I take my dog Nikki here for grooming and the staff is awesome. They do a great job, they know us both by name, and the best endorsement? When we get there Nikki’s tail starts wagging like crazy! HAPPY DOG! And for grooming? That’s a good sign. Octavio and Chris always take great care of my girl :)!

Used this spot for a self pet wash. It’s the only one we could find in the area to wash our dogs quickly. Love their industrial blow drying. The shampoo/​conditioner was really watered down. Luckily we had brought our own.
There were empty bathing units, so we split up our dogs, but they seemed to have an issue with it. Make sure you request 2 tubs if you have 2 dogs, so it goes faster.

I brought my large labradoodle here for a bath. the tub was easy to get my dog into and the staff was very friendly and helpful. but i wasn’t too happy with the soap they give you. it’s completely watered down and i had to ask for another bottle just to finish my girl. also, the towels were too thin and too few. again, i had to ask for more. by the time i finished the job, my dog was still wet. this was my first time in this store and i don’t think i will ever come back again.

Horrible service at this location. Employees just talk to each other. You literally have to go up to the counter and ask for someone. I only go here because they always have the specific dog food my dogs like. It’s never super busy, so you can go in, grab what you need, and be on your way.

So pricey! Look up something you want to buy for your dog on Amazon, multiply that price by three or four, and you know the prices here. Basically I only come when my need is immediate.
They do have an easy parking lot and the sales staff are always very nice and the selection covers pretty much everything. Have a chinchilla? They have the food and the dust. Birds? They cater to that too. Want to put your dog or cat on a vegan, gluten-​free, fun-​free, raw-​only diet? They have it. We animal people are crazy and when you walk in and see the sundry you’ll agree.
They also have a grooming center and do adoptions on weekends. This is where they almost get me. However, they have cats more often than dogs and I’m allergic.
The one thing that I hate is how they always ask you to round your purchase up to make a donation to an animal charity. I’m definitely not tight-​fisted in this area but I very carefully research my charities before I donate and I do it in large enough amounts to be worthy of recording for tax purposes. So when I say «no», I get annoyed at the insistence. I think they’re doing a 10x mark up, so I already feel part of my purchase should be going to charity.

Omg! Chip is wonderful groomer. He made my yorky look like a handsome little man lol. I really like Chip. I’ll take him back to him again.

I adopted my fur baby here. On weekends they have cat adoptions. It was my first housecat and she was very young and underweight. The staff at the store helped me choose everything I’d need to make her comfy before bringing her home. They’ve been great every time I bring her into the store and when I’ve come in myself with a hundred questions or returning something that she just didn’t respond to. They are simply great. There’s also a lot of options of food, toys, etc.

Unleashed was accommodating even though we arrived near closing time. The staff is chill. They have a self-​wash and provide all the supplies necessary. Theyre awesome!

This is really a great place to get a lot of natural brands and organic brands of dog and cat food. If you are looking for meow mix or friskies, you shouldn’t come here. They have different brands like blue or MaxCat (which has kitten food, and my little kitten loves it now). Plus, the staff is super friendly and helpful. The one reason though that its ⁴⁄₅ stars is because there has been a number of times I would have to wait for a while at the front to be helped and checked out, but it is something that could be worked on if they had a way to page someone to come to the register (like a bell). They also have a clinic for vaccines, training for your dog, and grooming availble as well.

Love love love self washes under $ 15…$ 10 and clean and updated. sort of watered down shampoo but the lady let me use as much as I wanted so whatevvvvvs

Meh. I’ve been to this store several times since getting my pups in February 2015, tried to give it a chance. But, not one time has ANYONE said hi or offered to help. And, I almost always have to look for someone to come to the register so I can purchase something (usually the YöPup frozen yogurt my dogs LOVE). The merch is just okay, some good dog food brands, but very light on stuff like leashes and other pet accessories, just not a great selection. And, definitely not any cheaper than anywhere else. Not friendly, not helpful, not great merch (except for dog food), and no savings. I think I’ma try to find someplace else.

The self dog wash is amazing! Trying to bathe my two big dogs at home is one of my least favorite things to do and paying $ 80 to take them somewhere is ridiculous. I have been looking for a self wash place for a while and this place takes the cake! The price is $ 10 a dog and includes a basket with shampoo, conditioner, towels, brush and a scrub brush. So awesome, I will definitely be a regular here!

Self-​Wash
My vet tech recommended this place, because of the $ 10 self-​wash. I have an Akita and taking him to the groomers every other week can get expensive. Also, getting in the tub to bathe my dog is not the most comfortable thing in the world either. Plus, he has a double coat, so bathing takes forever. So I figured I would give the self-​wash a shot. Love it! We were greeted in a very friendly way and when I asked about the self-​wash, the employees explained the whole process to me. You pay and then you get a basket with shampoo, conditioner, brush, towels, apron, and bath brush. They asked me how many towels I needed and gave me an extra one for myself (which was totally needed). Since I had never done self-​wash I brought my own shed-​monster and brush, but I could have left them home, too. Then they took us to the wash area and I got to pick one of the three tubs. One tub has the nozzle on the right hand side, one has it on the left side and the third one has a shorter nozzle. I chose the one with the nozzle on the right since I am right-​handed. My dog is pretty big, but he does not like jumping, so we had to get him the steps to get into the tub. He was super nervous because he did not know what was going on. Once I had him in and the water on, he understood and relaxed. It was great, because we took our time, there was no rush and we had great bonding time. It is so much easier to soap up your dog when you don’t have to turn into a pretzel just so you can reach every spot on your dog. He, too, enjoyed it and there were people outside the window that stopped to watch my dog and flirt with him. I was soo glad they gave me an apron, even though I still got soaked, but I did not really mind. When we were done, I towel dried him and gave him a little massage which he loved. We skipped the dryer, so I can’t really say anything about it. All in all, this was such a pleasant experience for me as well as my dog and you just cannot beat 10 bucks. Thanks Unleashed, we will be back!

I’ve been in a dozen times and I always get the help I want from the staff on the floor. Recently, I was recommended this super cool leash that had an extra handle for when the dog pulls.
They also have a big section of less chemically products to use. Their food and toy section is extensive for cats and dogs.
Their pricing isn’t all that competitive so def. pick and choose what you buy.
They have a decent size parking lot.

SELF-​DOG WASH:
Tried the self-​dog wash for the first time this weekend and it was totally simple and worth it! Like other reviewers have pointed out, the staff isn’t much help and the baths could be cleaner, but overall I was very satisfied. Not sure where the extra towels were, but we brought our own. There’s only one dryer which is unfortunate because there are 3 baths which means waiting there with a wet uncomfortable dog if someone else is using it.
The baths are large and my dog is normally fidgety, but the space really helps. You can control the temp of the water which is a nice change and the dryer isn’t cold air (as other self washes offer). Can’t beat $ 10 bucks either! Ultimately, very satisfied with our experience and will be back again for bath time!

One of Rupert’s fave stores in my neighborhood. He actually pulls us here on walks when he realizes we are drawing near. The employees are super nice and helpful, always ask nicely if they can give Rup a treat, and the prices are great.
They have a huge selection of healthy, grain free food, tons of toys, outfits, fashionable leashes and collars, and they even have a dog washing station which I realized is one of the best things ever. Rupe and I tried this out a few months ago and it was WELL worth the $ 10 we paid to use their huge raised tub (I’m getting too old to break my back, being doubled over trying to bathe rupert in my tiny apartment bath tub), they provide you with shampoo, conditioner, brushes, and towels, as well as a raised table and blow dryer to give your pooch a glorious hair style when his bath is finished. I normally get Rupert professionally groomed for $ 60 so this was a great way to save a few bucks.
I try to be fair and also go to my local «mom and pop» pet store as well, but when it comes to large franchise pet supply stores, Unleashed is just fantastic. Basically you’re getting the prices of a huge corporation, with the customer service of a small family owned store. In fact, last Sunday I forgot that they closed at 6pm and Rupe was fresh out of his kibble. I realized this while speeding down the 170 freeway at 5:58. I called and asked if they would mind staying open a few minutes and they very graciously obliged and were super nice when I arrived.
A true pup haven.

2015 Unilocal 100 CHALLENGE — ⁰⁰¹⁄₁₀₀
Came here for the first time today to pick up a cat bed and a new laser pointer for my kitty!
Parking was ok. They have a parking lot out front but it’s really small and narrow. I was lucky to snag a spot although I can imagine it might be tricky on busier days.
I was immediately greeted by a sales associate as soon as I walked in, which was great. The store was very clean and well organized. Not dirty at all, which was great. Pet friendly as well, and several customers had brought their dogs in with them.
They had a decent selection of cat and dog beds, and I managed to get one on sale — originally $ 19.95 and I got it for $ 14.95. I also got a laser pointer that came with 3 extra batteries for only $ 3.99! Comparable to the ones I’ve purchased at Target that didn’t even come with spare batteries (hence why I needed a new one).
The store was mostly for dogs. They had an ok amount of cat stuff, but I would have liked to see more.
This store isn’t as big as most Petsmarts or Petcos I’ve been to, but they still had a decent amount of stuff and still enjoyed it!
Overall, pretty solid pet store. A little on the smaller side but they had what I needed and prices weren’t too bad. 4 stars!

Here’s a great way to keep customers…
If you’re going to put store hours on your website with a caption that says «Walk-​ins are always welcome» — DON’T let the grooming department go home an hour before closing time! Some of us «working folk» rely on store hours.
On a side note: 2 weeks ago I brought my dog here to get his nails clipped and when I got home I noticed they didn’t even clip his dewclaws!

Wonderful customer service!
Just like a Petco but a smaller store space and the assortment is concentrated around dogs and cats.
Groomers opened til 9 PM Monday thru Saturday and til 6 PM Sunday. Reyna did a wonderful job with Pluto. He looks so handsome! She was done in about 90 minutes. They also have a self service bathing center.

$ 10 for a dog bath — cant get much better than that! After reading the Unilocal reviews we went in and looked at the area before purchasing the baths for our two dogs. (You pay at the register and they give you the shampoo, conditioner, brush and towels.) The tubs were clean.
We went in at 8pm at night so there would be less people/​dogs, making it easier on the dogs. They have three tubs and one blow dryer. We were in and out in about 40 minutes. We also requested help the water temperature and the employees were helpful.
