History

Established in 1927.

Service Pumping & Drain Co., Inc. was originally founded in 1927 in Wakefield, Massachusetts by the Hewitt family. Later, in 1972, Service Pumping & Drain was purchased by Dick Mottolo, who continues to operate the company as it is known today. At that time, Service Pumping & Drain consisted of only two employees and two pump trucks. Since then, the company has grown to include over 20 employees and a fleet of 20 service vehicles in order to best serve our clients.

In addition to providing pumping, draining and septic services, Service Pumping & Drain Co., Inc. also has its own waste water treatment facility Northeast Environmental Processing in Lawrence, MA where food and grease trap waste water is processed.

Service Pumping & Drain Co., Inc. is a family owned and operated business, ensuring that each client is provided with exceptional service. Service Pumping is large enough to serve all your needs, yet small enough to provide individualized attention to all of your needs.
