It’s unfortunate people have had bad experiences at this salon, as it can happen anywhere, because I’ve been going here for 4 years and have had all great experiences. I felt my original stylist, Rachel, genuinely cared about my experience and worked with me every appointment to achieve what I was going for. You can’t work miracles with hair, everyone’s hair is different, but when I brought in a celebrity photo/​reference she did the best anyone could to mimic the color/​style.
Sadly, she left without forwarding any contact information, so I tried a new stylist Emily. And she does pretty much exactly what Rachel had done for me. I’ve been to dozens of hair stylists in my life, and I’ve never felt so pleased with any of them til I’ve gone to this place.
The pricing is fair for the most part, and the salon is always clean. They offer beverages while you wait and everyone is very friendly. I’ve seen children, men and women of all ages get their hair serviced there. I’m happy to have been recommended it!

Best experience so far… Megan did a fab job, the haircut was just what I wanted. She was very attentive and listened to me throughout as to how I wanted my hair to be… and also gave me some great tips on styling.

I wish I could post a picture of my hair to go along with this review but unfortunately I cannot. The back of my hair looks fine but my bangs look like a drunk person cut them. They are completely uneven and lopsided, and have a notch cut into them on one side. I came into the salon with bangs that needed to be trimmed and shaped but left looking like I had Jim Carey’s dumb and dumber bowl cut on one half and a slope of longer bangs on the other side. This was after she tried to fix it. I’m now waiting for my bangs to grow out so I can have them fixed, since they can’t be cut any shorter on the one side. I wish my hairdresser would have just told me she was not experienced with cutting bangs and got someone else to do it, or atleast admitted to her mistake. I really hope they grow out before Christmas!

My wife had her hair done here and the stylist blew dry her curly hair with a flat brush. It ended up a fizzy mess. I understand from her all stylists should know to do a blow out with a round brush to prevent this. Somehow, the master stylist here did not know that and when asked still did not did not use the right brush. What a waste.

Get your hair done by Heaven :) I had a groupon for haircut, color, conditioning treatment, & finish for 59.00 plus I wanted my ombré redone. At first the receptionist told me it would cost 25.00 extra, which I was fine with, but it ended up not being the case. It was a pleasant surprise. Heaven was great. She listened to what I wanted & she was definitely easy to chit chat with while she was doing my hair. I used to go to Studio Palmieri downtown, but my stylist moved away. I am glad I decided to try 1 of their salons again. I feel they just know how to train their staff & have a good eye for talent!

I wish I could offer a review of my experience at this salon, but I was denied that experience. I recently made an appointment here after purchasing a Groupon for a haircut, single-​color process, conditioning treatment and style. Unfortunately, when I arrived for my appointment, I was told that the stylist, Courtney, was running «a half an hour to an hour or more behind» because she was doing partial highlights on someone, and did I want to reschedule?
Are you kidding me? After I drove a half an hour to the salon on my only day off? No. Is there a reason why this stylist didn’t realize a little earlier that she was running so far behind? Could the salon really have not called me earlier to cancel the appointment – say, before I rearranged my whole Sunday around it?
I sent the salon manager a note of disappointment … and did not receive a response.
So after deciding not to give this business my hard-​earned money, I contacted Groupon, and they immediately apologized and issued me a refund.
Something also needs to be said about the salon’s communication … upon making an appointment, I was immediately entered into their database, which means I received at least 3 e-​mail reminders, two texts and one phone call the day before the appointment– all to confirm an appointment the salon canceled. Can you say overkill?
This would have been my first experience at Dino Palmieri. Needless to say, it didn’t make the greatest first impression, and I doubt I’d ever give it another chance.

I came in Sunday after having my hair BUTCHERED at a boutique salon in Lakewood the day prior. Not only did the stylist I had listen to what I was saying (decode it at times when I wasn’t using the right words that stylists understand), but she took a few minutes to look at some photos so that I could show her what I really had wanted. She explained what she thought we could do to cover up the botched hair cut and then colored my hair to lighten the botched color. When she was blow drying my hair, three people commented on how great the color looked. She took time to show me how to blow dry the style (it is new to me) and I was given a compliment a day later that this is the best hair style my male friend had ever seen me with!
Now, mind you, this is not going to cost $ 20 like the cheap places, but it is worth the extra to look like you’re walking out of Hollywood. And it was more expensive at the boutique in Lakewood that botched my hair — badly.

Worth every penny! It might be a little bit more than what some would pay anywhere else, but the service is amazing and the outcomes always top notch. I get up-do’s here for weddings as well as my cut and color — and I’ve never been disappointed!

I have always had a great experience here. It is pricier than Best Cuts, but quality counts!
The stylists are knowledgeable and talented. I see women of all ages here, but they all look stylish.
