They advertise $ 9.99 oil change. I did not ask for an upgrade oil. When you checkout out its $ 24.45. Would not come back. Watch out for their false advertisement.

Needed oil change for Dodge Sprinter MB Cruiser while on the road. I tried the typical Walmart, Jiffy Lube etc and they all said they are not licensed to handle an oil change for my vehicle or it’s too big. Just about ready to head back to San Diego, I stopped in this shop and asked if they could handle. No problem, the lady (owner ?) told me to get oil and filter at Oreilys and they would do it for $ 10 bucks plus haz fees. How can you beat that! Super cool people, super friendly service and willing to go the extra mile for a customer. Thank you for the piece of mind ahead of a five hour trip back home.

I took my car to get an oil change. Was leery of sales people as I am older. They took me to my car and explained everything to me so I could make an educated decision. What other shops quoted as 2500. The lady said 1800. My car runs great thanks Purrfect auto. I will refer all my friends. Five stars! !!!

Kris is a great guy to work with. He is more than patient and is willing to listen & understand what is going on and the wants to get customers out the door. Deal with him only at this location. Deborah on the other hand sucks! She will hold your vehicle and not complete the work and push you out the door even when the work isn’t completed. They will also charge you way too much money for the things that can be done at a more competitive cost within the same town.
This shop has had my vehicle for over a month (and this is the second time I’ve dealt with this shop Craig & Loosse is just as bad) and I had to call the cops because of the manager being rude and unprofessional and not cognius of the time they’ve had my vechile.
I’ve spent over 10k of work and I still haven’t gotten things taken care the way that it suppose to had been. I have a little work that needs to be taken care of on my vehicle and after having my vehicle for 30+ days, she wants to hold it for another 2 weeks for 1.5 hrs worth of work.
When I say unprofessional, I mean just that. Clearly this is a person who doesn’t understand «Service» and if you have a professional relationship with your customer you should keep everything between the two and not have a third party intervene.
Please, after looking at these reviews on Unilocal,don’t take your vehicles to any of there franchises. They are shady and will ripe you off. I’m Military live in plenty of states and had have had better service with Pep boys & etc. This shop waited till the last minute to have my vehicle taken care of before my family move. Our orders are to be at our new location and they have no urgency after 30 + days and still poor services. Its shame that you have to do these the of reviews, but I’m the type to let others know about experiences for the good or worse!
I am going to have to take this company to small claims just to get this shop to do what I’ve paid them to do in the first place. SMH
By the way, I’ll be calling BBB and local news station I hope the owner really evaluates the management staff but… PLEASE TAKE HEED, FIND ANOTHER SHOP!!!

This location is definitely where you’d like to bring your vehicle. Time and time again I’ve brought my company vehicles to be serviced on, AMAZING. They know their craft and very reasonable. I will continue to refer all my customers, family, and friends.

I came here on a whim because CARMAX let the smog on my new «used» car expire because they don’t know how many days are in the month of July and after staying at the DMV for awhile I have to rush and find a place worthy of doing my smog check while also dealing with my moody self. Let me be clear I was not in the best of moods upon arriving at this place. However they only charge 15 $ for a smog and it was close by and they had no wait. Upon entering I was helped by a nice lady who I sadly didn’t note her name and she got us all set up and my car was done within fifteen minutes. I plan to check this place out for a oil change especially since I now know they have coupons that include really good deals. I don’t know if I would get a car worked on here but I did notice they had a huge sign talking about how their mechanics don’t work on commission. I am so against being «Upsold» I can come here with peace of mind I won’t be harassed to do a zillion things or apply for «credit» like at Firestone.

I’ve been bringing my cars here for minor and moderate repairs for over 5 years and this used to be a fair priced and reputable shop with no high pressure up sales, but no more.
I went there today with a coupon for a $ 9.99 oil change, but low and behold, my car doesn’t use that grade (¹⁰⁄₃₀ only), so I figured they’d add a few bucks for my «recommended» grade but they more than doubled the advertised price to $ 25.53. My car is no hot rod. It’s an average Nissan with a 4 cylinder no less.
Additionally, the last time I took my car there, for a smog check I think, they said I needed new brakes, front and rear among other things. My car has over 80K miles, so it sounded reasonable. I found a better deal on brakes (about 20% less) and asked them to confirm the recommendation from Purrfect out of curiosity. The other shop said I only needed rear brakes but the fronts still had over 50% wear remaining and they gave me the measurements to prove it… I know it might sound strange that the rears wore quicker than the fronts, but after a little research, I learned that’s not unusual for Nissans.
Not sure what happened with the ownership or management, but this place has taken a turn for the worse and I now lump them in with all the other shade tree auto shops in this valley.
Not– so– Purrfect, you’ve lost a loyal customer. Potential customers BEWARE!!!

Total rip off! Same story as all the others… went in for the $ 13.95 oil change special they advertised. Shady mechanic brought me a laundry list of over $ 2k of work to be done. Right after he was done the old lady behind the counter handed me a invoice for $ 30. She said their special didn’t cover the kind of oil my 96 GMC Yukon needed. After some arguement and me ripping the estimate up in front of her face and telling her they will never see me or any of my families vehicles ever again I paid the $ 30 and left. Never again… My bet is that Sylvia Q with the only positive endorsement is a family member or employee.
Only reason I gave them a star is this site would not let me post a review without it.

Never thought I would come here after a few negative past experiences with other Purrfect Auto Shops and not to mention their low star average. But it was time yet again for a smog check and I had a coupon for $ 9.99. So it was during this time that they noticed some of the much needed repairs in my car. I was already made aware of the issues previously and I had a list of about $ 3,000 worth of needed repairs.
So it has been a slow climb in taking care of these issues one at time. I normally go to Honda or a certified Honda repair shops… but to be completely honest there is not much in price difference. So when the mechanic told me he would repair 2 of the car issues for $ 350 US and I have been quoted nothing less than $ 700 elsewhere I had to take my chances. He even said he would throw in an oil change and would not charge me for the smog check. WOW! Too good to be true… I am pleased to say my car is running great!
I can’t speak for ALL Purrfect Auto shops in town, but my experience here was worth sharing. Ask for Raul… he was so personable and professional.

I’m a 22 year old girl on my way to work and got a flat in their parking lot. Literally. I walked over there and said «this is embarrassing but can someone put my spare on my car, please.» his reply,” I only have one mechanic here, no.” As he was saying that there were 5 mechanics walking behind him. I’m not kidding you. After pointing to the other men and saying «really? All of you gentlemen here and no one can change a spare for a girl? Remin me to never come back here.» his response? «good, don’t come back.» don’t EVER come here.

Absolute shady crooks. I went in for the 13.99 lube, oil, and filter advertied roadside. Sounds like a good deal, right? Wrong. I sat in the dingy little waiting room with two other guys waiting for their cars to be done as well. One at a time, we were pulled out to the garage and told we «needed» extensive extra repairs, which they would be glad to take care of (of course). I was told i needed 3000.00 of miscellaneous repairs done right away. I get my regular maitenance done at the dealership, but figured Id save a few bucks on the oil change. So all these things they were trying to upsell me on were crap.
Oh, and after having to tell them 4 times to“just change the oil” that 13.99 oil change came to 43.00 and change after disposal fees and other assorted fees and charges. They should be wearing masks! Shameless crooks!
Never, ever, EVER again will i go to another Purrfect Auto Service of any kind.
