My wife and I go to Coffee Bean all the time. Today we stopped at the Northridge Coffee Bean for a couple drinks. The young lady behind the counter was very friendly with the customer in front out us. When my wife and I got up to the counter she turned bipolar on us… There was no greeting, or how can I help you. My wife ordered her drink and coffee cake and she then asks us in a very rude tone «is that it?» I had to then give her my order so she would know I wanted something too. Then when I gave her payment she didn’t look at us. She didn’t say thank you, happy holidays or anything…
Perception is reality & in this case the first person we came into contact with was terrible. Everyone else was fine.

Way better than Starbucks, if u think otherwise go shoot yourself. The staff here is friendly and will explain the drinks to you well. Also a good place to bring your laptop and work on school work or that novel you’ve been working on for a couple years, yet keep bragging about it even though you’ve lost direction and sight of some important plotlines.

This place is the best Coffee Bean out there. It may be busy at times but the service is always impeccable and their attention to detail is spot on. Felix and the other employees know how to make the best drinks and they even offer to recommend something new whenever you have trouble deciding what to get. I recommend getting their ice blended drinks. They taste much better than Starbucks frappes. You can’t also go wrong with their custom brewed teas.

The workers here are always so nice and willing to help. I suggest getting the Ice Blended Dark Chocolate. ITS DELICIOUS. Also, the green tea lattes here are much better than the ones I Starbucks. There’s no bitter powder taste at all, I love it!

Matcha green blended tea latte was delicious. And with whipped cream! 16 oz for about $ 4.75 I think? Delicious treat on a hot day.
Location is in the plaza with Outback Steakhouse and LA Fitness. Parking is a little tricky just bc I think it’s filled with gym goers but otherwise great.

I came here feeling upset because I was placed on a 45 minute waiting list next door. Once here the staff put a smile on my face right away and made me forget about the long line. The coffee in itself was good and the bottle of half and half was cool which is always a plus. The outdoor seating was nice and tasteful, we stayed outside and enjoyed our coffee until our table was ready. All in all this coffee shop was good and convenient.

Coffee bean is greater than Starbucks in my opinion so that’s why I hold it to higher standards.
I like how you’re in and out of this place in less than 5 minutes. The only thing I have against this location is that there isn’t a place to study or just hang out inside. It’s always full but it’s because of the small space. They do make the most out of the limited space they have. So I guess you have to get there when traffic isn’t heavy.

I LOVE coffee bean! They have the best selection of teas and yummy tea lattes. It beats Starbucks hands down, they can keep Oprah and her Chai tea… I wish they had as many locations as Starbucks. I stopped in today and ordered the Winter Dream tea latte. It was AAAAMAZING! Hint of holiday spices and Vanilla creamy deliciousness! I’m hooked and will prob buy some to bring home to brew.

I have always had a liking to Coffee Bean’s drinks as opposed to Starbucks’. I just feel like there is more flavor in the drinks and more effort put into making them as well. I can’t really speak to every drink on the menu, but the frappucinos that I have tried from Coffee Bean definitely blow Starbucks frappucinos out of the water!
This specific location is one of my favorites for the reason that its outdoor seating area is very comfortable. It’s located in a plaza with multiple restaurants adjacent to it. There is a water fountain located just outside by a few feet, which renders the seating very soothing and comfortable. Overall, I like this location perhaps the most and as said, I prefer their drinks over any other!

I do not want to live in a world without Coffee Bean.
I’m glad this is a short drive away from my house. I feel bad for those who do not live close to a Coffee Bean. We have a C. Bean at the local Ralphs in Porter Ranch, but I don’t think that it is made with the same love that is done here at the Northridge location.
I make the drive and always feel the love at this location. The employees here are super friendly and know how to make a damn good coffee.
Aliyah, the young girl there always has the most welcoming smile. She is very sweet and fixed an issue I had with my espresso there. She took it back and asked what I would like her to do with it. She was extremely detailed, patient and never once made me feel like I was annoying. I love when I see her working. She must think I’m being creepy but I can’t say this enough… I am a sucker for coffee!
