good authentic Salvadorian food!

Excellent pupusas at a reasonable price. Did not enjoy the refried pinto beans though. But nevertheless, 5 stars.

I finally found my pupusas spot in the Valley! I had a spinach-cheese & jalapeño-cheese and it was delicious. Not soaked in grease like most places. And then some plantains for dessert. There was only one older lady working when i was there; she was taking orders and cooking but it was worth the wait. Love this mom & pops place.

So I was in the mood for some pupusas and was too lazy to drive to Sun Valley for my usual spot so searched good Olé Unilocal to find a spot closer to home. Unilocal lead me to this place. I figure it has 8 reviews and 5 stars so what the heck, it’s right around the corner. I call at 7:35 pm and ordered 4 pupusas revueltas since their menu says they are $ 1.00, 2 cheese ones, an order of yucca frita with chicharron and an horchata. They said 20 min so I said cool. Couldn’t wait, I was actually excited for pupusas, I know fatty! So I get there about 8:05pm, 2 people were in there eating and some small kids were walking in and out of the kitchen. Cute kids. I receive my order and ask them to add another horchata and a Jarritos. So as you can see I’m purchasing quite a few items. The total was $ 22 something so I’m like ok, I do have lots of food. Then I start asking how much each item is and the host says Oh, did you order the small pupusas or the big ones? I was like wtf? What are you talking about? She said only the small pupusas are $ 1. I asked her how am I supposed to know you have to sizes? No one asked me when I ordered them… the sign in the front by the cashier does not indicate different sizes? She goes to the kitchen consults with someone and comes back and tells me if I want to wait until they go back and make the small ones or just purchase the big ones. I was upset. .seriously? It wasn’t my fault that they did not ask me what size pupusas I wanted. Here I am hungry, my yucca is getting cold and they want me to wait because of their mistake? I decided to walk out and did not purchase anything. They rather lose out on a sale due to their mistake for $ 4.00? Instead of having a repeat happy customer, they rather lose out on a whole sale! I could understand if that was all I was purchasing but I was not. They were making money off the other items I ordered. Anyways not going back! Customer service is a must especially with a new business. Next time I will just go to my usual pupusas spot in Sun Valley.

If Im ever craving pupusas this is where I come. I haven’t been disappointed yet. The price is fair. The pupusas are not too big or small. I wouldn’t recommend the breakfast is nothing out of the ordinary, unless you’re ordering fried plantains. It’s a small hole in the wall.

This is the only place that I’ve tried a Pupusa at and I LOVEIT! I work near by and order it from time to time, I haven’t tried anything else on the menu but I’m sure it’ll be just as good as the Pupusas! the staff is really nice and friendly and I love the cabbage salad they give with the Pupusas.

This is our go to pupusa place. Can’t ask for anything more, great place, great service, and really great food. My usual is pupusas revueltas(pork, beans, cheese), glass bottled coke and for postre(dessert) empanandas de platano con Leche(empanandas made with banana and filled with sweet milk.)

This place used to be a Mexican/Salvadorian restaurant back in the day. However, now its fully Salvadorian. If you are looking for a great bite, this is the place. Las pupusas de queso con loroco are fabulous. The breakfast specials are great too; just like mom used to make. Oh yes, la ensalada is amazing and tasty. Overall, even though this place is small, they have great traditional food. Great friendly service. Definitely going back and definitely recommend it.
