They are slow & not helpful. William Bloomquist former GM needs to return. The associates are lazy and don’t want find merchandise I wanted to purchase! She lied to me and didn’t even bother looking. Rude/​unprofessional! Thank god for Michigan Avn! Baiiiiiii

Very disappointed by their staffs. I brought back my scarf to see if they can do anything to help with the strings falling from edges. Their manager took a look and through back a word: it’s like you spilled on your hand bag, we can do nothing!

My husband went to this store to buy my birthday gift (A Neverfull GM bag). During the checkout process, the associate asks him to give her my email address. He declined because the gift was supposed to be a surprise, but she insisted she would not send any emails regarding the purchase. After more persuading, he gave in and gave her my email address. Sure enough, 2 days before I was supposed to receive my gift, I got an email from her thanking him for coming in to purchase the bag! We were both pretty bummed about the ruined surprise.

This store has the worst customer service. But not just the store, when you dial via phone, the customer service is terrible there as well. For a product this expensive, you would expect way better customer service. Do yourself a favor before purchasing an LV product. The quality is not as high as one might think. Also google «LV complains» and you will see how many horror stories customers have had. This is a bad company and they don’t know how to do business. You will find 100s of bad reviews online. Save your money and buy a different product.

Don’t go to this location. Had a horrible experience last night. I walked in and for five minutes I was walking around until this very elder lady approached me. I knew what I wanted so after reading all these reviews I didn’t expect any over the top treatment either. Then my husband came inside just to make sure I had my questions answered. The lady didn’t bother selling me the bag. Didn’t tell me much about why I should be getting it. I already knew info about it so I let it slide. One thing I want everyone to know is whatever bag you want, is stored in the drawers along where all the displays are!!! Yes! I’ve been to many other locations and they don’t do that or they have it all in the back. Well… she told
Me this is the one I’ll get. My husband said «do u know how many people she probably showed this bag too and how many other touched it etc etc» he was trying to say if I’m paying this much for a bag wouldn’t I want an untouched one?! He was right. Well we were done picking out and examining in five mine. She took it in the back to box it up. When it was brought out to me, the bag and box looked small. I do wish my box and bag were big not the exact size of my bag. Also when I handed her a gift card while checking out, she smirked and said ‘oh’ like why the hell are u giving me attitude. Sorry I’m not wearing a million bucks worth of clothes and shoes but I’m in here buying a bag in under five mins bc I did my research and I sold myself on a bag I wanted! Let me tell u the worst part. When I got home and wanted to open it to take pics and show my sister. I found a WHITE SUBWAY NAPKIN AND BIG BREAD CRUMBS IN MY LOUIS VUITTON BOX WHERE MY BAG WAS PLACED. If this lady took ten mins in the back to pack it up, how the hell did u not see a subway napkin in the box beside the bag. Do u know how many times I’ve called the store? Have also left a message. Beware and don’t go to this store. They don’t give two shits about you. After finding a napkin in there I also feel I have a used or returned bag, and a used and returned box. So much for dropping so much money on a lv bag… merry xmas to me. Save your money and shop other luxury brands! Like Chanel, Bvlgari, hermes etc.

LV would be ashamed of the representation at this location. Undertrained, unprofessional and devoid of any sense of customer service. I’m stunned at the lack of care. Makes my husband and I rethink ever shopping with LV at all in the future. Burberry should thank them for the extra business this season. Au revoir, LV.

I visited the store in ¹⁰⁄₂₀₁₄ to exchange a purchase I originally made in Rome. I’m apprehensive coming in for an exchange after reading horrible reviews. I have purchased at this location more than 10 years ago and finally purchased another LV in Italy, however I wasn’t very happy after thorough inspection of the bag, I just wasn’t liking the glazing insides of LV Lumineuse Empreinte PM. I was greeted as I came in politely and I voiced my issues. Nicole and other SA inspected the item states the bag is in perfect condition. Nicole and another SA helped me exchange for an empreinte speedy bandoliere which I adore. The stire is small but less busy as well as free parking. I would definitely ask for Nicole again, she’s very friendly and helpful.

I would rate no stars if it were an option. Went in with my wife to buy a purse and was not given the time of day. After quite a while of walking around in a store with only one other customer and several employees — we were only helped when my wife accidentally stepped behind a table to get a closer look at the purse she was buying. Only when we were told to step back, did anyone even speak to us. After spending over $ 1400 for a purse, I swore I would never step foot in that store again. Not the treatment you should be given, EVER… especially when spending that much on a purse.

The customer service at this location is less than stellar. I went to this store instead of the one on Michigan Ave. because of its ease to get to and not having to deal with parking. This week I went in to purchase a purse. Diane (a) was the sales associate that had «helped» me. I’m not sure if this lady was having a bad day or if she was just an awful sales person but she surely overdosed on the «snippy snappy pills» that day. I only had two questions and she seemed annoyed and condescending. She also had no idea on the answers to my questions. If I’m paying close to $ 2,100 plus tax on a purse I would expect a smile and some politeness. Horrible customer service & she was very unpleasant to deal with. I think she forgot she was in sales. I’m treated better at the local target. Needless to say, I walked out and will be making my purchase at either the Michigan Ave. or Oak Brook store. It’s sad that one sales person can ruin the whole experience.

Customer service was on point. LV is one of my most favorite brands and I do own a ton of it. I made a purchase (Totally MM) and 36 days later the thing that holds the zipper fell off. I assume I could of fixed it myself but I did not pay $ 1550 for a bag to fix myself. Since I live downtown I made two stops (LV in the Nordstrom building and LV on Michigan ave). Neither store was able to help me because they were «too busy» they said I could drop it off and pick it up on two weeks. I said no because it was a 2 min fix and I wanted it now. I went back to northbrook court where I made the initial purchase. I walked in and they were super busy all sales associates were busy and I waited until one freed up. I was in and out in 5 min my purse was fixed the lady helping me was nice and super funny. I honestly could not be any happier.

I really thought I would have had a better experience at LV. Maybe it was my expectations that were set high. I expected a different sense of luxury and what luxury brands are supposed to be about.
I had visions of champagne glasses and the exclusivity of a high-​end brand. I thought I would be entering into a store where the associates had an air of sophistication that was reflective of the product and the name it represents in society.
Instead I left feeling disappointed. My experience wasn’t bad. I was treated fairly and pleasantly. I was shown products I wanted to see. My purchase was nicely gift-​wrapped with a bow.
I was disappointed because there wasn’t any sparkle to the entire process. If I was dropping three figures for leather good– I wanted excitement. I wanted festivity. I even dressed up nicely to go into the store.
Meh. Maybe LV isn’t the luxury brand for me. Maybe it was just an off day?
Definitely not what I expected, and not in the best way.

Very disappointing customer service… I bought a monogram Palermo PM in July. I used it 5 times at most and noticed a hole in the seam at the bottom of the bag. I brought the bag in and told them about the issue. I was not offered a replacement and was instead offered a free repair, which would take 4 – 6 weeks. After about 6 weeks, I got a call that my bag was in. I picked up the bag, which was in a dust bag, and put it in my closet. When I took it out last night to use it, I noticed that the cross body strap was missing. I checked the dust bag, and it wasn’t in there either. I called LV and was told that I had to bring the purse back for inspection. I did so this afternoon, and the sales associate came out of the back room with a little bag with a post-​it with my name on it. The strap had been at the store the whole time, and no one had bothered to call me about it. Had I not called, who knows how long my strap would have sat there? I was simply given several apologies and offered nothing. I would expect to receive only the best customer service when shopping at a store like Louis Vuitton. I can get better service at a lower-​end store like Coach, which makes no sense. I should have been offered a new bag in the first place and should have been compensated in some way for the store’s lack of organization and care for my things. I won’t be shopping at any more LV stores if this is the type of thing I’ll have to deal with. Northbrook’s store is definitely not somewhere I will return.

I actually did buy a purse here for my wife, err um, mistress… err girl friend, um, no no that’s not it, it was my office-​wife/​partner at my office — sorry but the other potential recipients of a $ 2,000 purse will just have to wait. Anyways, it was my partner’s birthday and I wanted to do something over the top for her present and she loves these purses, so I figured what the heck.
Well I never felt such cold snotty indifference to someone spending $ 2k since I was at a pretentious Miami night club being charged $ 300 for a bottle of vodka by a self-​absorbed, egotistic, tinny-​bopper bar-​girl whose entire life was about her next party.
I saw a little key chain dangly thing after I bought the purse and said oh that’s cute how much is it (thinking $ 10-​$ 20 bucks for a plastic dangle for a purse) the guy says four eighty. I say oh $ 4.80 that’s not bad. He looks down his nose at me without a smile and says — no sir $ 480.00 — I am like for a key chain? OMG our country is out of whack.

I purchased the Favorite PM and really admire the piece. Nicole is always so patient and helpful with me. I know what I want before I enter the store, but I always end up wanting to look at a few more pieces. Yes, the prices for the products increase every year, so buy your items AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. I absolutely love all of my purchases, and my experiences with Nicole. Sales tax is great, along with parking.

I love this store, has parking and friendly service. But only thing is there’s not many selection here to purchase. I purchased a TIVOLI GM and I love it. My sales Sonya was friendly helped me out, I would recommend her.

Why does my wife love this place so much? And why do you have to be so expensive?!
Paid $ 691 for a small wallet. OUCH

Louis Vuitton in Northbrook Court is the most convenient Louis Vuitton store to go to because there is parking at the mall. The store is smaller than the other stores but they still have just about everything you would probably would like to purchase. I have purchased all my Louis Vuitton’s at this location and they are always pleasant and very helpful. I go in once in a while to look around and they are very friendly.

The other reviewers have obviously had better luck than I did. I’ve been to this store many times only because I don’t want to drive all the way to the city and the saleswomen there are always unpleasant, slow and have theirr chins up high in the air. I have a hard time understanding why since most people entering the store plan to spend a grand… or five, leaving them with hefty comission. Why is it that when I go to burberry next door, I am waited on hand and foot while at this place I am greeted with a stone expression?

i couldn’t bare going to the Michigan Ave location because of the 20 degree weather, 5+ feet of snow oh and of course the crazy «don’t touch those gloves, their mine» shoppers that come during the weekend before Christmas.
thankfully they finally housed an LV store in the North Shore area. this location was not as crazy and allowed me shop in some peace. the only distractions were the toddlers and yorkies in LV collars running amok.
i’m spoiled by the layout of the SF Union Square store but the one here is clean with bright walls and just as bright lights. the salespeople were friendly and amazingly not pushy.
p. s. the waiting list here is surprisingly not as long as one would think!
