BEWARE WOW is all I can say about this company. Reread our emails from before and see how this conversation went for yourself. Here is the best part. I didn’t send to many options for estimates out for the other part of my project as I already had some good reputable subs using. So mind you the few parts I have out for bid is plaster and concrete. I have not chosen a plaster company nor a concrete company yet. So only person not doing my work is ROW. So take a guess what they did. Called state contractors board on me. Yes was a anonymous complaint. Who else would of called? Nobody because they still want my work. So ROW tries to tell them I’m contracting a job as an owner builder for another person. Basically doing contract work without a license. Well thank you for doing that because all you did was make sure everything I was doing was correct. My name is not on the house but the owner of the house is my WIFE. As the husband yes I can be owner builder with my wife. That was a pretty low class move for me writing a bad review. A review that you posted emails on that said exactly what I said. Beware if you do not pick this company or write a bad review they will do what they can to try to make it hard on you. Consumer be very careful and make sure you have all paperwork correct. They will say it was not them but as you can see from last conversation they were not trying to make situation better they wanted to continue to argue about me trying to give them business. They’re only worried about the good reviews. A good company and trust me been in construction 23years would do what it takes to make it right with customer or atleast not add fuel to fire to it. You can read all my reviews I do very few but this one had to be reviewed for the service I got and the response I got for the review.

Row redesigned and updated our pool and we couldn’t be happier with the finished product. They made the best use of existing space and suggested enhancements that improved our whole yard and patio. Randy’s regular updates and progress reports added to our confidence as we were out of town for most of project. Looking for creative expertise and a company you can trust — Row is the one.

I recently had my pool refinished by ROW and they did a fantastic job. I called 3 companies out for bids and they were all relatively close to each other. I chose ROW because of the professionalism and thoroughness of the sales guy. He explained the entire process and outlined what to expect. It was very windy and he even warned me to expect delays due to the wind as they can’t plaster when it’s windy. Our project was delayed by about a week due to weather but I would rather them postpone the job and do it right instead of just proceeding and it turning out poorly. They took what looked like a swamp and turned it into a 5 star pool. Originally, I wasn’t sure the pool could be saved and now I’m considering charging admission because of how good it looks.

We called ROW to fix a simple drain by our pool. Mainly cosmetic. They said they’d have to redo all the cool decking etc around the area because it didn’t look level. They quoted us $ 1700! After we escorted him out of our house, we found a handyman that charged us $ 40.00 to replace the drain. It looks perfect. Stay away from this company.

Poor customer service, messed up my pool resealing, killed my grass, received complaints from my HOA on leaving the street a mess. The pool resealing had to be done twice and took 6 weeks not 2 as promised. The second pebble sealer was also done incorrectly leaving blotches throughout. I do not recommend them for pool resurfacing at all

As in the past comments only gave one star because 0 is not an option. If your planning on dealing with this company please DON’T! Worst mistake of our life was to hire them to re plaster our pool it’s been three months and the job isn’t complete. Called Jose the so called GM of the company who is just as rude as the sales men to ask about the job and when it would be ready so they could receive payment, he proceeded to threatened to have our house liened if he didn’t receive payment! Worst company ever!

I give one star only because 0 stars is not an option. It is May 29^th. ROW was supposed to start our job May 20^th and finish by today as we are having a party for 50 at our house tomorrow. After no call/​no show on the 20^th, I called them. I was told they were running behind a few days but would still have no problem finishing on time. I have yet to hear back from them. When I called Randy last weekend, he told me he is only sales and once an agreement has been reached he is out of the picture. «Great» customer service… just like all the other reviews have mentioned. Fortunately they have not started work so it is time to find another contractor.

Horrible, horrible, horrible… Really thought these guys would do a great job but such a let down. The plaster in the pool and spa is the worse I have ever seen. The attitude of even attempting to work with us from Jose is beyond the worst customer service I have ever dealt with. They have a number of complaints filed on them if you look at the contractors board web site.

We just had our pool completely remodeled by Row Custom this summer. The scope of the work included removing the existing deck and replacing it with new deck with a cool deck surface; removing the old plaster and tile and replacing it with new tile and plaster. In addition a «wet deck» (or «cabo shelf») was added in the shallow end of the pool.
From the start, this company was professional and presented itself well. Craig, the sales representative was responsive, made suggestions and made the process very easy. A very competitive bid was given within a few days of walking the job.
After several bids we chose ROW as they were the most competitive bid as well as the most detailed as for pricing and scope of work. We signed the contract and they begin when they said they would. They provided a detail schedule of when to expect what work to take place and then followed up with a phone call to say if someone was not going to be there that day or if something was being delayed. They were VERY professional in keeping us informed of the progress.
The job was completed to our satisfaction. It took a bit longer than expected to completed, but not due to the fault of ROW. Other contractors complicated the job by breaking pool lines. And here is where I truly think Row separated themselves from the competition.
In all project, unforeseen problems will come up. When these did happen, Row handled them in a professional manner. There were some issues where other contractors might have not completed the work…but ROW worked with the other contractors and got the job completed. In fact, they went beyond the scope of their part of the work to help the other contractor out and get the situation resolved. ROW was there to complete the job and I’m impressed with how their people handled the process.
Another important positive to point out is when it comes to the issues of additional costs. ROW’s bid was detailed enough to where the extra «surprises» didn’t materialize. We did add some water features that weren’t included in the bid that was extra, but these costs were very reasonable and within my level of expectations of what they should have cost.
Finally, at the end of the project, I was presented with a package that included a full lien release, warranty documents that included a one-​year warranty for the deck and deck surface as well as a SEVEN year warranty on the tile and plaster. I don’t know many companies that are willing to stand behind their work like this.
I would highly recommend using this company for remodeling your pool!!!
