I absolutely love this store! The staff is so friendly and I’m always greeted as I walk in the door. The staff also makes small talk and seems genuinely interested in helping you as you shop. The selection is amazing, and the products are 100% worth the price — great quality. I have become a sweater addict thanks to BR. The sales they have throughout the store are also a major bonus, especially for those who haven’t really given the brand a try. Honestly, I’d expect the service to be just as horrible and that their salespeople would be rude and completely uninterested in the customers as is the case with their sister store located in the same mall, but that is definitely not the case. Skip the Gap and head over to Banana Republic!

I was waiting in line with the fam at free Lego Tuesday and was so enticed by the window displays at Banana Republic, that I excused myself and had to go in. It was as if the store was calling my name. Honestly, I’ve stared at this store for years while the kids played across the way in the tree house at the mall, and not once have I had the desire to visit! I’m not a huge fan of chain stores. I guess to me it seems like they are all the same when it comes to women’s clothing. To eek a dollar out of my pocket, it’s gotta’ be at a place that’s unique… vintage…not trendy in feel. Or a bargain because I know I’m getting a killer deal. But, I had a real learning experience as I browsed, touching all the fabrics(I am a textile hound). The prices are higher than some of the other chains I shop and the sales don’t really seem like sales at all, but the quality of their clothing is fantastic. In my book this place is well worth every nickel. I couldn’t believe all the bias-cut tops and dresses I saw in season for the spring. Thick threads, darts, pleats, and drapey tops. Not something you’d see at H&M or Target. Excellent customer service. I was welcomed as I walked in the door and had a conversation with the salesperson regarding some of the new color trends and talk of kids and Legos. The store is consistent with how I remember it being years ago. Classic, well-proportioned clothing. A step cooler than Ann Taylor. A cut above the Gap. I believe the reason this place is still around as a competitor in a tough apparel market is their strong business model and better yet their quality. Though I’ll still wait for the super sales, way to go Banana. You have my four stars!

This store is full of incompetent staff who are slow as molasses! I really give it zero stars! I was standing in line of about 8 people and there were 3 cashiers. 1 was socializing with the customer: yakity yak yak and totally oblivious to the long line. The other cashier was on the phone opening up a credit card so the dang customer could get 10% off. this took forever! the other cashier was just plain slow and I was so fed up I used my cell to call the store and I spoke to the slowest cashier and said hello while I stood waved at him and said«Get some more help-HELLO!» he was totally freaked! Needless to say, i finally got up to the cashier – and still the other 2 cashiers were with the same friggen people…3 custormers later!!! Management: train your staff to be more efficient and friendly!

I’ve shopped at this location a few times and I haven’t had any issues like Syretta H. mentioned in her review. This afternoon, I was greeted immediately upon entering and I was notified about the deal they had going on(which was 40% off all sweaters). The same associate who greeted me also asked me if I needed any help finding anything. Also, I like their sale section and have been able to find some good things at a bargain. The store is clean, inviting and the sale selection is pretty organized and easy to shop. I will definitely stop by here if at the mall.

I am only giving this store one star because I have too. Every time I go here, I get mores pissed off at myself because the service never changes. They never speak to me when I walk into the store, never ask me if I need help. Then 15 minutes will go by and everyone wants to be my friend«Do you need a fitting room?» «How are you today?»…whatever, it’s too late now… I always end up leaving upset and finally have decided not to go there anymore!!!
