I do not offer dry-​cleaning services.

PRICING:

Each piece I work on is unique. Therefore, I cannot give you pricing until I see what it is that I will be altering or creating for you. Costs for alterations or creating an outfit depends upon fabric, if the item is lined, the design, the size, etc. Drafting patterns an extra charge, and it includes the cost of the muslin and my labor.

Mari does great work and makes the whole process very easy. I only had to hem and repair a couple pairs of jeans, but the quality was top notch and looks great! Her price was great and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone who needs some tailoring done.
Be sure to call ahead and work out a time with her. Mari is great!

OK … I admit it, I debated about writing this review, but I found Mary via Unilocal so I owe the «community» to let you know that she’s the REAL DEAL. I found a dress I loved but didn’t come in my size. Not only did she recreate the dress based on the photo at a reasonable price, but … dumb me … I was all set to go to the VERY expensive fabric shops in mid-​Wilshire and she directed me to specific shops in downtown. (I had gone there to check out fabrics pre-​Mary and was overwhelmed by the number of places …) Now I have a LOVELY dress and actually will be making another shortly. Just a heads-​up … because so many of us have found her, she’s busy. So allow for a reasonable time and know once she gets started on your dress, that she works fast!

Mari is absolutely wonderful.
I recently bought a dress that I absolutely loved, but after the first wear the zipper broke. I called Mari and asked her how much it would be to fix the zipper or change the back to a corset. She said the zipper change would be $ 15. Corset back would be $ 30. I brought her the dress and after evaluating it together we decided the corset back would be best.
She had an emergency and had to leave. She said the dress would be done in a few days. I was completely surprised when it was finished in 2 days.
The dress is amazing. The corset back was perfect. I can easily get in and out of the dress. She used stretchy material so there wouldn’t be another break.

Mari is a talented, friendly, efficient seamstress. Altering a pair of pants for me was way below her level of expertise, but she did so perfectly and overnight. Don’t suffer through ill-​fitting clothes — go to Mari and get them fitting just right! Her prices are very reasonable, she’s quick, and conveniently located.

I needed a coat’s sleeves lengthened and took it to Mari who I found on Unilocal with great reviews. She was nice and responded quickly to my emails. I took the coat to her and she had it read for pick up really quickly which was great. Unfortunately the greatness ended there, I picked up the coat and headed to work. When I inspected it, I noticed the cuffs were uneven, the stitching was loose with gaps throughout and the material that she used on the inside of the sleeve was not coat lining material. It kind of looked like gauze. I was disappointed because this coat is a gift for my wife and now I can’t give it to her until I have it professionally fixed. I wouldn’t recommend her service!

Amazing workmanship! Mari is a miracle and lifesaver. She fixed quite a few of my delicate vintage pieces. I have never been let down by her. I have full confidence in her work. She has helped me redesign quite a few antique/​vintage pieces that would otherwise never have been salvageable. I cannot express how much appreciation and aw I have for her. Love this company!

Great job! I took her a couple of pieces that needed some work and they turned out great. She was even more than happy to make an adjustment to the lining on one skirt. Supper friendly, super fast and for me, super close. I will be using her in the future!

Absolutely top-​notch alterations. Mary is excellent, has reasonable prices, and always makes sure I’m happy with the results. She has made costumes for my kids and I, custom clothing and alterations for us for over 30 years. For custom clothing, all I have to do is show her a picture of what I want and she makes it for me. She listens to all of my requests and implements them perfectly. I highly recommend her without any reservations and know that she does a superb job every time.

Mari is the absolute best. I had ordered a wedding dress that I loved, but that was way too big for me. She assessed the dress and basically made me an entire new dress that was more beautiful out of the same fabric. She worked quickly and was always reliable. She fitted me a few times until she was confident that it would be perfect. And it was perfect. My dress looked amazing. I was so happy and grateful for her excellent work. I highly recommend her to anyone!
