Royal Nails & Spa

Came in to get a pedicure and was optimistic because of the great reviews. I have two complaints, first, they don’t have any pricing posted and when they give you the services menu, they only show you the expensive options so you don’t have a choice but to spend extra money.
My second complaint is that they did a really bad job, it’s only been 1 day and the pedicure looks like I’ve had it for days. I will not be returning.

Love Kathy’s work! I went for my first time yesterday and got gel builder done. She recreated a look I had seen on Unilocal before and did an amazing job! Everything I wanted and more! Kathy really pays attention to detail. This place is worth every penny. It’s a bit above the average price but defenitely worth it. The quality is that much better. I rather pay 5 bucks more than have to get my nails done every week because they don’t look good or start to fall apart

Today was my first time at Royal and I loved it! Which is not normal Bcus I’m One of those annoying picky people who is ocd about everything. I got a Brazilian wax with Mai and a gel manicure with Van they both did an amazing job and paid attention to detail. I also loved how clean the place was and how they made sure to do everything in a timely manner. (I was on my lunch break) overall great experience!

The name «Royal Nails» speaks for itself. You are treated like royalty. I got a gel mani + regular spa pedi for about $ 50. My mani + pedi came out amazing. It is about 2 weeks post my visit & my gel nails are still great. There have been some times where I have gone to other places & about 1.5 weeks later, my hair would get caught in between (horribblee).
There seems to be a great variety of pedicure packages, which is awesome.

Great experience every timeI come here! I been seeing Kathy for over 2 years or more now and to be honest she is the best. I even bring my mother here. I try other places with all new hype going on but I come back to her. The small things do matter, knowing each other by first names, likes and dislikes, the attention to details and 1 on 1 service. Customers services is #1 here, but yes sometimes we need to wait but it is worth it, because you will get great service every time you come back.

Pedi spa set up was way nicer and better. The service is still the same but I think what made Pedi Spa great was that it had that private area. Now it’s just like any other nail place.

Everything was a little bit pricey for the services given. My pedicure wasn’t the best but I love the way my acrylic nails turned out! But again it was more expensive than I thought it would be.
Customer service wise, when I first walked in it was a little over whelming. I told them I had an appointment and I went to go pick my colors. I had three woman trying to speak to me at one time about color and type of polish. I have gotten my nails done a million times before but they acted like I was a clueless child. I knew what I was doing. The rest of the appointment went really well. The only concern I had was that they were a little disorganized.

It was my first time getting my nails done here. My nail tech was Kathy. I was really impressed on how well she did my nails. She was very patient and dedicated to her work on my nails! She did an amazing job on my nails! I completely love them. I got an acrylic set for $ 28. The place is very clean, with a lot of space! The other nail techs were really friendly to the other customers! Defiantly going back! Also they have a parking lot, which is a huge bonus!!!

I can’t say thank you enough to Tina my nail artist for giving me a special spa treatment on my neglected feet. I walked in with feet looking like been tending my rice farm– BAREFOOT! And drout got the best of it. — I walked out feelin like QUEEN NEFERTITI-sh!:)…not only I feel like I can go to work barefoot now and show off my newly pedicured– phalanges ! metatarsals and my phalanges very well pampered lol. — INDEED!

The staff and customer service at this sweet nail salon is ON POINT! First time visitor and Cathy, the salon Mgr/​owner treated me like she’s known me for years. Love Royal Nail salon and my nails! I had Mylan do my nails and she was sweet, took great care of me, and did an awesome Matte Coffin set. I will be back to try their pedicures! I hear they’re the best!

Honestly, this nail place is my favorite. I was on the search for a new nail salon who could do the different shapes and styles I like so I came across this place. Kathy is a sweet heart and does the best job ever. She is so funny and kind, she makes sure my nails are just how I like them and I’m happy with them! They have such a wide variety of colors as well. They do the best job ever!

PRICE:
Paid $ 28 for a full set, square shape. Only accepts cash tips.
CUSTOMER SERVICE:
When I first came in, There was only one other customer and she was being treated for a mani/​pedi. I was attended to about 10 minutes later. and the other customer had left, making me the only customer at this point. I had asked for KATHY. Kathy is the store manager and the owner. She was very sweet and made polite conversation.
BUT what made me want to leave even before kathy was finished with my nails is that her two workers that day would not, for one second, stop talking to her. She stopped doing my nails to answer phone calls, look at papers and receipts and even the lights?(cause they were fixing them) that her workers put right in front of her face. And I get it, she is the boss, but you don’t do that shit when she’s with a customer. There was even a time when they were gossiping to the point where one of them sat right next to me whispering to Kathy.
NAILS:
Even after all that, I do not doubt that Kathy knows what she doing. She took her time to make sure she understood what I wanted and that I liked it, every step of the way.
BUT I don’t usually go here, I go to Ciel which is my usual nail salon. The one reason I will not be returning is that Kathy just not gently enough on my hands. As she was filing my nails, she was also cutting skin.

LOVE THIS PLACE!!! It is almost exactly like PediSpa except with a few minor improvements. Tina did my pedicure and removed the most stubborn ingrowns. My family and I have been looking for a place to since PediSpa left and I’m glad we gave this place a shot. It feels like being home. SUPER CLEAN, VERY FRIENDLY STAFF

I have been going to Royal Nails consistently since May of 2015. I am one of those girls who asks for all of the fancy nails shapes and they are more than accommodating every time. Super friendly and reasonably priced. I am always satisfied when I leave Royal Nails. Girly recommend!

I finally found a clean, great place to get my nails done. Kathy was great she listed to my request and did exactly as I asked of her. I am a hair stylist so my hands are in my face every day. I hate when the shape is not right or the nails are not even or the paint is done sloppy. Kathy took her time to make sure the shape was perfect and the colors looked great. They are a little more expensive then I’m use to paying $ 34 for a gel fill but I will definitely be returning.

I love this salon! Today was my first time there after I found them on Unilocal.The girls took very good care of me. I got a fill by Kathy and she did an amazing job changing my shape from oval to square. Hannah also did an amazing job with a pedicure. I was very relaxed and comfortable the entire time. I’m definitely coming back!

I’m strictly a mani girl. I don’t do the gel nails or the tips. As a result, it’s really hard to find a place who gives a detailed manicure without feeling like they rush you through to get to the clients that will spend more money.
I tried this place and was pleasantly surprised. The tech was very detailed around my cuticles and did a good job with my broken and chipped nails. She filed gently and buffed with a firm but not heavy hand. After each step, she went back to make sure she had gotten all the loose and dry spaces, making sure that my hands and nails were moisturized the entire time.
I really liked the sugar scrub that left my hands silky soft. The tech took her time with polishing and drying. I didn’t feel at all like they were rushing me out to get to another client, even though they were 90% full at the time I walked in.
I would definitely return. They have such a cheerful and friendly staff and owner.

Kathy was amazing I absolutely love my nails simple and elegant she made my day with her lovely smile I want that thank her for making my hands look so pretty

I live in glendale but work in northhridge and i needed my nails done for xmas im really picky to where i go to do Honestly wowow titi is the sweetest person ever shes super patient she made sure i like them and i love my nails more than the picture i broght with me, honestly ask for titi shes the best i found my new spot for nails.

Liked this place. They really took their time and I’ll most likely be back! A little pricy though which would be my only complaint
