Friendly Paws

Barry at Friendly Paws runs a great doggy daycare program. He picked my dog up every day at my home and dropped him off faithfully. My dog loved the companionship of Barry, his team, and the other dogs at Friendly Paws. It is a great place and it made me feel great that my dog was happy and well cared for while I was at work. Barry also groomed my dog while he was at doggy daycare. I highly recommend Friendly Paws!

I’ve been bringing my two dogs here for several years, both for grooming and for boarding. They do a solid job in grooming, we are generally pleased with the results. Not the most organized operation, but the results are good and the dogs are happy, and that is what really counts (at least for me). In terms of boarding, my dogs love it there. They have spent many a night there and are always happy when we drop them off and then again when we pick them up. It’s a great feeling to know that your animals are bring well taken care of.

Several days before our vacation we made arrangements for our dogs to be picked up and boarded for 3 nights. Before we left in the morning we called to verify that the dogs would be picked up shortly and were assured that they would be. 12 hours later a neighbor notified us that our dogs were in our home, baking and the temperature was 85 degrees! At no time did anyone call us from Friendly Paws and say they could not board the dogs for the 3 nights that we had agreed upon, nor did we receive any call to tell us the dogs were in our home. When we called the owner to figure out what was going on, he simply kept repeating «The dogs are all right»
By this time it was 11 PM at night and, thankfully, we were able to locate another caregiver to rescue our dogs and keep them for the remaining days. I reported this business to Animal Cruelty for leaving the dogs in a 85 degree house for who knows how many hours.

We took our dog here a few times and always left pleased. They are average price and easy to schedule with. Two of my friends go here too and have been for years!

My little 3 pound teacup Yorkie is a regular at Friendly Paws. We utilize their daycare and their grooming services and have so for the last two years. Friendly Paws is by far the best pet care facility I have ever taken my baby to. Not only are they great with your pet but they are extremely convenient because of the pick up and drop off service. My pet will continue to visit Friendly Paws because they truly care about the well-​being of their four-​legged customers.

Has anyone noticed the 2 reviews are from 3 years ago ??? I posted a review that was negative twice and it keeps getting removed… Whats the purpose of Unilocal if you only see positive reviews ???

This is not a competing business just a very very unhappy customer. So much so that I wouldn’t write a review for anything but there is always a line that shouldn’t get crossed when owning a business. I brought my dog and was told pick her up on monday at 12 like I have done 4 times before. 11:40 am I went to pick my dog up and no one was there so I called the number on the flyer and a lady answered and said someone will be there in a few minutes. After 25 min I called again and she put me on hold and then came back and said the person isn’t answering and will keep trying and let me know. After another 25 minutes I called again and she said the same thing. I then said call the owner its getting a little ridiculous, she said okay and 10 minutes later the owner called and said he was 10 minutes away. When he got there I was upset but didn’t show it. He said they do t do pick ups sunday or monday. I told he they lady on the phone told me too. He then said no they never do it. I told him i have been there 4 or 5 times always picking up on mondays at 12 and 2 of those times he released her to me. He just said no we don’t do that and said with an attitude next time call his cell number and was like take this. Already unhappy i said I’m all set but thank you. He then jump to an extreme and said «so what your not coming back?, fine pay $ 35 elsewhere i don’t care, leave. Give me $ 69 dollars» and then went to the back to get my dog slamming and swearing. When he came out i gave him the money and took my dog then asked about the bedding. He slammed the door to the back, got it and threw it at me. Know I wasn’t coming back i just said thank you have a good one. When i opened the door to leave he said «so your really not coming back here?» I said i don’t think so and then he replied with «fine get the fuck out, skat, leave, i don’t want to see you.» If in the beginning he just said sorry you waited a hour and 20 minutes, it won’t happen again, sorry for the misunderstanding, I would have said okay not a problem and came back. Thats a bad business owner and if they reject and treat paying customers that way, how do they not treat dogs that way. He comes off as a nice guy and meaning well but I assure you that is not the case. I wouldn’t leave my dog there for free now and i’d much rather pay $ 10 extra and know what that she is in good hands. Please consider elsewhere for your dog for you and your dogs sake.

It was my first visit to Friendly Paws today with my Yorkie. Erin was the groomer and she did exactly what I asked for. I would highly recommend Erin.

I just had my two golden’s dropped off and they did a fantastic job!!! The number 1 reason why I first tried friendly paws is because I have two kids and two dogs and it’s a real chore to get them all in a car drive them to a groomers and them have to pick them up !!! I was so excited to have the option of pic up and a drop off !!! This is my 2 nd time using them and both times the people were so nice and my dogs looked fantastic !!! Will definitely go again!

I took my very anxious golden there today. She came out fluffy and happy. They quickly figured out her needs, she is very difficult when she is nervous. The store is very clean, did not have the «dog» smell and the staff could not have been nicer. I will definitely go back. Price is fair and they were happy to work with my challenging pet.

My dog has been in their day care program for the past 3 months and he absolutely loves going there. The staff is wonderful; always friendly and accommodating to my varying work schedule. I know my dog is being well cared for and I can tell the staff truly enjoys having him.

I took my happy, yellow lab here a few days ago for a much needed grooming treatment last week. We walked over and the groomer was extremely friendly. I was told that my dog would be ready in two hours. Two hours later they called and when I went back and my dog was groomed nicely (he even had a new, festive bandanna). The store also had some very cute merchandise for small dogs. Maybe they will get some merchandise for those of us with large lap dogs.
