I have gone to TC nails many times and I will no longer return. I handed them my debit card to pay for my $ 65 purchase and they swiped it twice, and told me it had been declined. I read the receipt and it said«invalid card,» so my card wasn’t declined. I handed them a second card because I just wanted to leave and it went through immediately. When I got in my car, I immediately checked my account balance to make sure nothing was wrong with my debit card, and sure enough, I had a charge on both of the cards I had given them. So, I went back in to resolve the issue and they gave me attitude, told me the card had been declined and there was no way that I could have been charged twice. Finally, they called the«manager» and he argued with me after I had been forced to speak with him myself on the phone, since the two people I was dealing with couldn’t properly explain the issue. I left him with my phone number and name and he called me to tell me the transaction had been voided the next day. The next day I checked, and the transaction had NOT been voided. In the meantime, my nails started to chip after only ONE day. I got gel polish, which is certain to last about two weeks. When I called to tell them I was coming in to get them fixed he told me there wasn’t any certainty they would do it for free, since my nails might be «too soft» for gel and I might need to take a break. I agreed, and showed up for my appointment. I showed the«manager» my nails and he sent me to another woman who looked at my nails as well and they decided my nails were not«too soft» for gel. So, they told me I had to use the same color if I wanted them fixed for free. I asked if they thought the issue was the polish, and they said no. My guess, was it was the polish since this had never happened before. So, I picked the same color and sat down with a woman(I think the owner) who started buffing my nails. A minute later, the original woman who did my nails came out and started grabbing my fingers in a rude way and started speaking angrily in her foreign language. Next, they had me move to the original lady who messed up my nails and she was not being very nice and was clearly very mad. She called the«manager» over and started angrily speaking in her foreign language. I asked what the problem was and he said«your nails are too short.» I do have short nails, but I’m 27 and I’ve been getting my nails done for as long as I can remember and I’ve always had this length, but never was I blamed for the salons mishaps. Eventually, after feeling like I was the bad guy for about 10 minutes, I stormed out and told them I was taking my business elsewhere. Now, I have to contact my credit card company to argue the TWO charges on my cards and I will never be returning to TC Nails.

I just moved into the area 3 weeks ago and needed to have a pink & white fill done. I read the reviews on this place and was going to steer clear of it, but when I asked a neighbor where they go, they said this place and she also said they do a good job. So, I gave it a shot and went this morning. They were very courteous and attentive. The nail technician was very meticulous and did a great job — gave me exactly what I asked for with regards to shape and length. My only negative is that they are higher priced than where I used to go in the Los Angeles, CA area. But, I will go back due to the convenience and knowing that they do a good job and do what you ask without question.

This is a great salon. The owners are on site each day. The staff are polite, do a great job, and the facility is clean, clean, clean. They are very talented also. I have no ideas about the other comments — I’ve been here for years, and never had a complaint! Great salon, staff make you feel special, great results.

The choices for nail salons in this area are limited so in a pinch this place will do. But it’s just ok. The fumes are bad; the polish selection is limited and some bottles seem old/in need of replacement; they encourage walk ins but push appointments so even when it seems slow you might have to wait. With that said, they do a decent enough job and they are very nice. So if you really need a mani-pedi, it’s fine.

Beware, this salon isn’t fit to operate. I went in for a simple fill and came out a mere 2 hours later with 4 deeply cut cuticles. Not only was I late for dinner, but my bloody fingers weren’t exactly encouraging anyone’s appetite. A few days later one of my fingers is still red and swollen and seems infected. Stay away if you value your time and appendages.

Got a gift certificate for my birthday… came out on a Sunday morning to use it(really needed it)…have been here before and had good service, but today was not one of those days. While I was waiting someone called to make an appointment. When she arrived for her appointment, I still hadn’t been seen yet. As I wait, there’s also one other person who was here when I got here and hasn’t been seen. As I write this, the person who called to make the appointment got seen before me, so I guess I should have made an appointment? It hardly feels like«pampering» if people who come in after you get seen first. I complained to one of the women… she said I «couldn’t complain». My complaint was NOT that they were busy. I understand places get busy. My complaint is the shoddy service, unequal treatment, and the excuse that the woman who made an appointment while I was sitting there was seen first. They should have made her appointment later. If you can get seen, this place isn’t bad, but ignore the sign that says«walk-ins» and make an appointment or go someplace else. The guy here doesn’t seem to manage it well. Bummer.
