I went for laser hair removal. I clearly stated that I wanted a package price for any and all parts that could be lasered… I requested to pay up front in cash for ALL sessions needed. They told me I could only laser 3 parts and that the cost would be $ 800… They did the first session and were only going to do part of the bikini area when that was not was what agreed upon, they then said it would be an additional $ 100 which I paid willingly… I did the second session and when they finished the PA told me to see the office
Manager to «check out» I had explained that I had already paid up front for all services which at that point they explained that what I had paid for was only the first appointment. Which means my laser for three small areas would Have been nearly $ 6000 at the end… She also consulted on a case for m my 4 year old daughter and she was very rude and condescending and of no help… I will ever use her again…

I was a bit off put by my first consultation with Dr. Trowers. She talked over me, sped completely through everything, didn’t really listen to my concerns and I could barely even ask a question because of how much she kept cutting me off. Then she diagnosed me an issue before she even took a look at my scalp, but she did end up helping my immediate issue so I was grateful. Fast forward 3 weeks later to my follow up and basically the same thing took place. She kept talking over me and kept trying to sell me products for an issue I don’t even have. We didn’t even touch on my second issue because she kept speaking over me. I won’t be returning.

Dr Trowers policy is to collect your credit card information so they can charge you for whatever your insurance company doesn’t pay. They will charge you without warning or a phone call to advise you of the balance due. I have used her products before and they do work. The credit card policy is ridiculous.

No thank you. Hopefully Dr. Towers and front office will complete a Basic Customer Service course. Dr. Tower speeds through her consultations with quick fixes and the staff doesn’t take the time to make sure that customers understand directions.

I was very apprehensive to have anything done on my face. I was very scared not about the pain but about the outcome. I wanted to look like myself but refreshed. I have seen a few of my friends that after getting fillers they do not look like and themselves.
I asked a lot of questions and she was very patient answering everything patiently making me feel very comfortable. After she injected me I saw a difference immediately. I would highly recommend!!!

She is just a great dermatologist! Great staff, friendly. The staff and the doctor takes their time with you. I trust her she’s not there to push stuff on you and make money, she really cares about results. I would highly recommend her.

She is simply unprofessional and arrogant!
As far as her medical ability, I would seriously doubt them…
Be careful of the credit card authorization form which will allow the office complete authority to charge, they did it to me, charging few months after we left the office.
Do your research and find someone else.

Dr. Trowers was great. She does speak a little fast but I was able to understand her easily. I appreciate that she didn’t just throw medicine at me. She gave me healthy easy fixes. Her medical assistants was amazing and very personable. She explained much slower what Dr. Trowers said and advised me of additional information. The check out process was fast and efficient. I scheduled my next appointment in two weeks and I’m excited to go see her again.

Where should I begin? Man this woman is ridiculous. i went to Dr. Trowers because my mother had her cyst removed by her; Although she doesn’t have the best custom service skills. Throughout my mother’s whole procedure she was talking about firing one of her employees smh so professional .now for my visit a few years later. I waited almost two hours for her to talk to me for less than 4 mins. During those 4 mins of her talking about every thing but the cyst I was worried about she started to ask me about why my face isn’t clear and ways she can clear up my skin with creams that you can’t use if you are pregnant or plan on becoming pregnant. Oh FYI I don’t have acne prone skin. but anyway Long story short, I don’t know if I had a cyst or a boil, and I wasted 65 dollars. I do not recommend this dermatologist for anyone.

I highly recommend Dr. Trowers. Have been taking my son to her for about 4 years. She is very professional, and knows her stuff. I always feel that my son is in good hands. She is down to earth and not an alarmist. She was recommended by our pediatrician, who told me she’s one of the best dermatologist’s in town! Her staff is wonderful and always accomodating and ready to answer questions and they make the effort to get you an appointment as soon as possible. Don’t listen to the negative posts on here. Dr Trowers is just very quick and to the point. She is no-​nonsense, but very caring and kind. You are there to get a diagnosis and the correct treatment, not to sit down over coffee and talk about your life people!

Dr andrea trowers was referred to us by our pediatrcian. We have seen her twice in the past two months for two different issues. She is extremely attentive personable and technically extremely competent as a dermatologist. We will return to her again and i may even start seeing her too. Dr trowers office staff is great too. When we called to schedule the two visits they completely understood the urgency for us to get our child in to see her and accomodated our request.

Awefull Experience, you cant see this dr. If you dont give them your credit/​debit card or a Blank check! Yes you read well, they wont bother with you unless you give them authorization to charge your credit or debit account as they feel. Its a shame that some dr offices have no ethic and make you feel all they are after is your MONEY! I hope they realize how detrimental it is to their bussiness. The way the form is written is very shady and can be used to do any charges patients are not even aware (i already read the comments on how they do it all the time without iven notify u) i dont see how that can be even legal. I’m so glad i decided to go to another dr after reading all these bad comments about her and her staff Thanks But No Thanks!

I had a facial done a little while ago with Heidy, and she was so sweet and helpful. She explained what she was going to do during my facial and made me very comfortable.
They use the Clarisonic facial cleanser and I absolutely love how it made my skin feel so clean!

I’ve going to Dr. Trowers for more than 5 years now. I won’t mention my age but I will tell you that whenever I do disclose it no one ever believes me. She is an amazing dermatologist and I wouldn’t put anything on my face/​skin that she did not recommend. My skin has never looked better and more youthful and I have Dr. Trowers to thank for that!

I’ve now been back here for 3 follow up visits with Dr. Trowers’ PA Jentry. My face is now 98% clear and I am extremely happy with the regiment I was given. If you don’t find Dr. Trowers’ bedside manner to be warm and fuzzy enough for you, simply request Jentry to do your follow up visits.

I agree with many of the reviews. Dr Trowers is not personable at all. She cannot even make eye contact with you while she is talking. She rushes through the appointment and just leaves abruptly. I’m shocked that after all these negative reviews that she cannot see that she is the problem and not her patients and has not taken any initiative to improve her bedside manner.
I personally cannot trust a doctor that does not even feel comfortable enough to make eye contact with me. It also didn’t help that she was dressed like she was going to a south beach club with a very form fitting bandage dress and fluorescent pink stilettos. What doctor dresses like that to see patients?
As someone else mentioned, if you want to see a good dermatologist, go to Dr Trowers. Much nicer office in a nicer neighborhood, never over crowded and she’s a very personable and caring physician.

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Trowers for more than 8 years and she has always been very pleasant and most informative. She took the time to really get to know me and explain in great details my skin care issues. Thanks to her my skin improved immensely and I usually receive lots of wonderful comments from my family and friends. Not only has she helped me put also many of my friends and family members.

Dr T — congrats on hiring a pr company and for the response… Almost a year later. My skin is looking great now thanks to Dr. Barba (folks, check out Barba Dermatology). The amounts of medicine I used didn’t make a damn difference. What did matter was that she took the time to get to know me. There is a way to speak «vivaciously» as your spin doctor put it (quite eloquent I might add) while also making the patient feel welcomed and important. Best of luck to you.

I do not understand some of the bad reviews because i have not have a bad experience. On the contrary, Dr Trowers is very proactive and explains the procedures in detail and why is she doing what she is doing.
Additionally, she makes sure you understand.
Yes, it is true she is very hyper and i see how people can feel rushed because of this. She was pleasant and friendly the few times i have been there and had biopsies done. Also, she had a light touch and i did not feel a thing.
Yes, it is also true that she comes in with her assistants but this does not bother me as they are very nice and friendly.
I have no reason not to keep going, i like her and to top it off her consult is really nice, clean and trendy.

First and Foremost, I must say that I absolutely adore Dr. Trowers. Dr. Trowers and her staff is very energetic, professional, and passionate. She is very knowledgeable in diagnosing and treating skin disorders. I have been a patient since 2008. She has the ‘ora” about her that makes me leave her office feeling Fabulous !!! Of course, she prescribed the TAZORAC. However, it is highly effective. My skin has never been this clear (healthy) before becoming one of her patients.
Also, every 3 to 6 month I usually set an appointment for a microdermabrasion which is provided by Anna the esthetician. Although, I had gotten complacent with the old esthetician Erica, Anna does a phenomenal job and creates a warm majestic experience.
Over all, 4 Thumbs UP ! ;-)
