History

Established in 1988.

I have been boating all my life. Attended Massachusetts Maritime Academy graduating in 1981. Since then, practicing marine surveying and consulting. Hung up my shingle as a surveyor to the general public in 1988 after achieving a USCG Master Unlimited Tonnage License and Junior Engineers Endorsement. Currently Vice Chair of the Massachusetts Bay Harbor Safety Committee, a member of the Navigation Safety Advisory Committee in D.C. and a member of the USCG AUX which keeps me interested and knowledgeable about the boating industry and safety. I am a member of numerous maritime organizations, associations, and programs, example: (ABYC Technician, NFPA, USCG CG AUX)

Since I live on the water, I see a lot of boaters enjoy boating. Some not so much because they have a boat that is in need of assistance /​repair /​understanding. It is very hard to find someone who will take an interest in one boat. I do. People say I go out of my way to make boating a fun and great experience.
