Balboa Smiles

Came here once with my daughter to see Dr. Rudolph (orthodontist who works out of this office occasionally). The place was crowded with a waiting room (if you want to call it that) approximately 8 feet by 6 feet with maybe 8 chairs. All chairs were taken so I decided to wait in the parking lot while my daughter got her braces adjusted. The parking lot was also full. While sitting in my car I saw what I thought for sure was a couple drug deals. Will not be returning!

I found this place via Unilocal because of the deal they are having. Walked in for an appointment this afternoon to get a simple cavity refilled that fell off from flossing a week ago. Dr Homa was extremely helpful and sweet. I told her i just wanted the cavity refilled, but she insisted in using a special digital camera equipment at no charge to take pictures of my inner mouth (both upper and lower) and went over any visible damages and gave me her opinion. She even went more in-​depth describing and pointing out signs of clenching or grinding and what would happen to me if i kept doing it. She also pointed out that I might have a gum infection and took the extra care to take an X-​ray again at no charge. She then referred me to a specialist to take care of it. Overall, it was a great experience, and hands down the sweetest most caring dentist i have ever come across. 5 stars all the way, go visit her, you won’t be disappointed!

I went for my 1^st check ever at a dentist =O. I was not sure what to expect since it was my 1^st time ever. The Doctor and staff were really nice and patient =). I loved the experience and even got my teeth whitened the 2^nd time I came .I even recommended this place to my coworkers and now there coming here too. Over all great experience. Great customer service =).

This place is great for way too many reasons!!! So I’ll keep it simple and straight to the point…
THE STAFF:
The service that is provided by the staff is outstanding! They gave me the courtesy and respect that I have never experienced before. The staff knows you by your first name and really try to get to know you as a person and not just as a customer. This is a huge part of the entire experience since I actually feel comfortable visiting the dentist! :)
THE LOCATION:
The interior of the location is very well kept and clean. The staff also provide quality coffee, teas, and clean water… Who would of had ever imagined a Café within a dentist???

THE DENTIST:
So now the grand finale! Of course all of the other things may not matter if you’re not provided with the best hands in dentistry! Yet, Balboa Smiles was able to do all of these things and more! Dr. Shahriari is extremely knowledgeable in her field. On top of that, she is alwayss smiling and very comforting. These qualities in a dentist are extremely desirable from my experiences since I have gone through one too many painful dental procedures. Yet, throughout the entire processes with Dr. Shahriari, I have been comfortable and confident knowing that I’m in the hands of an excellent Dentist.
I would definitely recommend this place to my family and friends!!!
