History
Established in 2000.
The business originally began as Jessica’s Team Room which was established circa 2000. The business was then sold to a new owner approximately 5 years later and has just recently been re-opened in August 2015 as The Weaversville Inn by the original owner. The owner has made and continues to make great improvements to the entire dining experience.
Meet the Manager
Robert M.
Manager
Chef Robert A. Mayer, Jr. has spent years honing his culinary skills at some of the finest restaurants across the United States as well as abroad. Robert apprenticed under Marcel Keraval and the late Jean Claude Guillossou at their nationally acclaimed restaraurants, Café de France and L’Auberge Brettone. He held the position of Executive Sous Chef of the legendary Harvest Restaurant located in Harvard Square in Cambridge, MA. From there, he went on to appreciate with Maurice Cazalis at Restaurant Henri IV in Chartres, France. Robert spent seven years at the historic Windsor House in Middleburg, VA, and brought Magnolia’s Vineyard back to being a prominent restaurant in the Lehigh Valley. He was also the Executive Chef of Great Bear Golf and Country Club (an exclusive, private, Jack Nicklaus designed golf club) in Stroudsburg, PA.
Robert’s diverse culinary interests are reflected in an intriguing mix of classic European, Mediterranean, Asian, and regional American influences.
