History

Established in 1998.

Manila Forwarder started in July 16, 1998 as a single proprietorship home-​based balikbayan box company at 4323 Eagle Rock Blvd, Unit 313, Los Angeles, CA 90 041.

Starting as a one-​man operation, it gradually transformed as a Limited Liability Corporation in January 14, 2000 with it’s present location at 4249 Eagle Rock Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90 065 with a manpower strength of over twenty full time personnel and over fifty nationwide affiliates all over USA and close to one hundred fulltime personnel in it’s Philippines office, Manila Forwarder, Phil Inc and about fifty agents all over the Philippines.

This January 1, 2010. Manila Forwarders, LLC is now Manila Forwarder USA Corporation.

Manila Forwarder also maintains worldwide affiliates and agents and continually seeking mutual cooperation. Manila Forwarder’s new brand– Ship, Travel, & Remit is now open for global franchising.

Manila Forwarder is licensed by the US Federal Maritime Commission as a Non-​Vessel Operating Common Carrier

They are referred by colleague. CS on phone is good. CS who pick up is good.
Promised 6weeks maximum thru phone.
Promised just a month when it was picked up.
Then tracking info came and its 2 months ETA to the port. 7 – 10 days to me house.
Emailed Roselle and she replied like an automated machine. No feelings just the ETA.
Now my wedding stuff wont come in time for my wedding. Will update my review with the final arrival.
PS: Jan 27 picked up of my goods
Latest Update: April 2 it reached Manila port and still cant deliver.
Its April 10 and my wedding is April 12 and everything there now is useless.
Also still no word from that ROBOTIC AUTOMATED ROSELLE manager.
Wont ever use nor recommend this.

beware of manila forwarder and don’t be the next victim. my boxes was not been deliver for 8 months already and custom held those boxes because of undeclared and illegal stuff. My family in the Philippines investigate this issue until they found out so I want share this information.

An agent picked up my box March 21st. Today is August 8th and package has not arrived yet. It’s been almost five months!!! I’m never using this courier again!

terrible service. Scheduled for a pick up and no one ever showed. I called prior to end of business day, and Dalton promised to call back with confirmation for a driver to show. No one called and no one showed. It’s a shame that I can not even support this company and it gives Filipino companies a bad rap.

I’ve used Manila Forwarders for years and I’m very impressed on how they handle things from picking up boxes to my house and to deliver it to my loved ones. The staffs are very friendly and professional. Highly recommended to everyone.

I have experienced a very excellent service through this company. My family and friends who are visiting from the Philippines also uses Manila Forwarder to ship back home their shopping items including bulky equipments and stuffs they buy here in the US for their interior designing business. Lots of times they send back more than 10 jumbo boxes. They have been very happy with the service and the boxes arrives to their door intact and with the original security seal they put in when shipped. I also have recommended Manila Forwarder to friends that shipped their vehicles, house appliances, furnitures and electronics. Manila Forwarder never turned me down on my friends who end up very satisfied. Their pricing are very reasonable and competitive compared to others. I will never use other companies besides Manila Forwarder. By the way even travel tickets, hotels, rent a car are reasonable too… They give you the best deals and updated packages for traveling. Over-​all, THANK YOU Manila Forwarder you made it easier for me!!!

I have to say, I have been coming here for years and the service is always excellent! Every balikbayan boxes I’ve sent back home always gets delivered on time. The staffs here are professional and very knowledgeable. There are other cargo companies nearby but I prefer Manila Forwarder.

service is so slow you have to keep calling to follow up for them to deliver your box– this not only happened once but with all the 8 boxes that i sent! one of the boxes that were delivered was wet and there was a dent so the contents of the box was destroyed!!! i gave the LA office a call and they want me to write an email so they can start investigating? and they kinda implied that it is my fault that i sent perishable goods– every Filipino sends chocolate in their boxes! and powdered OJ is not perishable and so with nesquick. they want a picture as proof but by the time i called for them to take a picture they burned the boxes already athrew the chocolates and other contents that was destryoed. yeah like who would want to stare at food that you cant eat!!! very unacceptable. AND NO I AM NOT DUMB TO SEND PERISHABLE ITEMS IN MY BALIKBAYAN BOX!

Even postal mail is opened in Manila but for every prepaid package we sent my cousin they charged him before they would release it. If you want your things, threaten to sue. My aunt had to call for a few days to yell at a couple of people who said our box was several days late because the truck was stuck in traffic. Once we were also told that our cargo missed a ferry. When we finally received it, baby clothes + bedsheets were missing.
Shipping is calculated by perimeter instead of area so it seems cheaper to mail a TV. They have branches in Central and South Los Angeles. You can call to have a pick up anytime yet I don’t recommend it.
