Usually the service and food here is great, unfortunately that wasn’t the case tonight. A couple of friends and i were hungry and we all agreed on argentine food. We arrived and the place was packed which made sense since it was a Saturday night. We go in and ask for how long the waiting time would be, the manager/​hostess told us it was 15 to 20 minutes. We ended up waiting a good 30 minutes just to watch our table get handed over to a couple that had arrives after us. Really? The worst part was that the manager/​hostess knew exactly was she was doing. You could straight up tell there was some type of preference with them over us. I hate to say it but it felt very racist on her part.

Been coming here since 2003, and it’s still one of my favorite restaurants in the valley. It’s never lost its small restaurant vibe and feel, which I enjoy. Food is great! I always order the parrelada with beef skirt as well as the blood sausage. Plus rice and mashed potatoes for sides
Le their fresh bread and chimichuri sauce and the calamari appetizer as well. Service has always been good here. A must try for anyone who enjoys a good meaty meal :)

Love the Arrachera Steak here. Friendly Staff and the food is always good.

Time and time again, I order the Chicken Cordon Bleu. I always come in here thinking I’m going to order something different but it never happens, all I can say is order the Chicken Cordon Bleu, exceptional customer service, and reasonable prices.

I’ve been here a few times in the last year and have not been disappointed. We usually order the Buenos Aires Parillada, which comes with Asado (more like Korean BBQ), Skirt Steak, Sweet Bread (which is actually an organ or mix up of organs I believe) and Argentine Sausage. It comes with a huge side order, which we usually get the rice, and its more than enough for 2 people. We usually end up taking a ton of food home since they provide bread also at the beginning with 2 dipping sauces as well.
Meat is always grilled fresh to order and it has been consistently good on each occasion. They also offer unlimited refills on soft drinks/​iced tea and also on their coffee. Service has always been excellent and there has never been a wait outside of one occasion. I know there are other options in the valley but compared to Mercado in Van Nuys, this place has a huge parking lot (Adjacent to Bobs Big Boy), so you don’t have to drive around 10 times to find a spot.
Definitely worth a try if you’re in the area, and even worth driving up if you’re craving some Argentinean meat and dont want to go to Lala’s or some other fancy joint for it. This place is not shabby by any means and there is no grocery store like Mercado, so it definitely has a «Nice Restaurant» feel to it.

As close to Argentina as you can get!
This is the best argentine steak house i’ve been to in a while. The food is really just incredible. Everything tastes like it does back in Argentina (I’ve been, I promise). The meat is cooked to perfection and is not overly greasy/​oily. The quality is also wonderful; very lean cuts with generous portions.
Also, as a true testament to being argentine, the pasta is equally phenomenal. Don’t be afraid to get adventurous and order things that you typically wouldn’t… everything is just wonderful.
Great prices for the wine they have, as well as a low corking fee if you bring your own.

A staple in LA!

Food is always great! I’ve been coming here for 10 years and will keep coming back because of their delicious food and wonderful service! I enjoy the spinach empanadas and their Alfredo pasta with chicken.

My husband & I have dined here twice and on both occasions have left the restaurant satisfied. The food, customer service and restaurant cleanliness is great. We ordered the Merluza Picatta (pan seared white fish with a caper picatta sauce) and the Chicken Roulada (pan seared chicken wrapped in bacon, stuffed with argentine sausage, pistachios with a dijon sauce). Yummm we totally enjoyed both dishes. We will be back to dine at Buenos Aires Grill.

This place has pretty good food and even pasta.
I found the staff to be friendly and attentive.
The two (chicken/onion+cheese) empenadas I had were fine but nothing to write home about.
We went on a weekday night and were seated immediately. Closer to the end of our dining experience (8pm), the restaurant was much more busy.
I really enjoyed the garlic fries (chips)

I came with my family and the service was very slow from the moment we walk in. We had to get up and get the menus our self. We had order drinks to start, but they took to long. They don’t have the best service.

We decided to celebrate our 12 Year Anniversary here and really feel it was the perfect place. We made a reservation just in case but really did not need to as it wasn’t as busy as I thought it might be. As soon as we arrived the waitress was super nice. We told her this was our first time there and she was so helpful. I ordered a beef empanada and they gave us a second as a belated Christmas gift. They were incredible! We ordered the Parrilla Completa, rice, and Provenzal Fries. Amazing!!! The steak was perfect and I could not get enough of the rice with the chimichurri sauce. The quality of meat was very good, it was perfectly tender and seasoned, and the quantity was perfect for both my husband and I. We took our boys with us (8 & 5) and they loved their kids meals. We will definitely be going back. I recommend it to anyone that wants an amazing meal with plenty of meat.

My coworkers and I have been going to this place at least once a week for the last 3 years. Most of the staff is excellent! Rudy, Carmillo, and Eunice are incredible and provide excellent service. They are exceptionally friendly and welcoming.
I’m giving 2 stars today because of Lucho. Nice guy but he lowers the rating of this place. His attitude is horrible! Additionally, he expects you to eat whatever he serves. When he screws up your order, you’re eating it, Darlin’!
We’re taking a sweet break from this place until he can get his act together. And we’re advising our workmates to follow suit.

Food was amazing, but the service made the diference… thanks Kamilo, our waiter, great service.

Just went there for my holiday party. We had great service and delicious food. Not to mention an amazing messi malbec. The seafood platter lived up to its name although a few more shrimp would have been nice. We enjoyed the full paradilla, fries, steamed veggies, honey mustard chicken salad, mini crab empanadas & creamed spinach. Someone in our group had the lamb and a few others had the rib eye steak. Not one complaint on the quality or taste of the food. Very kind and attentive wait staff. I have passed this place many times and thought about stopping in, Im glad I have had the opportunity to do so. I will definitely come back with my family. Don’t be fooled by the outside of this restaurant, once you enter it’s very clean and spacious not to mention very nicely decorated. I give kudos to the owners and management on an overall great experience.

My experience this past visit was so much different than my visits in the past. We were quoted 30 minutes for a table so we went to walk around. When we came back 15 minutes later, we were told that we had already been called and our table was given away. They said that we would have the next table for sure, but that was given to another couple right in front of our face. When confronted about it, they said that they had made a mistake and we would be given the next table.
When we were seated, the service was really slow. When the food came out, one entrée was really hot and the other barely warm. We were starving by that time so just ate it and left. What a disappointment.

This place was really good. I love different & cultural foods.
The Beef Empanada was fresh and hot and not dry at all. My Trout was flavorful and my husbands Lamb Chops were delicious and tender. The portions were perfect. For desert we had the Torta Borracha and it was soooo good. Glad i found this little gem. I will definitely be back for the Picata.

This place is a classic.
The food is good, the service is great when receiving it, and they have a great wine selection. I never have come here and thought, Oh man, that is not good! Although when you order, read the details, as I had the Vegiteriano Sandwich of «grilled» veggies, and it ends up being a cold veggie sandwich. It was not bad at all, but I didn’t expect it. Ask for the fries to be a little well done. Chimichuri is usually oily (they can upgrade the oil, maybe olive oil?). Bread is always fresh.
If you like steak and chicken, you will love this place even more. They have a nice skirt steak, and a great butterflied chicken plate.
Don’t forget to order empanadas, and I recommend the ham and cheese. Sometimes not all the inside is melted. So you got to roll with it.
Its a place that you want to adapt to its idiosyncrasies, as you want to enjoy it.
They also have decent espresso, if you have not had one for a while, it will hit the spot.
So I surely give a A-​OK 3 stars… I would say a 3.5, but with small adjustments like better olive oil, and a little more «quality control» on the food it can be an easy 4 to 5 star in my book.
Regardless, I have been coming hear for years and will continue to do so as is. it just not a place that can afford too many mistakes.

olé! This place is takes the cake — or the cheese, whatever you want! I lived in South America for a few years and ate at several establishments that were very similar to this gem. Don’t be thrown off by the strip mall, it’s the valley! Friends brought us here for a super tasty dinner of steak and provolone (don’t skip this!) and a lovely malbec. Transported back to Argentina and I was in meat-​full bliss! Will definitely return to this tasty joint.

This place is good, the service is fine, food good, and for the most part is clean. It is kind of awkward walking in, because there is this HUGE counter in the back that makes it seem like it’s one of those counter service places where you can place your order, pay for it, and they bring it out to you. It’s not. It’s a sit down restaurant. There is a hostess in the evenings and you place your order via waiter/​tress.
The layout of the place is awkward as I said earlier, because the counter is huge, where they pick up the food in the center. On the other side is where they place extras like sugars and forks and other stuff for the services. On the opposite side of the counter is a sad excuse for a bar, lol. I think at most FOUR people can sit there, lol. It would help to rethink the whole use of the counter, maybe reorganize the place a little bit, so they can have an actual bar, LOL.
They serve some bread with your choice of a couple of sauces. One tasted like pesto and the other a combo of tomatoes and onion. Both were very good. Hubs got the chimchurri (sp?) trout with potatoes and I got the seafood linguini. Mine was VERY good.
Gave the place 3 stars because of the atmosphere/​ambiance, and the attentiveness of the servers. There’s a lot of servers standing around and I had to flag them down several times.

(+) Steak. mmmm entrana, filet, etc. Anything from the parrilla right?
(+) Lunch specials, more than just sandwiches. Never been for dinner.
(+) Empanadas are big. On my last visit, they had crab filled ones as a special with mango salsa.
(+) Soccer (futbol) always on the TVs. last I went I saw FC Barcelona with Messi matched up against Manchester City. Of course they also have a Manu Ginobli jersey framed and hung on the wall.
If you’re driving west from Nordhoff, don’t turn in to the empty parking lot for some random store… it’s a dead end and doesn’t connect to the strip mall. Just wait to get to the last driveway before Corbin to turn left into.
