I’ve been going to Franz jewelers for many years — their repair services are extremely reasonable and of a high quality. It’s nice to give business to a small independant non-​chain quality operation!

If it were possible to award negative stars, this would be the place to do it.
I have been a customer of this jeweler for years. After trusting them with many repairs, I have been gravely disappointed. I had a problem with a repair they had done and went back to address it. The staff were very short with me, and blamed me for the damage to the item. Still, they assured me that they would try to fix the item and the other issues would be taken care of the next day. When I went back, I was once again greeted with an unpleasant attitude and I found that they had damaged the item even more. They refunded my money and the woman told me to «have it repaired somewhere else.»
Although they refunded my money for the repair and covered the replacement cost of a new item, their behavior was absolutely unprofessional. They fail to recognize that some items have sentimental value and cannot be replaced. I would not trust this establishment with any of my valuables. To do so is a gamble, as they would charge you double the price of the initial quote to sabotage an already broken item.
Had Franz Jewelers treated me and my jewelry with respect and had given me an honest fair quote, I would not have had to travel a greater distance to a silversmith who charged me a fraction of the cost for a repair that took a few minutes, rather than a few days of pain.

They did a wonderful job with resizing my engagement ring. Only took 2 days and its flawless! Thank you!
