I ate here with my family on the way to New Hampshire. The hamburger-topped pizza my son ordered tasted weird, he said, but after the hour-long wait to be served he ate it anyway. About an hour and a half later it all came up again, in the car, in a most violent manner. My son, the luggage, and the car were all covered. It was a miserable experience and we will never dine at this restaurant again.

This has been our go-to place for pizza/flatbread in Northampton since we moved here last fall. Love the choices, especially the selection of white pizzas and we have had good service every time we’ve been there.

We always stop in on our way to VT for ski weekends! It is a very welcoming fun place — Bixby always makes us feel like we have come home again, great service from Patrick behind the bar and the chop chop salad and pizzas are sub-lime…we love it!!!

Haven’t been to this place in years despite my parents living close by. We had a weird experience years ago and finally decided to go back after many years. Last night our hostess and(male) waiter – only specifying this to distinguish for management incase they care about customer interactions – were exceptional. The pizza was pretty good although I could probably make equally as good or better pizza myself. Anyway this review is to note that as we were eating, a different waitress carrying another customer’s beer walked past us and sneezed… right into the beer. then proceeded to walk up the stairs to deliver the beer to the customer. Now I understand these bodily urges come on suddenly but she didn’t turn her head to the side or set the beer down on one of the two empty tables around her or perhaps RETURNTHECONTAMINATEDBEERANDGETANOTHERBEFOREDELIVERINGITTO A CUSTOMER! Yuck! I know another glass of draft beer is less costly to replace than a customer never returning or perhaps, say, a lawsuit. Not to mention the waitress did this in a crowded dining room for everyone to see! I work in the food industry and even if I didn’t I know this isn’t right. Sure gross things happen but at least keep it in the back. If customers see you, you probably should correct your mistake because you never know who’s watching or, as an ethical human being, who you may make sick or harm. As for management, I don’t know if you encourage your workers to come in sick(I saw this girl coughing on the floor later, not covering her mouth) or just haven’t made clear proper restaurant etiquette, but you shouldn’t allow it because YOU’REWORKINGWITHFOODOTHERPEOPLEAREEATING. Tell your sick workers to stay home. No one should be subjected to, never mind pay good money to have a stranger sneeze in their beer unbenounced to them.

Bad. Food is horrible. Service? Horrible. Employees drunk? Check. Doing drugs at work? Check. Sexual harassment? Check. With the diner being shut down, the owners here should do something about this place before catches up to them.

A few weeks ago, my family(party of 6) had an absolutely terrible experience. Despite being repeat customers, the experience was not what we expect and so bad it will make us reconsider future visits. Our waitress doubled as the hostess and couldn’t have cared less about our experience. My three year old daughter had a milk and said it tasted bad. I took a sip and it was sour as can be. When we brought this to the server’s attention she took the milk to a cook who sipped it and said it was fine.(We were seated in the large booth near the bar and could clearly overhear) We ordered a chopped salad and were asked if we would like it before our pizza and calzone to which we said yes. The salad arrived at the same time as dinner. The incorrect pizza was brought to our table and when we brought this to server’s attention she just said«oh» and walked away and grabbed our pizza. The veggie calzone we ordered without mushrooms came full of not just mushrooms but also meatballs! A vegetarian calzone with meatballs? We again brought this to the server’s attention and she just asked what we wanted to do. No apology, no offer of assistance, nothing. When the bill came, the spoiled milk we returned was still on the tab which we had to bring to server’s attention. The worst part is clearly we ran into a litany of problems. Not once did a manager offer to come over and apology and the server did nothing to make a bad experience better. Since the restaurant does not have an email address, I reached out through Facebook to discuss and did receive a response asking if they could assist further and make it right. It has been more than two weeks now without a response from the manager that was supposed to rectify the situation.

My experience isn’t as totally horrible as others seem to have had, however, I have to agree this place had gone severely down-hill. The host on Saturday night seemed drunk(7:30−8pm). We were seated within 10 – 15 minutes. Took a while for our«i’m super cool» hipster waitress to come over. She looked beyond frazzled despite the second wind of dinner diners being few. Party of 4 ordered a pasta dish, two pizzas and salads to share – had to ask her twice for plates for sharing – she forgot after going by three times – just asked another server who did it in 30 seconds. She cleared the table while two people were still eating and then snuck the check onto the table— this seems to be a trend in Northampton based on other reviews I have seen. It’s rude and makes zero sense as we were going to order dessert and coffee but once it was there, we just thought forget it. Maybe dining etiquette and manners should be part of server training? It’s a sure-fire way to lower your tip. She also calculated the bill incorrectly and didn’t understand the correction— basic math training too maybe? Sad to see this place go down the drain. Food was fine but nothing enticing enough to return anytime soon for.

My has this place gone down the drain! The service is horrible, the manager could not be more loud, rude and obnoxious — talking across the service area, screeching when people she knew came in. The entire place looks quite filthy and the cooks(not at all chefs) did not know what sanitation was about. The floors behind the bar all run down and I would not want to give any area a «white glove» test. I used to really enjoy this place. Will never be back again! The food was absolutely horrid. I feel sick just thinking about it.

We had a party of 5(2 kids a 5yr old and a baby). We were seated fairly promptly as we arrived early. The seating is mainly booths and small tables. Not sure how they would accommodate large groups. Our booth was by the front window which is a gap between the glass and the side of the booth. I saved one of my kid’s toys going down there as it would be lost forever, which is neither here nor there. Our food arrived promptly. I had the Paradiso BLT. It was good. Not deep dish but not really thin crust. I would say this is a good place for more artsy pizza than more traditional styles. I personally am not a fan of white pizza, which there are more of on their menu. The prices were fair and we received good service. Getting out was a little difficult as the other room was crowded. Everyone was nice but we had to squeeze past everyone with the baby stroller. My food was good. Good service. I look forward to returning but when I want some straight up old school thin pizza this wouldn’t be the first choice. I would like to try some of their other pizzas and entrees.

Great pizza, «pretty good» calamari. The quality can vary depending on the day, but this is a reliable place. Same owners as Spoleto.

As most other Unilocalers have said, this place is tasty, but inconsistent. I went to Pizza Paradiso last night and had the most DELICIOUS Fra Diavlo pizza. It came with 3 different types of seafood and jalapenos, along with a spice tomato sauce. While the pizza was good overall, it took ~35 mins for our pizza to come out of the oven. However, it was a Friday night, so I get that the staff was scrambling to get all their orders done. Overall, my pizza was tasty, even if the wait time was a little obnoxious.

I went to Pizza Paradiso on New Year’s Eve. The staff was super attentive, friendly, and the food was great. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a quick bite of some unique pizza flavors or the traditional fare. :)

I like Paradiso a lot, with a couple caveats. Their pizza is the best«gourmet style» in the area. Their dinners are usually pretty tasty too. That said, there are things to watch out for. First, the noise. It gets really loud everywhere. Second, the space. There are only three tables that can seat more than four people, and they are right in front of the single door(with curtains, no air lock). Third, last night we ordered takeout: two eggplant parm dinners. I was told twenty minutes and picked it up ready and packed in ten minutes. Wow, I thought. That’s really convenient! But then, Wait… Perhaps it was too quick. That’s barely enough time to heat the pasta, let alone fry the breaded chicken and broil the cheese. I know that restaurant kitchens are really efficient, and it was a quiet night, but we probably got something microwaved or waiting to be ordered. But they still get a good review because it tasted so good!

Half-price appetizers before 6 and a decent selection of draft beers was a great way to kick off an early dinner. Pizza was pretty good, nothing amazing, but very creative. Service was friendly and fast.

This place is just ok. Big menu with lots of options. Just nothing special. I had a salad with chicken and fried zucchini. Lots of the pizza options looked good but were WAY too expensive for what it was. I have not problem with paying for something special, but I was not inspired.

We ordered large cheese pizza with extra sauce and cheese. Top was burnt, there was almost no sauce on it and it was basically a cheese only pizza. We will not be back. A 5.00 frozen pizza is far better than this!

Good service and good food. I came here with a couple of friends on a Saturday night. There wasn’t a wait and we were seated right away. I had the fried calamari and tiramisu cake. Both were pretty good. Nothing really special about the food so don’t expect anything gourmet. We didn’t get any pizza so I can’t give an opinion on that. But it’s your run of the mill pizzeria with a very relaxed yet kind of chic environment. It was the service and ambiance of Paradiso that I enjoyed the most. In terms of standard pizza joints, this place was great!

Went here with some friends for an early Saturday night dinner out. We sat outside in their patio area. I ordered a glass of pinot grigio and the Chevre personal pizza that came with garlic, sun-dried tomato, and goat cheese(the perfect trifecta). When the food came, the size of the pizza was impressive for being a pizza for one. The toppings were skimpy, though. I could have done with more sun-dried tomatoes and goat cheese. Overall, the taste of the chevre pizza was good. I also had a few slices of the Margherita pizza which was tasteless. I have had Margherita pizzas at many other places, and it is rarely the pallid, unenthusiastic version that was offered here. The prices were reasonable for what I got. Our server was very attentive, patient and nice. Had to run out of the patio area because about 8 or so in the evening, either mosquitoes or fleas(some little bug) was biting all over my feet and those of my friends. They need to clean their patio and spray for insects big time.

Some of the best in NoHo. Great toppings, sauces and variety. Good salads, and starters. A salad or starter and a pie makes a filling meal! By the way… The Gorgonzola garlic bread is… Yes. Get it. Just. Get it.
