BEWARE. The first time I used this company, I thought he was wonderful. I had occasion to require his services a second time on the same air conditioning unit. This time, he asked questions and we discovered my unit was under warranty. I should not have paid him anything on the first invoice. It was in the middle of a heat wave and he told me it was my blower motor. The first time it was the capaciter and the blower motor. I don’t know if it was the same blower motor, but that was in June of this year, and I will find this out. He called and told me in order for the people who installed my air conditioner to fix it under the warranty, it would be an additional 3 days and as we were without air and it was over 100, he thought I would be okay with a charge of $ 80 and he could do it the next day. I totally agreed. He put in the part and a week later I received a bill for $ 419. He charged me $ 74 to come out and make the diagnostic, which he website says is free; he charged me $ 190 for replace direct driver blower motor under warranty and he charged me $ 155 for warranty paperwork and handling fees. Obviously, I refused to pay the bill. He threatened to come out and remove the part and I told him I didn’t think that was a good idea. This work was done on 8÷18÷14. Yesterday, 9÷29÷14, I called to get the warranty paperwork and he told me there was none. If there was none, what was he attempting to charge me $ 155 for. Once I find out if there are two different blower motors, should it turn out there is only one, I will be contacting the BBB and the State Contractor’s License Board and filing a complaint.
