History

Established in 2004.

Route 9 Design and Build was established in Northampton, Ma in 2004. Owner John Landry started out as a carpenter and then became a licensed architect and he has always enjoyed both parts of the business. He worked in both Boston and Denver with larger architectural firms before going out on his own and creating this design/​build firm. We now focus on smaller shorter duration projects where we can service our clients needs both in the design and construction phase. With our talented in house construction team we can control the quality and schedule of our projects.

Business Owner

John Landry is a licensed Architect and contractor serving the Pioneer Valley. John has been honing his design and construction skills since 1987 when he started building and remodeling homes. In 1990 John went back to school to get his architectural degree from Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston, Ma. John has worked and practiced in Ma., CT., Co., and Ny.
