Excellent service call. The office Gal was able to have a tech out to my house the next day to clean my sofa. They guys were professional and neat about their work and they explained the process and how to continue to care for my sofas and maintain them. Thanks to the techs and to Jordan in the office.

The techs were on time and very courteous. They offered me the basic deal that I was originally quoted but suggested a few options for an additional charge. There was no selling going on– just info about what was available and recommendations based on the state of my carpeting. Best of all, my carpets look like new now which is sting something because they are more than 14 years old! Highly recommended!

Your technicians are friendly and knowledgeable about the Chem-​Dry Carpet Tech process and were very willing to explain what they were doing to clean our carpets. They were very professional and worked very efficiently and put everything back in its place when they were done. I can highly recommend your company to others. The carpet stays cleaner for a longer period of time than any other service we have used.

I have used Chem-​Dry Carpet Tech for years. They do a fantastic job. The crew is always professional, well mannered, on time and detailed. My carpets look brand new no matter how many spots end up on it from my pets and kids.
I have always had the best experiences with this company.
One of the best advantages for me is the quick dry time. Oh, and I cannot forget the organic and green products. I used a steam cleaner before finding this gem and they said the product was green. I went to their van and asked to see the bottle. I googled it and there was nothing green about it but the name of the product. So when I did my research I found out that they use REAL GREEN PRODUCTS. I was glad to be done searching high and low for something safe for my kids since they have allergies and break out into rashes. I have always had great results with every single aspect from start to finish with Chem Dry Carpet Tech. My light gray carpet looks fantastic months later!

They are so unprofessional. Not only did they not bring back all of my carpets that needed cleaning OR show up for one of their scheduled drop offs, but at the end of the entire ordeal one of the employees found my number from the invoice and then tried to ask me out. I’ll go into detail below for anyone who cares to know how the company fucked up my order, however I will never use this company again. I was horrified by my experience.
I got upholstery, carpets, and furniture cleaned in my bosses building and it was incredibly expensive so I expected to have a good professional experience. The employees cleaned everything same day except for the carpets which had to be take to an offsite warehouse for cleaning and then dropped off later that week. That was totally fine with me, however, when the day came for the carpets to get dropped off they had one missing.
Now given that the invoice was around $ 2,000.00 I should have been called if there was a problem with cleaning the carpet and the company needed more time. Then we could have rescheduled a drop off instead of having me drive 45 minutes to my bosses building and be told I would have to make the same journey again later that week. However, I knew it wasn’t the employees fault so I was nice to them and rescheduled for a Saturday.
That Saturday I went to the building, waiting for the Chem Dry employees and no one came. I finally called them after waiting for one hour and spoke to an employee who knew who I was the second I told him I was waiting for a carpet to be dropped off. He then told me that the employees were not coming because they had car trouble but they could maybe be there in 1 hour. This is completely unprofessional. If they knew they were not coming I should have received a phone call that morning, I should not have had to call them myself at the end of their drop off appointment. I don’t care if my invoice had been $ 20.00 (but again it was $ 2,000.00), that is not justifiable behavior. I am paying you for a service, if we need to reschedule or there is a hick up it is your responsibility to call your client.
I requested that the charge for that particular carpet be taken off the invoice because this entire situation was completely unprofessional and the person on the phone said he had to ‘speak to his manager’. In the interim we agreed on a different day for the carpet to be dropped off.
When the carpet was dropped off I asked the employee about the discount and he said he knew nothing about that but offered a small bottle of cleaning solution for my trouble.
After that I was extremely disgruntled, and planned to phone the company again however, that employee then took it upon himself to find my personal phone number off the invoice and flirtatiously text me. I tried to ask the employee who texted me which man he was (because there were two that helped me) but never found out and ended up blocking his number because the entire interaction was completely inappropriate and unwarranted.
Just because a woman is nice or professional is not a fucking invitation. Ever.
I’ve decided to write this review and contact the Better Business Bureau as opposed to having to deal with these people again. I do not recommend using their company for any cleaning no matter how small.

The pros of this company: they were easy to
Work with on the phone; came out quickly and worked with my schedule; good price; nice work
The cons: I chose them because they said they could stretch my carpet and then clean it, but when they got here, they said the guy that does carpet stretching could not come. I called the main office but they were unable to help me. So now I have clean carpet that still needs to be stretched. And from what I’ve learned, carpet should always be stretched before cleaning.
So I have to now look for another company
To stretch my carpet. For not holding to their word and for not helping to fix this problem, I won’t use them again and will not recommend them.

Don’t use the Canoga Park franchise (877−611−3922 & 818−857−5154). Jordan who answered the phone quoted me a price but when the techs showed up, the price was substantially inflated. I was told by the techs (who were very nice) that there is a minimum price per trip. When I called and inquired with Jordan that the price quoted on the phone was different than what the techs quoted me, she instantly became rude and basically dismissed me indicating there were taxes and other (trip) fees. I indicated I had no problem paying the tax but feel I was mislead on the phone and that I would not have scheduled their services based on the new rate. Her response was, «so for a few more dollars, you’re going to cancel the service?» My response was that it was more than a few dollars and reiterated have no issue with paying the tax. Her response was, «thanks, have a good day» and hung up on me.
My advise on Chem-​dry — pass as you have other options with companies that treat you fair and with respect.

These guys are super rude and have major attitudes. When they came (crew # 20, Joel and Angel are there names) they didn’t even introduce themselves. We live in a very small two bedroom apt and when they walked in they looked disappointed and like they didn’t want to help us. We asked them if we could help in anyway and one of them answered with an attitude saying «well what do you want us to do?» I wanted to know if they wanted us to move out Christmas tree into the kitchen. They told us to do the living room and kitchen it was going to be 107 bucks. Mind you, our apt is tiny and we didn’t want any of the bedrooms cleaned. Only our small living room and super small kitchen lol. When they started we went into our bedroom and we could hear them laughing and saying «hell no».These employees were so unprofessional and could careless about their jobs at Chem dry. They are overpriced and so rude! We will never use them again! The carpet looked better but not great. What a rip off!

This is worse than any of the ChemDry companies I’ve used before. Disappointed in carpet results and especially the unprofessional attitude of the techs. For example, they didn’t bother re-​plug the items they unplugged for their equipment — not even the one that was all the way behind my refrigerator! I had to get someone to come over afterward to move the refrigerator and plug everything back in again for me. This is terrible service and I won’t use them again.

Watch out for the bait and switch scam. I contacted chem-​dry through a coupon. They called back and set up an appointment with me. When the techs arrived they quoted me a price that was twice the price of the coupon. We called the main office back an the same woman who scheduled the appointment now told me that my number was forwarded to her from another chem-​dry and that this chem-​dry doesn’t honor the coupon price. She did not disclose this before when she made the appt to send the techs out, and now only offered a 10% discount (so actually a 40% increase from the coupon that got me to call in). I didn’t get the rugs cleaned because I don’t do business with this type of company. The techs said this happens a lot.
Clearly tried to take advantage of a customer.

They were able to come out the same day and did a great job with the carpet, for that you get two stars. It’s for what came next that stopped you from getting five. I received a flyer in the mail saying it would be $ 89 to clean my condo. I wasn’t able to be at the house and left my sister to meet with them. As soon as they arrived, they told her she needed advanced cleaning for extra dirty floors and that it would be $ 50 extra. She agreed and they did the work. It wasn’t until I got the call for the bill that I realized I was being charged an extra $ 50. The part that made me cringe was that the carpet had just been cleaned four months ago, so it wasn’t really dirty. I just needed it cleaned before a guest arrived this weekend. My sister just wanted the job to get done and the carpet to be clean. In the end, I said I wasn’t comfortable paying for a service that wasn’t needed. They discounted the price $ 20 and I paid it just because I had to get back to work. Yay, you took advantage of another customer. I hope your desire for a worthless $ 30 upsell was worth the price of this Unilocal review and a customer that will never come back.

No reason to go anywhere else. We have used the services at this location many times. They are ALWAYS professional, always efficient, always thorough. With kids running through the house and soiling everything they touch, we thought we might have to replace carpets and furniture more often. But chem-​dry does such a terrific job our carpets and furniture has lasted years more than we ever thought. And each time they come we are amazed at the difference.
We didn’t know that they cleaned tile as well. Even though we waited too long to clean the tile, they did a phenomenal job turning our stained Mexican tile into like new condition. A family business that cares not only about their customers, but about the quality of their product as well.

Hey guys watch out for chem-​dry they cleaned my carpets and stole my jewelry that was at 10am in my bedroom and by 1140am it was gone. I would recommend using a better service. This one can cost u thousands of dollars, it did me

Let me just say this for starters, I had the kind of carpet that made you uncomfortable simply by looking at it. For the longest time, I always thought my carpet was light brown, but after rearranging my furniture the other day, I found out I was disgustingly wrong. If you want ur carpet to turn from beige to brown, dont vacuum it for a year.
I looked at the main stream companies like Stanley Steamers and American Carpet Cleaning, but their negative reviews and high prices drove me away. Plus when I called them, they said couldn’t even come for two weeks! My friend referred me to Chem Dry and I have to say the first thing that impressed me was how fast they could get me an appointment. The next day I had two techs come to my place and they were in and out within the hour. Not only were they really quick but the floor magically changed color. I can’t say how impressed I am with Chem Dry. If quality and customer service are important to you, these guys are the ones to go to.

I won’t take back my previous review, because it reports what happened that day.
In the other hand, I got a call from the manager. First of all I hate when managers try to explain that it was MY mistake misunderstanding something. Not this one — he was very open mind and sharing the same concerns about customer service. We had a long conversation which I really appreciated.
He offered a complimentary service — which I got within the promised time.
And a good review is not because of the freebie — it is because that is what customer service is all about. Problems — everybody have their own bad days. The willing to solve them is what distinguish a good from a bad professional.
For me, now it’s just about to wait next time to see how much will be the quote to know if I can afford it or not, because even on the bad day their service was good.

After a scheduling hiccup, I was given a call by the manager the following day who went above and beyond to get my service completed in a reasonable time fame.
The technicians were great and did an amazing job, I had quite a few stains from my dog and can say my carpet now looks close to brand new after they finished.
I’m Very impressed with the customer service and handling of a situation that could have cost them my businesses.

After one major accident and several smaller ones, the bedroom carpet was just unbearable so I gave these guys a call — they were priced pretty comparable to other companies that specialized in pet urine removal so since they quoted me first and could fit me in soonest, I went with them.
The techs, Carlos and Marwan were professional and very friendly and did a perfect job. The carpets looked and smelled practically new by the time they were done. Not dry yet and even though they said they’d be dry by now, I know that in MY house, or at least that particular room, you gotta tag on an additional half day — maybe more since it is a little more humid right now.
If we need to do this again, and I am sure we will as we will always have dogs, I would not hesitate to call on Chem-​Dry– Carlos and Marwan specifically– to make the service call.
All in all I am thrilled to have my house smelling normal again.

My review has more to do with the company that the techs who cleaned my carpets. I had the service in Santa Monica, but got the follow up email from this Northridge location, so I’m assuming they are the corporate company.
My biggest pet peeve is when I’m quoted a price, and once the service is about to take place, they tell me of additional costs. When I phoned in, I spoke extensively with the representative and she assured me there will be NO additional charges and that the price quote of $ 89 included up to 450 SF and all the pre-​treatments, spot treatments, vacuum, cleaning, etc. I specifically asked her if I would likely end up paying more than the $ 89 quoted. She informed me that this cleaning is plenty sufficient for dirt and heavy traffic stains and I would not need to pay any additional charges.
She said that the only time there may be other charges would be if there are grease stains or pet stains. Even heavy traffic soil would be included in the price. I let her know my spot are only due to heavy traffic and nothing more. Of course when the techs showed up, they said the regular cleaning will not be sufficient and I should pay an additional $ 40 for the stains. I was so upset. I even told them of my conversation on the phone and that somehow I just knew this would happen.
It’s a shame, because the two guys were nice and did a good job, and that $ 40 would’ve gone to them as a tip had I not spent it on the «extra» cleaning. I was so disappointed that yet again, I was hit with a bait and switch like every other single carpet cleaning company with whom I’ve dealt!
