While on vacation in North Myrtle Beach I swung into Krispy Kreme when the HOT sign was on. Loved watching the making of a donut as they go through the conveyer belt. It’s a big hit with the kids. The donuts were out of this world. It’s my guilty pleasure. The employees were great and very patient. It’s a must if vacationing in North Myrtle Beach.

Hot off the frier and my donut was not cooked all the way through. Not good. So far two out of a dozen were undercooked. Six more to go tomorrow… As for taste it was okay. Nothing negative or positive to say about a donut. Oh, yes. It’s fried. That’s a positive.

Absolutely delicious donuts! I highly recommending going when the hot light is on and getting a dozen glazed right off the cooker! The cinnamon bun flavor is good too, friendly service, but the line is normally out the door and the drive thru is always packed at night.

The great thing about a chain is that you know what to expect. Things are never great, but they’re also generally never awful. Usually. I’m fairly certain that re-using coffee grinds is a cardinal sin, but that’s what they were doing here when I stopped by. It was impressive that they managed to make coffee taste so bad. I don’t understand the Krispy Kreme obsession — to me it just tastes like sugar coated blandness, but whatever. That’s a thing people like. But no one likes twice-brewed coffee. Fun fact: they had a bunch of milk cartons lined up on the counter, aka not being refrigerated, while I ate my donuts and caught up with my work emails. Whoever drank those must have been unhappy later.

Didn’t think it was possible to get a bad KK doughnut. Ordered 1 dozen. ½ chocolate iced and ½ glazed chocolate cake. I can’t imagine how the doughnuts could taste somold… but they did. Chocolate icing missing in areas. Very cold as if they had been refrigerated. Didn’t open box until we were back at hotel 4 mikes away. Really should have taken them back. Worst KK donut I have ever had. Threw them out. $ 9 wasted.

Great KK location. Everyone is always friendly and the doughnuts are fresh. Better than the average KK location.

KK is my doughnut of choice. I went here mid-day and after 9PM on two different days and had vastly different experiences. Mid-day, hot light wasn’t on, doughnuts were yummy as always(they had the rare sour cream glazed cake one!) No wait, no issues. At night when the red light is burning bright, this place is poppin’, so don’t expect a quick trip. The service was great considering the length of lines inside and at the drive-thru, and the rudeness of many(drunk/distracted) customers. The doughnuts are always tops.

Try the doughnuts, they are pretty good –_– Seriously though, definitely stop by if you see the hot light on… So worth it… You’ll hate yourself, but soooooooo worth it.

I LOVETHISPLACE! That was the inner child coming out. We hit this place every weekend. It does get a little dirty late in the morning after it has been busy for a few hours. The kids love to watch them make the goods through the glass. Coffee is also good. The alien work program staff are sometimes difficult to understand. Be warned, this place does get hot inside during the hot summer months. I mean like pushing 90 degrees inside kind of hot.

I’m a long-time fan of this KK store. Availability has been an issue a couple of times(I like the odd glazed sour cream doughnut) but otherwise this place is a family tradition for us. Red light or not, we’re stopping. Always clean, always friendly staff and quick service.

Horrible… I love KK but this location was really bad. The doughnuts were really small even by Krispy Kreme standards. They were not even close to being fresh and the selection was horrible. The staff was also rude. The KK doughnuts in the local stores looked better than here.

Brought my daughter here for her first hot doughnut experience. She loved it. We both got a hot glazed doughnut and I got a coffee. The coffee was good– the doughnut was great. I have yet to find a KK that doesn’t have a great glazed doughnut.

Can get your glazed doughnuts fresh from the line or other flavors from under glass. Fresh is best! Too bad they don’t take American Express. They lost a star for that.

What is better than a hot Krispy Kreme doughnut? Why, a hot Krispy Kreme doughnut at the beach, that’s what! This place is crowded when the sign is on, but the staff is used to it and handles the influx well. This shop has the big doughnut machine visible through big plate glass windows — my 5-year-old loved it! The doughnuts were as good as always — we got two dozen for our group for the week at the beach, and they didn’t make it more than a few days! We try to make it every year.
