Advanced Med Trans Non Emergency Medical Transportation

I’m writing this review on behalf of my elderly, disabled mother. She suffers from severe degenerative spinal issues which leave her in constant, great pain. The act of riding in a moving vehicle to/​from doctor’s appointments is, in itself, a great source of pain. She and her caregiver used Advanced Med Trans recently to visit the doctor. The driver arrived early, and had a pleasant demeanor, but his driving skills were NOT good. Hard on the brakes, jerky ride, did not attempt to avoid rough spots, tailgated and was forced to slam on brakes, throwing patient and caregiver forward abruptly. Once they arrived at the doctor’s office, the driver was asked to wait so that pickup for the return ride would be prompt. Instead, he went elsewhere, and forced my mother to wait for more than half an hour before returning. By the time he arrived, she was in tears from the pain. It took her two days to recover from the trauma of this ride. In her words — «DO NOT HIRE»
UPDATE: Thank you for the response received 1÷20÷16. I appreciate the content and intent, and hope that you will, in fact, make the appropriate improvements. With regard to your suggestion that we utilize a gurney service, mother is in such intense pain that she cannot lie prone at all. A wheelchair is really our only option.
