Valley Friction Materials

I’ve always had a good experience with VF. They’ve turned rotors, resurfaced some rare and hard to find clutch pressure plates, and I’ve never had any problems. Helpful and quick service.

I visited Valley Friction for a custom brake hose for my ’61 GMC project. They were able to find exactly what I wanted and an off-​the-​shelf piece to boot. They also have a good selection of inverted flare fittings and had what I needed. The guys there are very knowledgeable.

I was a 35year plus customer until i was hosed really bad by Valley Friction, a week ago i took my break calipers in to get them rebuilt and told the counter guy i could buy rebuilt calipers at the local auto parts for $ 320.00 but i was hoping to save a little money going to Valley Friction. After waiting 6 days and never getting a call from Valley Friction i called themand was told my calipers were finished and i owed $ 680.00 and i said i never authorised sush a outragous price like that. After talking to the manager for 30 min he said he would come down to his cost which was $ 413.00 that i could either pay that price or they would keep my calipers, SO IF YOU WANT TO GET RIPPED OFF AND WAIT 6 DAYS AND ALSO PAY 20% ABOVE FULL RETAIL PRICE THAN VALLEY FRICTION IS THE PLACE TO GO!!! I will never spend another penny there and have warned many of my friends in the auto business!!!
