Description

Specialties

Chi’s Chinese Cuisine just expanded and renovated. We look absolutely amazing. Our food is special in Northridge. We use amazingly fresh ingredients, as little oil as possible, and service with a smile that cannot be beat. We also offer deliveries and carry-out. Start out with an Iron Goddess Hot Tea or perhaps some Jasmine. Try our Steamed Filet of Sole or one of our many Dim Sum items that you can order all day. You cannot beat our Beef Chow Fun noodles. Come on in and give us a taste.

History

Established in 1996.

Well, this is the 19th year that we have been in business. Chi has been in the restaurant business for many years prior to opening Chi’s Chinese Cuisine. She started a restaurant with her brother in Burbank and later tried a small take-out restaurant here in the valley. But Chi’s dream was to open a full service restaurant on her own. A couple of years after the Northridge earthquake an opportunity came. She started Chi’s Chinese Cuisine in 1996. It was a small 40 seat restaurant. Over a course of 3 remodels we arrive at what is Chi’s now. Come on in and take a look at what we have become.

Meet the Manager

Marco P.

Manager

Marco is Chi’s son. Marco helps run the restaurant side by side with his mother. This business of 19years is a family-run restaurant. It’s not quite «Mom and Pops», it’s more «Mom and Son». Marco has been at the location for a mere 4yrs out of the 19yrs opened. He also has extensive restaurant experience, managing large corporate restaurants in Orange County. He’s motivated to help the restaurant move forward, all the while, filling his guests’ stomachs with great food and having them leave with a smile.
