Manager

My name is Brandie Heiseler. I am from St. Louis, MO. I have been married for 15 years and have 2 beautiful children; a 10 year old daugher and a 5 year old son.

I graduated from Southern Illinois University in 1998 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work and have been working in the field of child care since 2000. I was hired by Head Start shortly after graduation, where I discovered my passion for early childhood education and working directly with families. It is truly a privilege to have the opportunity to share in the growth and development of children.

I, as well as my 5 year old, absolutely love this daycare. She used to be enrolled at that other place down the street and some of the things there horrified me, as well as had me hotter than a summer fish fry!!! In my opinion, they didn’t have an adequate staff to children ratio, there was a serious lack of communication between the director and staff, the staff was rude, and this is not to mention how my children were treated to include sending a bag of her soiled panties home in a bag with the accident still attached, allowed to go the entire day in wet urine soaked clothes to the point the clothes air dried, sent home in another child’s panties although extra clothing provided, and if she had a runny nose it would not be wiped the entire day. We gave that place almost two months to address our concerns but the final straw came one day my wife witnessed a teacher there yelling at a child so loud it was heard at the reception area and no one working there found this disturbing. This place was horrible but thank God for Watch Me Grow!!!
We decided at that point to check out Watch Me Grow which was right down the street and actually closer to our home. It was like night and day!!! The staff to student ratios are excellent! The staff are very patient and warming to the children. They feed the children. This may sound minor but they greet the children as they arrive and leave by name. That other place was void of such interaction. Finally my child’s speech and overall development has been excellent, as well as her social and personal care skills. I absolutely love this daycare and would recommend it to any parent! I can honestly say it feels like I’m dropping my children off with family members.

My son started going here when my second child was born and needed multiple surgeries and many doctors appointments. He is three years old and was never in any kind of child care or away from us for any kind of time. They have been amazing for the past ten months with him and he has grown so much in that time. The teachers and entire staff are great not only with our son but with us as parents as well.
With our other son and his surgeries and special needs he has not been enrolled in this program yet. I feel very comfortable as soon as he recovers from his last surgery that I can show them his special feeding needs and that he will also been in excellent hands.
For the growth of both of my children I think watch me grow is the best place for them to interact with other children. Have an educational based daycare and a staff that takes the time and cares. I would not trust anyone else.

All three of my kids has been coming here starting with my daughter at 18 months
and now she’s in kindergarten and still goes when she’s on break. Mrs. Brandi and her staff are very nice and will treat you and your kids with respect. She has renovated the center twice since and it looks better and better every time. It’s clean I never seen any bugs or rats. I have even seen all of the staff clean every night before they leave. One thing I really loved is the fact that even though I’m so busy with work and school they actually prepared my daughter for kindergarten she actually got into the school she’s in because Watch Me Grow is accredited and so they actually teach your kids. I am also seeing the same improvements with my son that is about to be two, which is also another plus for me because, I know that the staff is teaching the kids knowledge and not just taking it as being a daycare but also a learning environment.

My daughter has been coming here since she was about 10 months old and she has grown so much! She is now 27 months old and is smart beyond measure and I can’t help but thank the wonderful staff at Watch Me Grow for all that she has learned. The center has been completely renovated since we started there and is absolutely beautiful, very brightly colored and welcoming to children and their families. The center is always clean and never has the ‘ammonia’ type of smell that I notice in some other centers. The staff is always pleasant and the pricing is very affordable. My daughter really thrives at Watch Me Grow!
