Krav Maga is the official self defense system of the Israeli Defense Forces, and has been taught to hundreds of law enforcement agencies and thousands of civilians. It has grown in popularity in the United States over the last 10 years and we will teach you the latest methods that have proven to work.

Meet the Business Owner

Gavin M.

Business Owner

Mr. Gavin McHenry is a retired fighter pilot from the United States Air Force and is currently co-​owner and Chief Instructor at McHenry’s Martial Arts and Krav Maga North Las Vegas. He holds a 4^th Degree Black Belt in Taekwondo and is a Nationally Certified Instructor. He has been training in Krav Maga since 2005, and has been teaching in Las Vegas since arriving in 2007. Gavin currently holds certification in the three primary levels of Krav Maga and is a certified instructor trained under Krav Maga Worldwide. In his free time Mr. McHenry enjoys flying his personal airplane, hanging out with his family and spending time with friends. Gavin instructs in all program areas of the martial arts studio and also offers private instruction in any of these areas.
