I’ll never shop at malls again because of this store! LOL I’m completely obsessed with TJ Maxx. I keep finding awesome deals and I double check what they’re being sold online and some are 2 – 3 times the price I’m finding them at TJ Maxx. Also just did all my Christmas shopping here and I found everything for the whole family. I do wish the Men’s section was a little larger. In the past I’ve shopped at Ross and had a pretty good experience but TJ Maxx is so much more organized and neater. I recently purchased a designer winter jacket that was 1⁄3rd the price I found online at Saks. That day I left with the new jacket, a box of 6 wine glasses, xmas decorations, new boots, 1 pair of ear rings, a dog toy, and 2 new shirts all for a price less than if I purchased the jacket from the department store. Its like«kill 8 birds with one stone»…Okay maybe a bad analogy. It’s my one stop shop & can find everything I would need for my wardrobe, kitchen, pets, and living room accessories.

I am very frequent customer at the TJMAXX stores and spend thousands throughout the year for my family and all international visitors to our home and work. Agree that the previous store was better and have not fallen completely in love with this store in my neighborhood. However, it is convenient and up until Thursday, February 20, between at around 7pm I was their customer. I went into the store to buy a comfortable pair of shoes for my brother’s funeral. These articles were already reduced three times(yellow ticket) on top of the red ticket at other stores but were not my size. At the Northborough stores these articles had only one yellow ticket on top of the red. I requested that the Asian cashier double check the price because logic told me that the price should have been lower. She immediately told me that the price was the price, I nicely insisted to double check and she came back with the same answer and adding that«different stores, different companies» which I made the observation to her that it was not correct. This cashier got to the point of telling me that if I did not agree that I could go shopping someplace else. As a customer and professional, I am called to be assertive but this woman was combative, aggressive, unpleasant, non-stop talking and ensuring that she had the first and that last word. I kept looking at the woman that appeared to be the manager or one in charge. She remained in her place, did not say a word, did not attempt to take over the transaction, de escalate the situation, did not address the cashier behavior, or try to make it more pleasant for me as the customer. My experience at TJMAXX always was that the customer was the customer and treated with respect. Being an HR professional, I cannot believe this experience. This manager and cashier need training representing your business. TJMAXX Northborough, sorry, you will not see my business or any of my visitors or friends that I can talk to and could have referred to shop in the neighborhood.

Nice TJ Maxx — spacious, well lit, well stocked. Picked over and messy, its a fresh newer TJ Maxx with its usual great finds and bargains. I wouldnt go over on a weekend though — the parking can get crazy and people too! But on a quite pre-storm afternoon before kids are out of school — worth the trip!

This is one of a nicer, well kept and larger variety of the TJ Maxx’s that I have been too. That also could be because the plaza is brand new, but it’s still nicely kept up with. The reason I am giving it two stars is the customer service in the dressing room. My boyfriend was really excited he found some shirts that he thought would look really nice on him so we headed over to the dressing rooms. Initially there wasn’t anyone around to give us a number or tell us where to go, so he just headed to the ONE dressing room that they had for the men and I followed along just waiting outside the door before we were yelled at AND scolded by this older lady from across the whole dressing room that men and woman can’t mix and we needed a number. So we obviously walked over to her and she proceeded to tell us that«I’m only one person, I can’t be doing 10 things at once» I understand that I couldn’t stand over there and I quickly walked out and waited outside for him, but I just honestly wanted to see what the shirts looked like on him. While I was outside waiting another gentlemen walked up and she was busy elsewhere in the womans dressing room once she caught his attention she yelled«what are you looking around for? do you have a number?» I just can’t believe how no one else has complained about this lady before, not even on the site but in the store! I was so insulted and I do not feel like we should have been treated that way at all, we immediately left afterwards. If you do shop here, I hope you catch it on her day off. Beware.
