Great service. Went with my friend Friday night for some drinks and appetizers. Bartender super friendly and fast. Family friendly but still a fun place to hang out

Went to watch a Hawks game and have some beers with friends. The bartender recommended the jalapeño poppers and my fiancé thought they were delicious. I love that they have weekly specials on all drinks! We will definitely be attending more. Service was good and owner was very friendly and made sure we were always taken care of.

II tried the spaghetti with marinara. I actually asked if I could get pasta with garlic and oil but the server/bartender said he couldn’t make that happed so I probably won’t be returning here.

Great pizza… but have a great menu selection to satisfy any pallet. Other items include jalapeño poppers, wings, calamari, home made cut fries and awesome burgers! Bar is not typical for a pizza pub — check out specialty mixed drinks/top shelf liquor along with great beer selections. Chris the owner takes great pride to ensure all his customers are happy!!!

The day started with a trip to Costco, a big mistake when your hungry. After working up an appetite shopping we decided to try some place new in the area. A search on Unilocal for trendy restaurants that were close, revealed this little gem. The place is located in a little strip type mall where parking is limited to about 12 spots. I believe there is additional parking on the adjacent side street which should be very adequate. Upon entering you appreciate the large full bank of windows letting in a ton of sunshine, the numerous TV’s mounted, and the exposed brick walls. Seated ourselves and were quickly greeted by Mario who was doing double duty as the bartender and waiter. Mario brought drinks out promptly and made some small talk. The owner(Chris) who was overseeing the operation himself and busing tables stopped by to see if we needed anything. The service and attention from the staff was outstanding. We ordered the grilled wings which were huge and delicious. The Veggie side was amazing, super well seasoned mix of fresh greens and mushrooms with Greek olive oil and Greek wine. The grilled calamari over greens was very good, flavorful and not rubbery as when over cooked. The local craft beer on tap was a special and only 2.50 which was an added bonus. This place was a huge surprise for a Sports type bar and grill, gourmet type food and dedicated owner and staff. The one disappointment was the pizza. The ingredients are all fresh and didn’t appear to be anything canned or frozen with excellent fresh cheese. The crust appeared to be a pre made store bought and the sauce was lacking of any seasoning or flavor. DONOT let my opinion of the pizza flavor stop you from trying this place, because the ingredients were still quality and the over all experience was fantastic.

Went to here on New Year’s eve, they had great ambience and the pizza was absolutely delicious. I believe it was the chef that came up to us to let us know the pizza was soon to come out, and he was right. It came out nice hot and delicious.

A great place all around. The food is great. quality and great portions. The feel and décor of the place is outstanding. clean, sharp and welcoming. The owners and staff are also very nice and I always feel welcome and wanted. I would recommend the pizza, any of the sandwiches, and the specials are awesome. Finally, the beer selection is TOP of the line and they have a huge selection. Give this place a try. I strongly recommend it!

We ordered a sausage and veggie pizza(green peppers, onions and mushrooms). Was VERY impressed with the fresh ingredients and pleasantly surprised by it’s supreme quality!!! Even my picky toddler ate the pizza with ingredients on top! Will definitely be ordering from here again. And would like to try out more on the menu! A great neighborhood place!!!

I went in and order the grilled wings a week ago. They were great. Today, November 21st, my husband ordered the same wings and they were horrible. I don’t know what happened but it wasn’t the same. I bragged to my husband how great they were and he bought these home and I was not expecting this.

I don’t care what anyone says about this place… You cannot beat their specials, especially for game days. On top of that, their food is delicious. I’ve brought so many of my friends here and everyone loves the food and cheap drinks. The staff is amazing and makes you feel at home.

After a slight error on their part, they went above and beyond to fix their mistake. Was impressed with their sincerity. Inside was nice and clean if not a little too trendy for my taste. The 21+ adult gaming section was cute but somewhat out of place. The pizza itself was adequate. Regular decent Pizza. Nothing to write home about but no where near bad. Was just a generic middle of the line pizza. I enjoyed it but I didn’t really love it. Had worst pizza I suppose. What really impressed me was there customer service. Hope they have success in their business.

Stopped in for a nightcap after an event and was very pleased with not only their beer selections but their drink list showed great creativity. The«GreenTea» shots were exceptional! I didn’t eat so if I eat there soon, I may be bumping up my rating. I was very pleased with the staff as well. Great job Chris!

Hello, you had me at the lobster grilled cheese but then you had a to be a bad boy and entice me with your JUMBO wings and then you made me into a slut with your Sicilian style pizza. Hell yeah! This is a great litte pub in North Riverside. Small menu but everything on it is legit. I so do not get the poor reviews. NR needed a place like this. Hubs and I met another couple her and all of us agreed that the ambience, food, drinks, and price were spot on! We’ll be back… often I say!

CONS Waitstaff does not give you a fresh glass when you order another beer, instead you are left with your previous glass. Waitstaff does not come by to clear your table, I had 3 empty beers and plates left on my table. Training is needed! Waitstaff rarely came by to see how things are going Also there were 2 flies in the place Bottled beer needs to be much colder PROS Staff is nice, owner does come by to see how things are going Food is good I had the Garlic Stickers(pita bread slices and garlic humus) and the Pizza with Italian beef and peppers was great Multiple televisions and will put whatever on for you Crowd is nice and ranges from families, couples, and groups of people at the bar.

In an attempt to keep things local, we decided to try the newish pizza place that had opened down the street despite some less than stellar reviews. When we arrived, the only people in the restaurant at 7pm on a Sunday were staff. For the hour we were there, only one other couple entered or left the restaurant. The restaurant was pretty much dead. The waitress/bartender seemed a bit inexperienced in pouring drafts as my boyfriend’s beer was overly heady.(I think that is the right word but I’m a beer novice. Either way, half his glass was foam and I watched her dump it twice before bringing it to the table) She was also unsure of the drink specials and what was included but was happy to find out the answers and help us. We kept our order basic and stuck to a pizza. We tend to have standard pizza orders to judge new places on a.k.a our favorite toppings. He does his half, I do mine and we each judge on our own tastes. The crust was very bland and flavorless. There was almost no season to the pizza itself. I actually at one point asked my boyfriend if there was sauce on it. It almost like just tasting melted cheese. I really hope they work out the kinks of their recipe and market themselves better. Unfortunately, at this point I can’t see us returning for anything other than drinks.

A definite disappointment. The best thing I can say is they had a good beer selection. We were really hoping for a great place we could walk to, but we weren’t impressed by their overpriced pizza at all. We tried them out when they’d been open just a week or two. They don’t have any«set» pizzas, it’s basically a la carte. We ordered our pizza with feta, olives and something else, I can’t even remember — probably spinach or garlic. Thinking we’d have some to take home, we ordered their largest size. When we ordered, we were informed that since we ordered feta, there would be no mozzarella. So I’m paying $ 4 for feta, but then I don’t get mozzarella? We reluctantly agreed. The pizza came fairly quickly(there was only one other table of people and a couple people at the bar on a weekend night). The crust was thin and didn’t have much taste, the pizza sauce just tasted like tomato paste. There just wasn’t much substance to the pizza. Despite that fact that neither of us loved it, we managed to eat their largest pizza and still not be stuffed. Eating an entire pizza is unusual for us. We had three beers and the pizza and it was $ 56 dollars! WAYWAY too much money for what we got. The space could be nice but it seems it’s trying to be a cross between a restaurant and a sports bar. From where I was sitting I could see three different games on the TVs and couldn’t figure out which game the sound(which was turned up far too loudly for an empty place) was coming from. One thing I could not see from where I was sitting, was the beer list. Nothing was printed, it’s only on a chalkboard over the bar, so when I wanted to see the menu, I had to walk across the bar. Kind of annoying. The service started out ok, but by the end we were waiting quite a long time for our check, then for our credit card to come back. I hope they can work on their issues. They definitely need to either bring down the price on the pizza or bring up the quality, or both.

Change the pizza please!!! Like other reviewers have said it tastes like a frozen pizza. The crust is as thin as it can get and the flavor is lacking. I am a pizza nut and am not picky when it comes to my favorite pie but I would not try it again unless there is a change. The staff was mediocre but at least the owner came up to us and asked how it was. I gave him my opinion(he took it well) and he said to try the wings. Maybe next time I will but I want some good pizza or maybe add a good breadstick dish.(I use to get Dr. Sticks at the place that was at this location before and REALLY miss it) I live right down the road and had high hopes for this place. I won’t count this place out but the pizza needs some work. I’ll end up trying it again in a couple of months. Hope it works out. PS– Bring the price of beer down or at least have some good specials and it will be my go to place for weekends. Being right down the road I would highly appreciate it. Again, good luck. I really do hope you make it.

SPACE. We stopped in for dinner here last night, hoping it might be a winner since we live so close. The place is small, but they’ve maximized the space well. There are plenty of TVs to watch games from any angle of the restaurant. Décor is simple but pleasant. The lighting is very nice. Overall, I like the ambiance. FOOD. The menu is limited to just a few things in each category, which I assumed meant that they are focused on doing just a few things well. We started with jalapeño poppers, which the hubby always likes to sample when it’s on a menu. They came wrapped in bacon, whole, with cream cheese tucked inside. They seemed to be oven baked, not fried. Points for the departure from the standard popper. Our bartender/server described them as not that hot/spicy. Unfortunately for me, I only had one bite — too spicy with that lingering burn. Perhaps more seeds should be discarded? Hubby ate three of the four on the plate, sweating through them. He liked them but they were too hot. The one plus was the value received. They were hearty in size. Hubby also had a draft beer that he said didn’t taste quite right. Something was«off» about it, so he opted for his second drink in a more reliable bottle. We also ordered the pizza, with pepperoni, onion, garlic and Roma tomatoes. We both liked the crispy cracker crust, but couldn’t find any flavor in the cheese/sauce. Not kidding. No flavor. No herbs/spices. Thankfully I was able to save some bites with the pepperoni, but I also had to rely on dumping a ton of Parmesan cheese on it to get through. I would enjoy a good frozen pizza over this, so even though I finished I was quite disappointed — which really shouldn’t happen when they highlight pizza in their name. SERVICE. Our server didn’t wow us either. When it came time for the bill, she dropped it off and then disappeared for over ten minutes, within full view of us, chatting with the manager and staff and then focusing on choosing a bunch of songs from the jukebox. Finally we flagged down a different server to have her ring us up. We gave the server 20 percent, but she didn’t earn it in full. 40.00 plus tax made me think of the sushi we could have eaten at our go-to spot in LaGrange. SUMMARY. IMHO this place has a way to go before it is in the clear as a long-term fixture in the neighborhood. If it remains the same, I give it 6 months before people realize that it is really just a bar trying to masquerade as something else.

Great beer selection, warm and inviting place. We came in tonight as a group of 5, including two toddlers. Even though it was a Saturday night, everyone from the wait staff to the owner himself was very attentive and accommodating. When one picky kid wasn’t eating the pizza, the owner made him a special small cheese pizza to try. The pizza we had was on a thin whole wheat crust, with fresh mozzarella, basil and tomatoes. Very tasty, not greasy or too filling. The beer list was good and the Bulls game was on. We will definitely be coming back!
