Blink, and you might miss this salon tucked into a strip mall by a camera shop and an Old Navy. That would be a real shame, since you’d be missing on a great spa experience for a mani/pedi. I’ve gone twice to Le Nail Spa. The interior is open, bright, and clean. You can book and pay online(through Pretty Quick), although tips are cash only. The pricing is a little higher than you might see at similar salons, but the quality of their work and the atmosphere makes it worth a splurge. Even the regular(non-no-chip) manicure I got lasted a long time(about a week!), and the regular pedicure would easily be the deluxe/spa upgrade elsewhere. Great color selection, and up-to-date offerings, if that’s important to you.(They had the Essie winter 15 collection the week it came out.)

Had been coming here often but this is the last time. The service was less than desirable. After waiting 35 mins, I got a rush job with no attention to detail and my nails were also not properly prepped before the new polish was applied. When I mentioned this to the technician, I was totally disregarded. I won’t be back and nor will all of those I have recommended. P.S &BTW… it is actually rude to conduct endless conversations in another language, while working on your clients.

I got a mani pedi here and it felt very good. My nails look spectacular. Tiffany can do some really good designs on nails. I think I’m in love with my nails!

I was able to make an appointment for 3 people after works and the owner remembered my call and greeted me by name. My friends and I were all able to sit together and chat while getting deluxe pedicures. We were not rushed and the chairs were fantastic. Highly recommend!

My review isn’t about the service, its about the customer service. I will not be coming here anymore. I had a 10am appointment that I booked a week in advance for a fill, I show up at 10am sharp and they are closed, wth?! Very poor customer service, I mean I have an appointment, im not a ‘walk in’ and they are closed. Sadly, this is the second time I have arrived at 10am(when they open) and they are closed, so I will not be going here anymore. When I make an appointment, I expect the courtesy to actually BE open for my appointment, oh well. I found another nail place on Deerfield and Waugken and they did a great job.

I have been here several times, and this was the only time I left upset. My pedi was AMAZING. Let’s be clear about it. I upgraded to a deluxe, and it felt amazing and the lady did amazing work. My problem was the mani. I did no chip. Done it before, many times, and there even. I had a gentleman, and there were two there that day. One seemed like the owner or manager. This was NOT him. I was told my nails were hard to do and were too«moist» to keep polish on. What? They looked horrible by the cuticles and when I got home I had to use my cuticle clippers to cut away some to make it look good. I hope they slowly start to look better as they grow out from the cuticle a little. I’ve always been so happy there, I’m shocked.

A mani pedi that left me with man hands that were dryer than the gobi desert? No thanks. My nails are short and square – exactly what I did not want. They look unattractive. And I have an event coming up. Spectacular. They shooed me out at 7:29 on the dot. «Your nails are dry. You can go.» Click click, lights out. My feet are ok. I didn’t have to wait. The salon is nice looking. Staff seems friendly to regular clients. (Update…my nail Polish was peeling off the same day. I already need to get another mani.) Overall, I will not back.

A friend and I randomly decided we wanted pedicures, and went driving in search of one close by and open on a Sunday. Called here, and they said they had time for us. Kind of hard to find, it is on the north side of the strip mall, facing Lake Cook Road. Been there 3 years and I never knew they existed… Got the spa pedicure. The oils, scrubs and creams they used on my legs were great, but when I walk out of a pedicure, it’s my feet I want silky smooth, not my legs… the bottoms of my feet don’t look much different than they did when I walked in. The nail polish looks nice, but it’s only been 1 day. The people are really nice, the pedicure chairs are AWESOME, and the place is clean and quiet; a nice place for a lazy day. However, I have been to places that are better at making the bottoms of my feet as smooth as a baby… I would rather go to one of those. *Tips in cash only

In Northbrook with some time to kill and some appalling looking digits? Stop into Le Nailspa! This nail salon is so spacious, comfortable, and clean — I really wanted to nap on one of their massage chairs, but just stopped in for a manicure. Sam took care of me, was very polite and professional, and now my nails look«Smokin’ Hot»(literally, don’t you just love Essie nail polish names?). They have a flatscreen up, so I got to watch an episode of «How I Met Your Mother» while getting my cuticles made all presentable. Good times! Then, I sat at the drying station with FANS(instead of just the light) which made the process go by much faster. $ 15 for a manicure, which is more than I usually pay, but we are in Northbrook after all, and I was very happy with the job done, atmosphere, and service. They have quite a few specials listen in their window($ 35 mani-pedi, $ 38 no chip, etc). Credit cards accepted. Ample parking right in front(Le Nailspa is located on the southern end of the Trader Joe’s/Container Store/World Market strip). Super easy and comfortable experience.

There are lots of nail places and this is one of the best. Vivien does a great job, they take walk, but honor appointments as well. Open on Sundays, great prices

I originally read a review online about this place and decided to try it since it had good reviews and was located near where i live. It is located in the same plaza as Nordstroms rack/Lohemans/Marshalls on Skokie Bldv but on the end facing Lake Cook Rd. They are a new company and each person gets their own nail kit set(with nail file etc.) which I really like since I am a clean freak. The owners are nice BUT they are the only ones that do a good job. I went to one of the nail techs and was happy with her in the beginning but she got sloppy and didn’t care after a while.(i’ve been going there for about 5 months). My nails were constantly chipping, turning yellow, or some other problem. I stopped going to her and when I go there I ONLY go to one of the owners(Vivian for reg. manicure or the guy owner for a gel set). They are a little more expensive and the gel set is NOT full get– acrylic powder fill and gel on top. I do love the fact that they air brush the french white tip on which gives it a more clean professional look. Recommend this place depending on who you go to.

Le Nailspa is my newfound obsession. One of the first things I immediately make a mental note about when walking into any nail salon is the overall ambiance and how the staff greet me. Le Nailspa far surpassed both tests. When I walked in, the owner(Leon) made a concerted effort to ensure I received the best services possible and feel 150% satisfied with the final product. Not only was he a kind, genuine man, I could tell that Leon paid careful attention to every detail of his business. After one visit, I know I will not go anywhere else for my manicure or a pedicure and have been back several times since. A few of the things I loved the most about Le Nailspa – the staff. Leon, Jannie and Kristine were so sweet, thoughtful and skillful that I knew within the first 5 minutes I would come back. I am especially awed by their careful attention to detail. They ask questions about your personal desires and preferences(polish color, hand/shoulder massage pressure, pain sensitivity on your nails, you name it!) before beginning the manicure/pedicure or procedure and check in with you throughout the service to ensure the right intensity. All of the services, the practitioners were respectful of me and the other clients and provided a truly comfortable environment with genuine, sweet people. I will definitely be back.
