So I wanted to try and give back locally and I called to make an appointment. A 9am appointment on a Saturday– well I can’t mention how great or not great she did with my dog because the store never opened and I even called to see if anything happened– no return call– if your going g to run a business at least have a good work ethic —
So I wanted to update my review. Owner called me (several hours after my appointment) the employee never showed for work who was to bathe my dog and open the shop. Luckily I had time and was able to come in immediately. Dog was bathed nails were done and she even cut me a break on the cost– looks like I will return with my pug for his next bath.

The owner got back to me regarding my last post and stated my claims never happened and that there are cameras ²⁴⁄₇. I will not list the dogs name here, however if anyone has a small white dog you are concerned about, I can give you the date, time, length of time you were a client, and where you said you were going when you dropped off the dog, as well as verify your dogs name. My only regret is not trying to catch up with the dog’s owner when she left a few minutes before me. During my visit, I was told by the owner, that if a dog runs for the door when they come into the groomers place, there is a reason for it, yet every dog entering there ran for the door the minute they entered. I have no idea why the owner would state none of this happened. I get it that this is their business, and they, understandably, do not want or need any negativity. With that said, what purpose would I have to lie about all this? I guess I’m also lying when I say that they charge a lower rate if cash is paid, which isn’t a very good business practice. One last example I have, which I’m sure I’ll be told this didn’t happen either, is that my sister went there once and took her pitty for a nail trim. They only use a dremmel, which terrified her dog. Instead of telling my sister that he was too terrified and perhaps they shouldn’t do it, two people forced him down on the floor and held him while he struggled and threw a fit. Obviously, I will not use this groomer again. I’m thankful for a site like this which allows people to express their experiences.

Went here to get my dogs nails trimmed, I called ahead and their price was cheaper the the pet chain stores grooming. Didn’t need an appointment, I got there and it’s a small place but it was dark and smelled of cigarettes. Not very professional looking. They had me sit in a chair and hold my dog while they dremeled/​grind down his nails. The dust from the dremeling was flying into the air into my face. Most places have more than one person working or a table they put the dogs on and groom them. I won’t come here again. I’d rather pay a little more and go to Petsmart.
