Budget Flooring

I set up an appointment for today & IT WAS THE MOST HORRIBLE, UNPROFESSIONAL experience I’ve ever had (& I’ve asked help from the guys sitting outside of Home Depot before!!). I get a call from an extremely irritated & RUDE man named DAWN (?), that he had been sitting outside the gate for 10 min because I DIDN’T GIVE A GATE CODE when I set up the appointment last week.(hey, genius! You waited 10 minutes because you didn’t call & ask me 10 minutes ago!!!) As soon as I gave it to him, he HUNG UP ON MY FACE. I called the store to reschedule because I didn’t want that man in my house. I’m alone with a child & no exaggeration, he was scaring me. & the woman said «we don’t have anyone else, because HE’S THE OWNER! Wow…

We had our living room and hallway carpet removed and laminate flooring put in. When they cut out the carpet from my bedroom area, they tore a piece out of the bedroom carpet that was staying there. The owner agreed to replace the bedroom carpet; however we had to pay another $ 422 on top of paying for laminate flooring. The owner said that the price of the carpet was at his cost, and he would not charge us for installation, when in fact the price of all their flooring includes installation. I do not believe we should have paid anything. Buyer beware!!!

We visited their showroom three times and got the worst customer service each time. The one woman working was on the phone everytime and while that’s fine, and I understand running a business day to day is hectic, a little common courtesy is all you need to show customers. Instead of being pleasant or friendly, she was bothered and basically ignored us. She couldn’t answer most of our questions and said she’d have someone call us. No one ever followed up with pricing quotes like we requested. We went elsewhere for our flooring based on the lacking customer service and would never come back. The prices are high anyways, but the customer service is worst.

Went in on a Saturday to schedule an in-​home consultation and was able to get an appointment the following Monday. The quote the gave me for hardwood flooring was very reasonable. The consultants were very professional, asked me what I was looking for and gave me a lots of options to choose from. The installers were always on time and completed the job in 2 days as promised. The other thing I was impressed about was that they always cleaned up after themselves at the end of each day. And they back up their work with a guarantee as long as you own your home.

I had Budget Flooring install carpeting in my house (about 1000 sq ft) a couple of months ago, and then new tile in my new house just this past week. I think I got a good price, and the installers did a great job.
The carpet installers (Eric & dad) did a fabulous job, moving all the furniture carefully and putting it back the same way. They had to take apart a large 4 section office set and a complicated king sized bed, and they put it all back exactly the way it was. They were great.
The tile installers were just as good. The quote was for 4 days (I have very big furniture and a lot of it) and they got it done in 3−½. Again, they moved all the furniture carefully, including stove and fridge, reinstalled everything correctly, and were careful with the furnishings. Francisco, Diego and Jose were friendly, cooperative and competent. I couldn’t have asked for better service.
I don’t know whether the measurement on the carpeting was correct to the inch or not. I know it was very close. The tile measurement was about 32 sq. ft. over the actual square footage of the house, and I don’t think that small difference is unreasonable. The quote from Budget Flooring was $ 2000 less than another quote I got, so since they had already done some work for me with which I was very happy, I went with them. I don’t expect that have any more work done for some time, but if I do, I will definitely consider Budget Flooring.
I do not work for the company. I do not know anyone at the company. I am just a satisfied customer!

I haven’t made a purchase or had anything installed so I cannot comment on that. I did have them come out for a measure/​estimate and they over measured my house 200+sqft. Make sure you measure first &or have a few different companies measure your place so you don’t get screwed. It states on their flyers they will beat other estimates however, I dropped off a cheaper estimate from RCwilley and waited a week for someone to call back. When they didnt call my husband did and was told they could not beat RCwilley. They tried to give examples of what possibly RCwilley may have missed for a lower estimate but everything was on it so that was a load of bs.. So basically Budget BUDGET? flooring overmeasures and false advertises.

First OFF —- DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY WITH THIS HORRIBLE COMPANY!!!
They are such SCAMMERS that I would tend to believe the one good review they received is from someone from their Company !!!
They RIPPED ME OFF PADDING my Bill SO MUCH and told me that — this is what they do to EVERYONE !!!
2 Rooms, a closet, and some steps COST ME OVER $ 3000.00 — And TOOK THEM SEVERAL Months to do that after they ran my Credit Card — so I couldn’t get my money back !!!
They are THIEVES !!! And I hate the flooring job they did —- It’s HORRIBLE and I GOT SO RIPPED OFF !!!
I saw their flyer that is in ALL the mailings so it looked like a good deal so I went with them — They advertise on this little flyer like it the best deal in Las Vegas — BUT IT IS NOT !!! Don’t be ripped off and FOOLED like I was !!!
Til this day I am SO MAD THEY RIPPED ME off so Bad! And when I called to speak to the Owner — that was just a waste of time — because he had already got my money — so he was cocky and rude to me !!!

Do not go to Budget Flooring!!! I was given an incorrect estimate where I was supposed to add the figures to get the total price. Who does estimates like that? When I went in for a final quote, Pat, the sales representative told me a total different price I was quoted. She was eating her lunch and hanging with a friend when she should have been working! I left dissatisfied and called back to speak with a supervisor. Pat then lies to me by saying she’s the super, yeah right! She said that the owner will call me upon his return to Vegas… I never received a call. When I share my story, everyone says that Pat is the worst. We went to Carpets n More instead.
