One of my favorite quotes was by a man named Viktor Frankl. He said, «Between stimulus and response there is a space. In that space is our power to choose our response. In our response lies our growth and our freedom.» Though there are many items that contribute to our growth and our freedom, I love that we as people have been given the ability to make choices every day. One of the parts of being a therapist that I love the most is being able to walk alongside people as they make choices, learn, unlearn, grow, heal, and find freedom. It truly is an honor to form relationships, laugh, cry, be angry, and be creative as we explore health, healing, and hope together.
