Sunrise Donut & Bakery Shop

This place is now Real Donuts. They have a good selection of regular, large, and giant donuts. The donuts are very good, not greasy or oily. They also have Mexican style pastries, subs, tortas, etc. The lady helping us was very friendly. We were lucky to have found a place open on Christmas day. We almost gave up and went to 7/​11, this was much better. I was going to take off a star because it’s very small inside, but that probably won’t matter to many.

I don’t like donuts. However, if you like giant donuts (and your resulting fat ass) and enjoy roughing it in terms of sanitation, then I recommend coming here. I am a loyal reader of the RJ health inspection summary, and this place will forever go down in my book as the grossest place in Las Vegas Health Inspection History. Do you want to know what an inspector discovered «drying» in the donut display case here? A MOTHERFUCKING PAIR OF DIRTY WET SHOES. I shit you not people, an ingenious employee put a pair of wet fucking shoes in the donut display case during store hours, right next to the donuts. That being said, this is exactly the level of cleanliness and general restaurant propriety you should expect when dining in North Town. Enjoy!
