my 85 yr old mom was brought in for having problems breathing. her stay there was terrible. nurses have attitudes when you ask them a questions. like they dont want to be bothered. doctors never return phone calls. i felt lost. food was like prison food. i gave it one star for cleanliness. thats it! just because people are old doesnt mean you have to neglect them.

Went with my wife after she had a car accident. Tried my PCP but could not get in and she was in pain. Checked in in 2 minutes with the rude reception nurse. Waited 2 hours with the exact same people in the waiting room. They never took anyone back. I asked their apparent director what was happening and all he could say was bear with us it will be soon. We left and went to a stand alone er. We were in and out in 45 minutes. Luckily my wife only had a straied neck and back but i feel like we would stll be sitting at this place had we not decided to leave. I can’t figure out how to leave 0 stars so they get one.

I will never be going back here. They misdiagnosed my daughter then after I had a reaction to a shot refused to help. Then when I was called and asked about my experience revived further rude behaviour. I have never been so disrespected and disappointed in my life. Thankfully I went to another hospital which listened and helped me. Steer clear of this emergency department if you want to be heard and taken care of!!!

I’ve been there twice now. Once for myself and once for my husband. The staff has been nothing short of friendly and helpful. I wouldn’t hesitate to go there if I need to go to the ER again.

I had to go here to the ER for some abdominal issues. They took my to triage right away, and were very kind and professional. I had blood work and a CT scan. I was quickly diagosed and given prescriptions. The doctor, nurses, and radiology were all fantastic. I didn’t expect much from this small hospital, very glad to say I was wrong.

Went to emergency room when we walked in nurse was disrespectful to receptionist. She was actually yelling at her in front of everyone that was waiting. We should have walked out but needed help so we waited…2 hours later left with no service. we have great insurance and live in the neighborhood… Will never go back. Should have followed the previous reviews.

I’m a retired D.O. Family Practitioner who had a prostate TURP here August, 2015. The hospital is clean, the nurses and techs personable and not overworked. The food was pretty good (I even asked for seconds, since I missed a meal for surgery, and they brought it). The surgeon, what can I say, treated me, well, «like a surgeon». Spend as little time in hospitals as you can, but this is a good one.

The nurses were great and very professional and did what they could with what they were given to work with (which wasn’t much) but you would be better off going to the county hospital. (which is actually light years ahead in quality of care from this ER facility) The little twenty five year old doctor on duty. Wow. Just wow! Worst bedside manner I have ever experienced. Don’t expect any compassion from the emergency room staff at this hospital. Just a bad experience I would stay far away from the emergency room.

I have had a great stay here on the 6^th floor. My procedure went well from check in with Anita to the awesome staff on the 6^th floor. Lori, Susan and Tina were my nurses and all very caring and happy ladies! Thank you for making this «event» in my life not so tough… and I must say my doctor was great as well and very highly thought of here! Thanks Dr. Allen!

I recently went to the emergency room because my hands were going to sleep tingling. I went approximately 9:00 AM to North Hills Hospital in North Richland Hills, TX when I checked in to the emergency room after about 30 minutes of waiting. Then they took me back and put me in a room. When the doctor came in and asked me what was wrong, I told her my hands were going to sleep and it was tingling. After the preliminary questions and answering those questions, they ask what was my symptoms. If I have heart pain or headache or if anything else hurting on my body those kinds of questions. All the answers were no, I did not have any other pain, nor loss of memory; nothing. I wasn’t dizzy.
Then they proceeded to put me through all kinds of test that seemed to me at the time to be very excessive. They were putting me through a very rigorous number of test. I actually got very irritated because of all the test that they ran on me. I felt at the time they were doing a lot of unnecessary testing and I told them when I went into the emergency room that I think that I’m getting neuropathy and I would like to have it checked out. Which is when you can’t feel very well on your hands and feet.
Five hours later I’m handed a bill for $ 18,500 and some dollars. If I didn’t a bad heart, this is enough to give me a bad heart. I’m very upset that anyone would be treated the way I was treated and put through numerous of test that was uncalled for. I’m very upset. I walk out and left the hospital with a $ 47 prescription. And almost $ 20,000 later I go back to my home with my hands feeling the very same way with the prescription of drugs that didn’t help anything and was not even told what was wrong with me. I hope other people read this before they go to North Hills Hospital their emergency facility is a total rip off.

ER nurse supervisor was not in any way helpful but more condescending and argumentative. Almost like she hates her job or maybe where she works.

I visited the hospital this morning with acute vomiting and server abdominal pain. The nursing staff basically have me some fluids and zofram and sent me on my way. No doctor spoke with me once. No one have me any info and they made me walk out when i was dizzy and unsteady. This hospital is horrible!!!

Horrible experience. Who the fuck has to check into an emergency room when it’s a fucking emergency. Stupid as fuck.

Once again I visited NHH ER. This was a mistake. After waiting an hour on the floor and moaning in pain. A nurse finally came over and asked me to shut my mouth. Further during checking a nurse accused me of lying about my social security number. Stay away! Code red

Not a very good hospital. You are better going to HEB or Baylor. When I was visiting my father there one of the nurses told me she was sick, when I told her she needed to be home she said «yea right» generally understaffed. Most of the top doctors have moved to HEB. I have seen multipal bad experances here is my father insist on coming here, from waiting hours with out food to sick nurses coming to work. Avoid this hospital is my advise. Neighbors agree w/​me too…

It’s alright. ER gets a bit messy and takes a while for someone to clean it. Some RNs have an attitude. Maybe I just don’t like it as much cause I’m here so often with Grandpa and it’s a pain.

Awesome! Wait room time in the E. R was about 10 minutes. The total time there till the person was diagnosed and admitted 2 hrs. Would return back. Fast diagnosis and caring nurses and doctors with great attitudes. They actually looked like they wanted to be there…

This hospital is horrible.
No bedside manor whatsoever.
Waited 12hrs for a surgeon to perform a 20min surgery.
Had the same nurse come into the room and ask the same 50 questions over and over.
Guess they were waiting for his appendix to burst so it would cost more. Smh.

After spending 2 hours at carenow trying to determine the cause of a bacterial infection with severe abdominal pain, the Dr sent me to the EROS at North Hills. They called ahead to the hospital so they would be expecting me and lessen my potential wait time. The Dr wrote down his suspected diagnosis and ordered a CT scan. He suspected an ovarian cyst that may have ruptured.
I check in at the ER, registered all the billing info, spoke briefly to the triage nurse walking around the waiting room and was moved to a triage room after about an hour and a half of waiting. Accompaning the abdominal pain, was a severe, light sensitive headache. There were about 3 different nurses in and out, taking blood, testing urine, and assessing pain. One in particular was pathetic… she would flick on the lights without apology or warning, knowing my headache was severe and the light made it worse. She gave me a push of benadryl without warning and about knocked me out and then came back 5 min later w a litre bottle of contrast to drink in preparation for three CT scan and advised to drink a fourth every 15 min over the next hour. That was pure torture to try and stay awake through that benadryl to drink that mess. How stupid was that? Finally I had the scan and they diagnosed me with diverticulosis in the sigmoid colon. Gave me antibiotics, instuctions and sent me home.
2 weeks later I ended back up at carenow w same symptoms, they sent me for another CT scan at an outpatient radiology clinic. Guess what? Large cyst on ovary, North Hills misdiagnosed me and prolonged a needed surgery and caused a lot of unnecessary additional medical bills.
I would not recommend any treatment or care from this facility.
