History

Established in 1982.

In 2001 I opened Nordonia Goodyear Tire & Service. Prior to opening Nordonia Goodyear Tire & Service I own and operated Northfield Shell Auto Care in Northfield Center for 20 Years. I opened Nordonia Goodyear Tire & Service so I could focus more on car repair and tires and to focus on our customer’s needs. We went from a small 3 bay shop to a 6 bay state of the art facility. Our shop is an AAA approved facility, a member of the Better Business Bureau and our technicians ASE certified

I have been in the Automotive Service for over 30 years. I grow up working on cars. I went automotive school while working for my dad who owned and operated a Shell Auto Care for over 30 years. Soon after graduation I took over my own Shell Auto Care in Northfield Center where I was for 20 years. To focus more on car repair I opened Nordonia Goodyear Tire & Service, where I have been for 10 years now and still focused on car repair and taking care of our customer’s needs.

Prices are normal. Got an oil change and manager came out and showed me a few items i might want to get looked at. Wipers, plugs, trasmission fluid was a bit darker and my 3rd brake light was out. I had come for the oil change so I left with only the oil change. I did replace the brake light and will work on the others before winter. Very friendly front desk staff. It’s a firestone chain.

I recently had some brake work done, and I am glad I choose this shop. The receptionist was very warm and friendly, and made sure all the details I gave were communicated to the guys working on my vehicle.
Mike was straight forward about the issues with my car and even texted me pictures to point out some of the issues. I feel that I was treated very fairly. He called me when he found out there may be problems with the repair, and then called just to update that extra work wouldn’t be necessary.
Communication throughout was great, and the price was very fair. The best part was that they had the work completed same-​day, whereas other shops said they would be held up due to the holiday. They didn’t give me the run around at any point like other shops in the area.
There are a lot of choices, but I encourage you to choose Nordonia Goodyear!

I recived a coupon by mail for the oil and filter change and told the front desk about this coupon when I scheduled the appointmnent. Arrived at the shop and as usual — completed the paper work and left the car and the keys. Then approximately 30 – 40 min later received a phone call from the manager and he told me that they cannot honor the coupon and the price that he mentioned was almost doubled comparing to the coupon. The reason was that my car needs more expensive oil. The manual for the car says that it is using a regular SAE 5-​W30 oil. They should be telling about such things ahead of time, since one of the questions during the appointment scheduling was about the make and model of the car.
