Amazing service. Needed a stage built for a music act, in the canyon, for next-​day setup. Studio 116 accommodated our every need and were incredibly helpful. Tyler and Philippe made sure we had everything we needed, very reliable and great price.

Very professional! I received my quote within minutes and was able to do everything via computer. My husband was able to pick up the items and return them next business day with no hassle. Spoke to Tyler. He understood what I needed right away which was to rent a lavalier mic (I am not tech savvy but he deciphered what I needed and advised about added items), gave me the quote in a minute, knowledgeable and we did the transaction in just a few minutes. I had been on the phone with another company and was on hold for ages, passed to different departments «oh that is not my department let me transfer you» until I finally hung up. Another was quoting to sell me items rather than rentals as they didn’t listen to what I asked for. This company is great.

We used Studio 116 for the first time for our company summer party on ⁸⁄₂₁. Tyler was great to work with during the quoting process, helping me find the right lighting package for the scale of our event, and at an affordable price. I really appreciated that he didn’t try to push anything extra on me.
Scott was our technician the day of our event and was prompt and extremely helpful. This was my first time setting up lighting for an event, and Scott was great with his recommendations on where to place everything and ideal colors for the venue and atmosphere. Afterwards he gave me a simple walk through on how to use everything.
Great customer service from start to finish, prompt delivery and pick up, and great products. I will definitely be using Studio 116 for any future events, and will happily recommend them to anyone planning an event of their own.

They did the lighting for my wedding. Cody was great in the process of getting a quote and working within our budget. He gave us advice and was very helpful designing the light concept to what we needed. Before the wedding they went and inspected the venue to ensure they had everything under control for the day. The day of the wedding they installed the lights as requested and all looked beautiful and efficient. Very happy with the result. I highly recommend them.

We’ve used Studio 116 for several of our events, all around Southern California. Last minute or way in advance they are always awesome to work with. The last event we had, the tech stayed and smoothed out every little wrinkle or distortion I could possibly find, to make sure the step & repeat was absolutely flawless for our event. He didn’t complain one bit, he kept saying– «what else can you find? Let’s fix it.» Which I definitely appreciated! Highly recommend them.

Used them recently for a red carpet order and setup. They were on time, very helpful, and the carpet looked great. When the event was over, they came and broke it down, packed up, and left right as the event was ending. Can’t really ask much more than that. And they were less expensive than other options we researched in the LA Area.

I had an extremely last minute need for Mic, Podium and Speaker, I called the company we normally use (Audio Visual LA) and they were fully booked. I was calling at 4:30pm for the NEXT day!!! They told me to call Studio 116 and they were able to help!!! The service was great. They were extremely busy that day as well but were able to add our order in and come out to set everything up!!! We really appreciate the last minute hard work!!! We’ll be back for sure!

After having dealt with a nightmare company for an event two days away, I stumbled upon Studio 116’s website and sent an email. Within minutes, I received a response from Scott who assured me they had everything in our order (2 lights and a small red carpet), for a price that was exactly what we needed it to be! Within the next hour, our order was final, and my pick-​up time was scheduled (this truly gave me a piece of mind that was priceless).
My supervisor went to pick everything up, and when she arrived at our event venue, she raved about the customer service. She was walked through set-​up, and we were given ample time to return everything.
Customer service and efficiency are two things that are extremely rare these days, and Studio 116 went above and beyond in both of them. Studio 116 will be a company we will DEFINITELY use in the future.

Let me just say AMAZING! Studio 116 brought my vision to life in a way that I didn’t even imagine :-). I am extremely pleased with the service and product I received. The staff Scott, Cody and Neil provided me with EXCELLENT customer service from beginning to end. My guests were very impressed with the Step & Repeat and my blue carpet treatment. My kids felt like the celebrities I envisioned for them to be for their prom. This was truly a Night To Shine! Thank you all very much, and I definitely will refer you; not to mention I will also be a repeat customer!!!

Scott was excellent taking my order and suggesting just the right equipment for our Dive In Movie Night Première. Collin expertly installed it and it was all gone the next day without a hitch. Highly professional, reasonably priced, and all on-​time!!!

Our usual DJ moved out of the area, so we were stuck for entertainment options for my daughter’s birthday party. Found Studio 116 online and emailed them explaining our needs for sound equipment. Communication was great and I was able to take of everything by email. The guy from Studio 116 was professional and friendly. He delivered the equipment, set it up, showed us how to us it, then came the next day and took it down. We were very pleases with Studio 116’s equipment and service.

I just used Studio 116 for my wedding and I had really mixed/​bad feelings about how they left the wedding/​discussion afterwards.
I ordered uplights from Studio 116 at a great price and was really psyched about the customer service. They set up the lights on time and that was nice and easy.
HOWEVER, the color was NOT what i asked for. I sent them pictures several times (the same one) of which color I wanted. They said they could do it and that they were all set to go. I emailed them 2x before the wedding just to check in with the picture. Again… they said it was good to go.
When I saw the lights at the reception, I was LIVID. It was NO WHERE NEAR the color they were supposed to be and it really overshadowed all the decorations I had and the pictures. This ugly color is all you see in all my wedding pictures.
When I emailed to ask about what happened, Johnny had the nerve to blame my wedding coordinator and my DAD! uh… they don’t have anything to do with it. My dad would have had NO IDEA what color I wanted since he wasn’t involved in my conversation with Studio 116. They asked him if the wedding went well and he said Yes. DUH. It had nothing to do with the light color/​shade that he knew nothing about.
As for my coordinator, I trusted Studio 116 so much that I didn’t tell her EXACTLY what shade the lights had to be. I checked with Johnny several times and he assured me the color in the picture was what they would bring. When I complained that the color was wrong, he said it was my wedding coordinator’s fault for not double checking. This was NOT her fault that Studio 116 didn’t bring the correct color gel.
NO WAY. I trusted this company to provide a service that I paid for months in advance. I communicated with them several times after the payment with the picture of the color lights I wanted and they assured me this was all good to go. It is not my dad’s or the wedding coordinator’s responsibility to make sure they do their job well.
This company was really disappointing and I wouldn’t recommend using them unless you can 100% verify you’re getting the color and service you wanted. Even through email, there was no resolution from Johnny except to blame my dad/​coordinator. Then in his email back to me, he said they only had 2 gel colors in pink and this was the lightest color they had. Had he explained that to me 6 months ago, I would have chosen another shade or decided not to go with the company. I felt really tricked that they promised me a color but then told me afterwards that they didn’t have it.
I was REALLY sad about the wedding uplight colors, my reception and the way that it all turned out. This was supposed to be the best night of my life, but now I permanently have the ugliest uplight color in the background of all of my photos.
The service was great over email, but it doesn’t make up for the disappointing results and service after my wedding.
I would recommend using another company for sure. Your wedding only happens once, and this was the worst experience ever. There was no real apology except for the one that came in the same email as the one where they blamed us as well.
Please take the $ 600+ and go with a company that actually delivers great service.

These guys genuinely almost ruined our wedding. Seriously think twice about using. They also have figured out a way to remove my comments from two years ago that were fact based.

Recently ordered the ipod package and the package with a projector and screen for my wedding (for several slideshows/​videos). Johnny helped book my reservation and throughout the whole process he was incredibly helpful and friendly (thanks Johnny!!)
I was not able to be at the venue when they were setting up the sound equipment and projector/​screen (as I was busy getting married at the moment) but when we got to the reception, everything was ready and setup and they were incredibly effecient. Then after it was all over we didn’t have to do anything. they just came and took it all down.
Extremely easy to work with and their equipment was top notch! If I ever need sound rental equipment in the future, I know who to turn to.

My now husband and I decided 2 months prior to our wedding date that we wanted lighting at our wedding for post celebratory dancing. Typically stuff like this should be booked waaaaaaaay in advance, but they worked really well to accomodate our needs that were semi-​last minute. Their customer service was excellent and they were always on top of things.
I believe for lighting and a screen rental for the whole night the total was less than 200. Their website lists different packages that you can choose from and it’s really affordable. If I didn’t know someone to hook sound and stuff up I would have rented from them.
On the day of the wedding, they showed up on time and set everything up. The only negative was that they forgot the screen. However, the guy they sent out was incredibly apologetic and brought it within an hour or so just before the banquet started. Hence, minus one star. =(
The company is it Tujunga (wherever that is) and my banquet was in Cerritos and despite the distance, they still delivered at no cost… even for such a small order! They also was at the venue at the end of the night to pick up the equipment.
They have different packages like an ipod dj package, lighting, video, projector, sound, etc.
Their website is pretty detailed in what they offer. But even if they don’t have something that you specifically want or the combination of equipment that you want, you can always ask.
Overall a very very positive experience.
