Love the park and the Ducks(btw DONOTGIVEDUCKSBREAD… pumpkin seeds or Other seeds only) and the turtles but the bathroom was disgusting which is a pain having little ones and needing to keep them full of water in this heat.

I always love this park. It’s a great place to walk your dog. I got married under the pavilion. Their is nice playground for the kids. Bring bread for the ducks.

Great park to go for a walk in. Not very big but it gets the job done. Now on the Fourth of July it fills with hundreds of people to watch fireworks, which is really cool! I would highly recommend doing that if you live in the area and have no plans.

I love this park. Ok well maybe I just have a fondness for it. Either way. I guess it was in the wee hours of the morning when I got bored, the roommate went to his room to sleep so I didn’t want to make a bunch of noise to keep him up. I walked from my apartment on Glenview Drive well about a mile and a half to the QT on the corner of Glenview and 377. It was still dark when I got there, but once I came out with my doughnut in hand, I wanted coffee, but only had a dollar on me. Lame I know, right. Anywho the sun was starting to rise and thank goodness because it’s a good half mile or more without a sidewalk and kinda scary, but being on foot for the most part of my life, I’ve learned to be fearless =) May have mentioned a couple times that I just moved here from Austin, so walking around is a good way for me to sight see. Now the park itself is just right across the street from my apartment complex. On my way back, since the sun was coming out, I was able to see the duck pond. Well I saw the ducks then I saw the pond. I was ready to go home, but I HAD to go see the ducks. I love ducks they are sooooo cute. There were big ones and little ones, White ones and black ones and brown ones I was in heaven. I also like the walking path they have there. I haven’t walked the whole thing. I only went to see the ducks, I didn’t know about all the other stuff there until I read the previous review. Sounds good to me. I know I’ll be back.

The more I check out parks in the Tarrant County area, the more I think that North Richland Hills has the right ideas about how to design a decent park for various uses. Linda Spurlock is a great example of a «City» like park. Instead of trying to please everyone by making an all-in-one location, it looks like they took a lot of consideration in mind and decided to opt-out of including sport areas.(though they do have a baseball backstop in one corner of the park) Is this a bad thing? Not at all. In return, you have a park that has beautiful rolling hills, a duck pond, two playground areas(combined), concrete walking trails and probably one of the best looking pavilions I’ve seen so far(with a double sized grill). It’s all well manicured /maintained and is something that I’m sure the area neighbors are proud to have in their own backyard. My only problem with the park is the parking. You’ll be parking on the side of the street, and the spaces are not clearly marked(I didn’t even see the spaces till I practically drove around the park). Thankfully, the park is a pretty good size, so I doubt that they every run out of spaces to park. So, if the weather is looking favorable, I can’t recommend this park enough.
