Though I would like to jump on the Jim band wagon I can not. After using Jim for over a decade on my wife’s, son’s and my Honda, I always trusted Jim when he gave me a price for my work. I just said «do it», that is until this last visit. Jim told me I needed a power steering pump for my wife’s car. I knew it did, I asked how much and he said $ 680.00. I thought I misheard so I asked again and he said $ 680.00. Seemed high to me so I said I’ll call you right back. I called Keyes Honda and asked their price they said $ 650.00. I thought Jim was supposed to be at least 25 percent cheaper for lower overhead alone. Anyway I called Jim back and asked why so expensive? He said he didn’t know.
I wound up finding another independent in the valley to do the job for $ 289.00. Total. Be warned.

My dad has been going to Jim for over 20 years, and once I got my Honda 7 years ago I’ve been going to Jim. He is a great mechanic, open, and honest. His prices are reasonable, and he will take the time to explain what is going on with your car if you ask. I know plenty of people who are loyal to this shop and I totally recommend him for all Honda and Acura owners!

Jim is the best Honda mechanic around. It was way back in the day when I saw a little ad in the LA Weekly for H&H Auto. Through the years, decades, and centuries (if you count the transition through the millenium ;-) I’ve taken all my Hondas to be serviced this shop. My first one: a Honda Civic Accord. Then my second: a plain ol’ Accord. Then I got stupid and thought a VW bus would be cool so I didn’t see Jim for awhile. Then, after waking up from a bad dream, I sold the money pit and got a Honda Civic just because I wanted him to be my one and only mechanic. Impeccable service, he uses genuine Honda parts. I’m here to say: you’ve tried the rest? Now try the best! Now git on down to H&H Auto.

We have been bringing our Hondas to H & H for over 25 years. We would have brought more cars over but Jim keeps our cars running so good that we replace them only every 10 or 12 years. H & H is over 50 miles away, but it is worth the drive. We trust Jim and would not go anywhere else.

We are a Honda family. Over the years we have had at least seven different Honda cars. Right now of the four parked in my driveway, three are Hondas.
Jim over at H & H has been our car doctor on many occasions. He has fair prices and never does work on the car that is unnecessary. I can not recommend anyone higher.
