This location is very horrible, came in to to do a UA for work and needless to say the nightmare began. 2 employees trying to facilitate the needs of 16 people at the time. What should’ve been a 20 min process turned into 2 hours.

Very rude. Been here 3x just because my pediatrician wanted us to go here. The first time was they did a blood draw on my baby which was ok. Then 2^nd time was to drop off a specimen and no ones Infront desk so after waiting with my baby for someone to take our specimen we had to leave. Today was the third time and had to fax and drop off specimen and they’re all snuggling at the back. To drop off a specimen here takes maybe 30mins. Unless u come in early like 7am. The lady that came out few minutes ago was very rude to everyone. I asked a question and she was brushing me off while she answered me. A lady in a wheelchair was calling her doctor if she could get something done somewhere else because they were just rude to her.

My doctor’s office told me I didn’t need paperwork because they’d already sent the info electronically to Quest, about what tests I should get. Well I get there for my appointment and (after signing in and waiting a while), I overheard the front desk girl tell another client that their computer was down and they were ONLY taking people who had their paperwork. (She hadn’t bothered to tell me when I signed in and she very brusquely said «take a seat ma’am».) Don’t let your doctor tell you don’t need paperwork. Also you pay for parking.

This is coming from someone who works in an attorney’s office. A surgeon sent the client to this facility for blood work, they were rude, left him waiting in the waiting room for 15 minutes, I know because I was on the phone with him, while he waited for someone to come out. When he finally talked to someone they were rude, and uncooperative, and they asked for billing information, when he tried to get it from our office, they dismissed him saying that there was no need for him to call our office, just to have us fax something over with the information, when I asked him to find out what was the fax number, the lady their did not want to give him the fax number.
Even the number that’s suppose to be for their location is an automated service that sends you to an 866 number. I got friendlier service from the automated service than my client received from the human person with a «beating» heart that works there. It’s a shame they don’t teach customer service or manners at the trade or occupational school were they received their «education»

Employees are courteous and professional. Schedule your appointments. DO NOT SCHEDULE DURING LUNCH HOUR. Front desk is out and other staff have to handle incoming clients. Office is clean, well lit. This is my favorite location to get lab work done.

This place doesn’t even deserve a star. I have been sitting here for 2 hours making it to 3 and no one has been in the front, they don’t even have the courtesy to say «we will be with you soon» nothing. They just yell from the back of the room and say sign up and have a seat. No one is at front and one person in the back. They call one person up every 1 and a half hours and the rest of people are so frustrated that will go to the back and check and see if there is any staff. This is a HIPPA violation. Patients shouldn’t have the freedom to go back and forth in a location where there is other patient’s information. It is easy to steal information if someone wanted to. I feel bad for the staff because it is not their fault that management has yet to hire enough staff… and all that corporate has to say about it is, oh its because it’s a holiday.
It doesn’t matter, more reason to have more people knowing that it is a holiday!

This place is ridiculous very unprofessional been waiting here for like 20 minutes still not one person has come to the front desk, very poor service never will i ever come here

The one star I rated says it all. I’ve used quest for years and it is always behind schedule, indifferent staff, etc. I’m going to look for a small local lab in the future and take my business elsewhere.

Mixed up my drug test… Tried to send me for another test in Lake Elsinore for another company I have never heard of… How did I know my test was wrong? None of my medications popped up on the test, but other things did. Tried to fight it, but I was «wrong» and I would have had to pay over $ 300 to have the same TAINTED sample sent to a different lab. Not cool…

Don’t bother coming without app. Nobody is sitting in the front desk even people with app have to wait past there app time

Remember the retards in high school? The ones who now work as construction workers, or for the DMV or TSA? They work here too!!1
I made an appt. for a drug test on Quest Diagnostics website. I arrived at 3:15 for my appt. and they said «Drug tests are only from 10a to 3p.» I said I have an appt. with a confirmation. They said, the website doesn’t tell you that the drug tests are only from 10a to 3p. This ignores the fact that they let the person before me go for his drug test at 3:12p because he had previously forgot his ID (BTW, if you forgot your ID, something you should practically always have, would a company really want to hire you?).
I then asked if I could make an appt. They said that’s a good idea but we don’t make appt.‘s here, call this number. Unhelpful jerks!
Another tip: park at parking lot at the corner of Roscoe and Etiwanda, not at the Northridge hospital (the website instructions are somewhat misleading about parking).

This is a crazy busy place that has some great staff and some how manage to keep their sanity and work professionally!
Patients aka people need to have a lil more patience and everything will be alright

Reading some of these posts. I kept saying to myself… is this the right place? I went in as a walk in today, for my son. The Front dest receptionist was extremely nice. Even walked my car keys and sun glasses back to me because I forgot them at the front desk after signing in and on top of being very thoughtful, she made a joke which made me laugh out loud. Forgetting where I was (medical office)
The back office was very warming and helpful, they made it easier to relax. Everyone was professional, and also so very nice. I would go back! The sweetest group of people.

I had to take a drug screen test for nursing school. Their hours for drug screening are separate from their usual business hours. 10:00 am — 3:00 pm. I did not know this. On Monday, I left work early and I checked in at 3:06 pm. Once they realized I needed a drug screening, they told me it was too late, and that I should go online and make an appointment. OK, that was understandable. I accepted their business card with their website for appointments and left. I went home and made an appointment for the following day at 3:00 pm. The website does ask what type of testing you are requesting. I noticed that the website even offered me a 3:15 pm appointment. I thought it was odd, because they said their lab closes at 3. I made the appointment for 3:00 just in case the 3:15 was a glitch.
The next day, I left work early again and got to the lab. I checked in at exactly 3:03. However, no one was at the counter at all. I stood there until 3:07 before someone showed up. When they realized I was doing a drug screening, I was told it’s too late. Are you kidding me?! I checked in 3 minutes after my appointment! They tried explaining to me that it doesn’t matter — their lab is closed and their driver left. What if I had made my appointment for 3:15? What’s the point of even going online for the appointment if it’s going to give you a bad time? They claim the website doesn’t know the difference between drug screening and routine tests. Why wasn’t I informed or warned of this yesterday? And I was THREE MINUTES too late for crying out loud. I would have given then 1 star if, after much complaining, they didn’t finally let me take my test.

#151, Last review of 2014
Intially, I visited Quest Diagnostics in West Hills midweek but ended up here a few days later on the weekend; it is the only Quest Diagnostics open on Saturday in the SF Valley. I was a high risk pregnancy and needed to drop of a urine sample, per doctor.
I swung in maybe 15minutes after opening and did not expect the office to be packed with patients the way it was, I’ve never seen a medical office, and/​or lab like this.
Fortunately, I was taken in immediately because the circumstances, signed a few papers and was out of there.
I thought the receptionist and techinicians handled the herd and flow as best they could. 3-​stars is because they were definately understaffed, I heard the techs repeatedly say so. I actually felt bad for the employees, the air felt tense with the overflow patients tapping their toes. And, if I could avoid it, I will never go back.
They validate parking; there’s also street parking along Roscoe.

This place is alright, other than the receptionist, Nallely (not even sure if that’s her real name). Super rude, no customer service other than giving attitude to anyone who comes her way. I talked to two other women who were nice workers there.

This is obviously a very busy location. Be smart and make an appointment! I did, and my experience was not like some of the other reviews. In this day and time and considering it’s the only lab within miles AND right next to a hospital — just make a darn appointment.
The amount of complaining and VERY impatient people I heard in here were just so wrong and out of place. Grow up people. This is medical facility. I almost told a woman to shut up or leave if she couldn’t wait.
I was there for a 3 hour glucose test. Yes, 3 hours. The women who were on staff that day were kind, understanding, and flawless with their pricks every hour on the hour. I had to sit in the waiting room in between so saw all sorts of people and how they over react at not being served immediately. No wonder you have medical issues.
The place was as clean as it could be for the amount of traffic it had going through there. For sure they were understaffed but were doing the absolute best they could.
Parking situation was a bit confusing — if you go too early there is no one there to give you a ticket.

This is a great lab location, huge and lots of staff. They keep the flow of patients going! If you make an appointment, you dont even have time to take a seat before being called in. I didn’t get my blood drawn however, so I cant comment on the techs. After checking my insurance, they found out that I had to go to a different lab. I would def recommend this lab to others. There is a parking lot and they validate too!

Tried to make a 10:00 appointment since I’m fasting, could only get 10:15 at the smaller lab. Got there early, got my paperwork in, waited for my 10:15 til 10:30 as the lobby filled with people (I was the only one there at first). One worker there on phone while 8 people sitting in lobby. Finally at 10:30 I go up to ask & she says «oh go to the bigger lab next door there’s more workers there.» Would have been nice to know 30 minutes earlier?! The receptionist here hustled granted, but it’s now 10:50 and still waiting. Careful coming to the Northridge location with even a confirmed appointment.
