Oyster Bar At Marina Bay

In addition to the fresh oysters, we also went on a quiet night, perfect weather for sitting outside on the marina. The service wasn’t anything to brag about, but it wasn’t a complaint since we were able to enjoy the beautiful night.
We also ordered a round of oyster shooters which were pretty much bloody marys with oysters on the bottom. perfect combo! i can’t wait for the warmer months to take advantage of this spot more often.

I love this place! I went on a Saturday night with some friends. The mixed drink list has a lot of options and I did try one which was deceptively delicious. As in it was all alcohol but I couldn’t taste it. Then we ordered a dozen oysters which were delicious. My companions ordered fries and some sandwich while I ordered the fish tacos. They were really good. They have a rotating list of bands and DJs it seems and that night there was a band who played some popular current and older songs that had everyone on the floor constantly. It’s right on the water and the weather was perfect. Service was very good. Definitely going back here again!

This place is great! On top of the wonderful staff, delicious assortment of oysters, and tasty drinks. The view is AMAZING! By the way Shout out to the OB Shuckers for all there hard work!

There was 6 of us that went there after a day of boating. Service was horrible and the food was worse. Mussels were fishy almost bad sent them back along with the under cooked calamari. Good for drinks only if you can get the waitresses attention.

I uploaded a few pictures of the view of The Oyster Bar @ Marina Bay in Quincy, MA. We went on a Thursday, where they have a Buck a Shuck. We ordered 2 dozens of oysters. They have Watch Hill Oysters in Westerly, RI and Malpeque oysters, Prince Edward Island. Both are fresh.
We got the corner table with the view facing North and East. Perfect to chill out with a nice breeze while watching the changing colors of the sky around sunset hour.
Drinks a little pricey, but was expected for Marina Bay. $ 8 for a house Sangria, $ 5 for Harpoon IPA.
Service is good on a not crowded day.
As it said, it’s a bar, there is no dinner menu, but you can order stuff like Fish & chips, chicken sandwich, etc… believe the they were from kitchen next door: p

went on 4^th of july weekend…@ night.10 dollar cover… there was a raggae band. a great oyster selection very fresh. the shucker had no problem showing me the oyster bag tags. incredible venue. food was great …beer was freezing cold .a huge liquer selection. owners were on hand asking everyone if everything was ok… it was really great…5 stars

Had dinner here last night for the first time. Didn’t even know it was here — but apparently it just opened a couple weeks ago. Place was kinda quiet, but it was Tuesday night, it’s a bit off the beaten path (not along the main boardwalk with all the other restaurants at MB), and it’s only been open a couple weeks.
It has the best views of any of the MB restaurants, as it sits out on a pier that extends into the boat slip area. The sunset view was awesome.
Had a cheeseburger and fries. Portions were generous and reasonably priced considering the awesome location and views. They have a full liquor license. The 2 HD TV’s over the bar were both tuned to the Red Sox vs Yankees game.
Definitely planning to make this a regular spot on my summer dining plans!

So this is what a lobster roll is! This is one of the better place, best bang for your buck! Total with tip came out to $ 17 for a lobster and a bag of UTZ chips. It’s expensive but heck it’s lobster. You gotta be balla to eat lobster. Too bad I’m not really big on lobster. (Although I won the spelling bee by spelling l-​o-​b-​s-​t-​e-​r) $ 17 is actually rather cheaper as opposed to $ 25 at most other places. The lobster roll is a pretty delicious sandwich, I’d wish they’d go lighter on the mayo, but otherwise pretty good sandwich.
