Always love working with Truly Yours Catering. As a planner it is important to have a great team on your side and work in partnership in creating super events for our couples. Nicole and Rob do just that. I always look forward to seeing them.

Truly Yours Catering is fantastic. Mr. Chris Adlesh, and Tracy were awesome to work with, as they were so accommodating, and helped my husband and I plan our wedding in such a short amount of time. We got married at The Wilshire Loft (second wedding ever at the venue). They finished the venue right before our wedding, and everything was perfect. The service was fantastic, the food was phenomenal, and the venue is stunning. The food was so good, even my boss, the Executive Chef at the Four Seasons’s plate was spotless. All 150 of our guests raved about our wedding being absolutely perfect. Our wedding was very memorable, and we couldn’t have pulled it off without Tracy and Mr. Adlesh. Thank you!

Truly Yours was amazing for our wedding! For a reasonable price, we got delicious food on top of event staff, bar tenders, tables, chairs, glasses, and linens. They were familiar with our venue and helped to make our dream wedding come to life. I would recommend Truly Yours to anyone planning a wedding in Los Angeles.

I got married on 10÷17÷15 at Malibou Lake and used Truly Yours since they were the preferred vendor. They were great! The staff was fantastic! The manager, Taylor, was an absolute doll! she kept coming up to me and asking if I needed anything and made sure everything was in top notch order. I couldn’t have been happier!
The reason for the 4 star rating instead of a 5 was because of the coordinator Laura from Truly Yours. Everything had gone smoothly with her until the day prior to the wedding. The friday before we had our rehearsal scheduled (¹⁰⁄₁₆) and she was an hour late. When I had called her about it, she gave me 3 different reasons: she thought our rehearsal was on Thursday (I never received a call about it on Thursday), then she stated she thought we weren’t gonna do a rehearsal till the morning of the wedding and then she finally said she forgot to write it down. Now, don’t get me wrong, I am a very easy going person and if she would have just been straight up with me I would have been totally understanding — but as the bride, a couple days prior, I was a bit stressed out with her disorganization. Anyway, the day of the wedding approaches and while my bridesmaids and I are setting the venue up, Laura is having multiple group walk throughs — which I felt could have been scheduled on a different day. Then, the wrong colored table cloths were put on all of the tables, which we had discussed at our final meeting a month prior. Thankfully, the staff had brought extras just in case! whew! Finally, the ceremony was scheduled to start at 4 pm and when we started to line up, Laura had stated she had it written down for 4:30. Ugh!
Overall, the food was great and the catering staff was very pleasant! And again, I cannot praise enough with how fantastic Taylor was! She managed to turn my frustration for Laura’s mess ups back to «what mess ups!!!» So, for future I would definitely recommend them! =)

My husband and I got married at the Malibou Lake Mountain Club in Agoura Hills, where Truly Yours is the designated caterer (although their office where they do the tastings is in North Hollywood). We couldn’t have been more happy with the food AND the service on our wedding night. Taylor took care of us that evening and she was super attentive without being overbearing. We corresponded with Laura, the site manager, leading up to the wedding and she was always very helpful. And most importantly, we got so many compliments from our guests on the food! Everything was incredibly delicious, down to the salads — I just wish I’d gotten to eat more of it that day! I would recommend them to anyone in Los Angeles who needs a caterer!

Truly Yours is wonderful! They made wedding planning and our actual wedding day so stress free. I love Tracy! She was so helpful and always responded back quickly. We received tons of compliments on the food (especially the tomato bisque & grilled cheese sandwiches and the tenderloin wrapped in bacon). They provided everything we needed at a reasonable price and practically coordinated most of the wedding. I will choose them again for any future parties.

Truly Yours Catering is fantastic! My sister got married this past weekend on 10÷10÷15 and worked with Tracy and the Truly Yours Catering team to cater her gorgeous wedding at the Oviatt Penthouse in Downtown LA.
My sister was please with the food tastings before the wedding, which Tracy was very accommodating with. In the end, an amazing series of appetizers and dishes were chosen and everything came out great.
The appetizers included mini cheeseburger sliders with pretzel buns (soooo good), bruschetta (to die for), crab cakes and shrimp on skewers (both with their respective dipping sauces). I mean, I was full after the appetizers alone.
Then it came time for dinner and everything was delicious! They started with a caprese salad which was served at our tables. It was then followed by a buffet style meal that consisted of a choice of chicken or beef (both cooked to perfection), a medley of vegetables, and mashed potatoes which where out of this world amazing!
I was definitely pleased with everything, as was my sister. I would highly recommend Truly Yours Catering to anyone catering an event.

Thank you to Truly Yours catering! My experience was such a positive one! Working with Tracy through the process from menu selection, food tastings, linen and tableware, final execution, etc was great. Tracy was always so helpful and quick to respond to phone calls and emails. Although the van carrying the food got a flat on the way to my wedding, things went smoothly. Also, there was a minor glitch in plastic versus glassware for the bar, but this was quickly rectified after the fact. The food tasted great, was beautifully served and my wedding guests had nothing but positive comments to say! Our bartender was awesome as well. Thank you for helping to make my wedding dream come true! I would definitely recommend Truly Yours to anyone looking for a wedding caterer! They are affordable, professional and offer so much more than just catering service!

We had our wedding on 9÷6÷2015 and truly yours catered our food. From the tasting all the way to the day of everything was amazing.
The food and service were great. Tracy was so amazing to work with. I highly recommend them; they are the best.

I just worked an event with Yours Truly at the Oviatt Penthouse where I was the Wedding Coordinator. Rob was in charge that night and it was a pleasure working with him, Nicole, and their staff. I highly recommend Yours Truly, whether your event is at the Oviatt or at a different venue. I have a co-​worker who hired Yours Truly for her wedding at the Maxwell House in Pasadena and she also has nothing but great things to say about them. Guests really enjoyed the food! I hope I get to work with them again.

TYC was just amazing! TYC catered for us at Malibou Lake Mountain Club. The staff was so attentive and checking in with us constantly, which was so refreshing. Theyd make us laugh too! EVERYONE raved about the appetizers and food. The beautiful touch at the end was the cookies and chocolate covered strawberries! They packed our cakes and even a meal for my Husband and I as we left!

My background is in procurement, so selecting high quality vendors for our wedding day was extremely important to me. I researched nearly a dozen different caterers in the process. My top criteria were: great quality food, professionalism, flexibility and high value. I found a number of vendors that met the first two criteria, but only Truly Yours met the level of flexibility I was requesting with very high value. I am also appreciative that Truly Yours has transparent pricing (pricing per person that includes rental of tables/​chairs/​linens/​dishes/​etc).
We had a backyard wedding with about 160 adults, so there were a number of factors that were different than traditional wedding venues. For one, we wanted the party to go on as long as it lasted, without interruption from service providers who were scheduled to leave around 10pm (it lasted till 4am!). Tracy was a great communicator throughout the days and months leading up to the wedding and she was willing to accommodate our requests (picking up the tablecloths/​chairs/​tables the following day, packing the extra food, etc).
I am especially thankful for the amazing staff (Chris & team) who joined us that day. Everything went so smoothly! I was really worried when it was cold and raining a couple hours before the wedding, but Chris reassured me that everything would be fine. His team worked diligently to dry off the chairs and get the table linens spread after the rain. The sun came out perfectly in time for the ceremony and the weather became perfect. In the end, our wedding was everything I’d hoped it would be (and so much more!). Truly Yours provided tremendous support in pulling off such an incredible event. We also had a lot of guests tell us how delicious the food was. Everything I tasted was delicious, but I especially loved the samosas and the salmon with mango salsa. Also, Truly Yours catered my brother’s wedding (a few weeks after mine) and they were phenomenal again!

TYC catered our wedding on 5.2.15, and they were FABULOUS. I didn’t have to worry about anything. Everyone was great… the servers, the bartenders, and Chris and Tracy were a pleasure to work with. I am gluten-​free (and had quite a few gluten-​free guests attending), and Chris was very accommodating. The entire menu was prepared gluten-​free. The food was delicious… for appetizers we had mini grilled cheese (gluten-​free!) with a tomato soup shooter, bacon wrapped shrimp, prosciutto wrapped melon with a balsamic glaze, and an eggplant remoulade. For dinner we had a carving station for the meat, chicken with a white wine artichoke sauce, and a veggie penne pasta. We had so many guests raving about the food!
I did have a day-​of coordinator, which I believe is a necessity. Even though Truly Yours does provide a great staff, they are not wedding coordinators, and aren’t responsible for making sure the ceremony runs smoothly, setting up all the extra décor, ect. All in all, Truly Yours was awesome, and I would recommend them to any bride and groom!

Truly Yours catered my wedding last week and did a fabulous job! Everything was perfect and the staff was amazing. I didn’t have to worry about anything. The bartender even created a drink in my honor and it was a big hit!!! Thank you, Chris, the food was excellent :) If you are getting married at Rancho del Cielo, I highly encourage you to hire Truly Yours!

My fiancé and I are getting married at the Adamson House in Malibu ca. Truly yours is on the list as one of the preferred vendors. About three weeks ago we did a tasting with Tracy. Which turned out to be absolutely amazing the food was extremely good and her service was amazing. Tracy spent so much time with us and she really knows the venue. If you have a wedding or any kind of event that requires catering do yourself a favor and call truly yours.

TYC hosted our wedding at The Oviatt Penthouse on 12.13.14 and we really appreciate their hard work! Nicole was our site coordinator and she was such a pleasure to work with. She was very attentive leading up to the date and very accommodating! She made accommodations for last minute guests, special requests such as napkin bows and blackberries in our champagne for toasts. She worked with us on our timeline and had that available for us.
We opted to serve a 5 Mustard Salmon (which everyone raved about and loved), Stuffed Chicken with Herbed Chevre (which people felt was a bit dry and dense), 5 Cheese Tortellini (my personal fave!), Mashed Potatoes, and Grilled Zucchini and Squash (another request Nicole and TYC delivered on), and a Baby Green Salad with Candied Walnuts, Feta, and Raspberry Dressing (love!). The heat lamps and terrace décor were phenomenal as it had been recent updated!
Most of everything provided by the catering company to our guests and for our guests were great! It was more ‘behind the scenes’ stuff where I felt TYC fell short and there may be good explanations for it but as meticulous, yet easy going, as I am I had to mention them.
— Napkins were requested to be placed in a bow with our napkin ring and there was only one table that didn’t have it (Table #2) which was the Groom’s immediate family table. It looked beautiful for the tables that did have it but one of the most important tables did not have it. I had made 100 pcs and there were only 80 guest so shortage was not a factor.
–The tables were originally set up with 1 – 5 on one side and then 6 – 10 on the other. We had to tell them to stagger it as we had told Nicole when we put together the Timeline and Agenda.
— Upon cutting the cake, and after an awkward silence, the staff had been missing so I had to leave the cake table, everyone asking where I was going, and ask the bartender if we could get a staff member to cut and serve the cake.
— Nicole had asked us when making our timeline if we wanted to save the top tier of the cake at which we said ‘Absolutely not!’ :) We had 3 different flavors in the 3 tiers for our wedding cake and a 4^th flavor for the grooms cake so we wanted to cut and serve everything. Well they saved and never cut the top tier plus they never cut the largest bottom tier! We had to take it home. I was disappointed when I heard my guests were asking to try a little bit of each flavor and were denied. Why have 4 flavors if no one can try them? I was especially bummed because I had raved to everyone about the flavors and encouraged them to try them all. They were supposed to cut the rest and leave it out. Only the middle tier and grooms cake was served.
— Some of my guests mentioned the bartender had been missing a few times they approached which if it’s not busy I kind of understand why he wouldn’t stay up there all night but once I approached and he was missing. One guest told me for a while they were serving only Canadian Molson’s. One person asked for a Blue Moon and he handed them a Molson. Our two cases of Blue Moon never were served. My only guess is they weren’t chilled so they didn’t serve it :(They maybe should inform you ahead of time if they want to limit the variety of beer (we served 5) so it will all be chilled. Oh well.
— One more thing… Nicole is very clear on not being the planner but the way she organizes everything including a Timeline/​Agenda, it’s like she has one foot in and one foot out… kind of a planner, kind of not. Some of my vendors and Unilocal reviews said you do not need a planner but our Ceremony started 15 minutes late because I was waiting for an ‘Ok’ to start (you need a planner or you must remember to start your event on time). Thankfully my sister-​in-​law was really on top of setting up the décor which without her the catering staff would have even missed putting out the stuff we gave to them (napkin bows, chargers, Martinelli’s).
YOU WILL NEED a Day-​Of coordinator because Nicole didn’t stay all night to make sure her catering staff were on top of the details (Rob, the day of Captain is). We had a Day-​Of Captain which I didn’t really see him much of the time and I’m sure he kept things moving but obviously some things fell between the cracks. It would be nice if you could just pay extra to have Nicole coordinate everything instead of her having to tell my guests she is not the the wedding planner… she did put together the Timeline and To-​Do list for her staff after all. Or outsource a coordinator as an Add On option that is familiar with the venue. I would have paid for that.
Overall, it might be impossible to expect a ‘perfect’ wedding but all of my vendors were amazing, including TYC. Hopefully, this review will just encourage them to pay attention to details and nothing goes missed on a bride and groom’s special day! Thank you for helping make our day as perfect as can be!!! I would definitely recommend them and give them 4.5 stars if I could.

This review is quite unusual as I was lucky to be a guest at a beautiful wedding at Malibou Lakes a couple of weeks ago. Maybe it was the energy of the event or just sheer outstanding performance that I was compelled to find out more information about Truly Yours and the vast services they provide.
As a guest to many weddings in the area, I have been lucky to have tasted the cuisines from celebrity chefs to good old fashioned bbqs. At this wedding, the food was impeccable and service absolutely seamless. Though I did not act like an awkward guest trying to interrogate the bride, I had to get more info for friends who are planning nuptials.
I was continually amused by the cuisine and libations that flowed effortlessly. Presentation was delightful and whimsy at times. I noticed that the entire TY team was in constant movement from the chef to waitstaff. The dedication and diligence of the entire team really was noticeable. I wish I had the opportunity to have TY handle my own personal nuptials but time travel has not been made available. Lol.
As I was perusing Unilocal,I was quite taken aback by Maxine’s comment and hope that the rest of the party including the bride were satisfied. And if not, hopefully TY was made aware rather than through a Unilocal posting. I value direct communication especially in the service industry. Weddings are a very stressful time with extremely high expectations placed on the actual day. The one lesson I’ve learned is that you can’t make EVERYONE happy. As a bride, consumer, Unilocal monster, and guest, I can say that I have been quite spoiled and can honestly say that TY is a gem of an organization matching the services found in «platinum weddings»
BRIDES and FIANCES, MOMS and DADS, save yourself all the stress and money trying other servicers. Truly Yours will offer a one stop shop for all your visions and needs. Avoid all the conflict and save time by entrusting the team. I will be engaging the TY team for the holidays and look forward to hosting a fabulous, fun and food filled event. I am confident I will be posting how successful it went!!!

We used Truly Yours for our wedding this past August and we could not have been happier. We had so many compliments on our food — who compliments wedding food?! But these guys are so awesome. :-)
One minor complaint is that at the tasting you only get to taste the food you are going to use for the event day. Meaning you don’t get to try multiple options. So for example one of the things we chose, we did not like and had to choose something else for the day-​of off the menu without getting to taste it. But it turned out to be delicious, so I suppose it’s okay.
The day of the wedding the staff was absolutely wonderful. They even gave us a doggy bag with all of our food because they know the bride and groom never have time to eat the food!
Highly recommended!

Truly Yours successfully catered our wedding held just last week at Orcutt Ranch (
). They’ve done this numerous times at the specified venue which is the primary reason my husband and I chose them.
Michelle and I corresponded via email and once over the phone for a few months until the wedding. She promptly answered every single one of my questions, sent me pictures when needed, provided a detailed invoice and timeline.
Chris, whom we met once just a couple days before the wedding, guided us with pictures of past catering events at the beautiful, horticultural and historical site. He assured us with his knowledge of the venue and provided ideas that would best suit our needs in the establishment.
Tracey is the professional, catering event manager for our mid October wedding. She and each accommodating staff member provided a well-​organized service. They were extremely attentive and friendly.
Finally, the food itself Truly Yours provided was delicious… except for the lumpia (which was good, however)…I can make a competitive one and it was confirmed by a few guests. Anyhow, I feasted on the crispy salmon with the succulent lemon-​caper sauce, and the grilled, organic veggies. Our menu also had vegetarian pad thai, wild rice, lemon chicken with tomato sauce, with appetizers including spring rolls, quesadillas and delightful little artichoke-​prosuitto tarts.
There was $ 500 fee for having guests less than $ 100, but it was well worth it!
