Total Wine & More

I always buy my beverages from this story I liked it it’s big and organized they have really good wines and much more.

I guess since I have bought enough booze from Total Wine and More I should stop being lazy and write a review about it. I can describe it in three words… selection…selection…selection.
Like I said I have bought a lot from there, but took a buddy of mine who is all about BevMo to try to change his mind. When you walk in the store the first thing you can see is the huge inventory they have. We started with the wines and he was looking for a Zin… so we took our time and I saw a lot of wines that I bought from Paso Robles wineries that were in stock here so that will save me gas money. There were also some wines from Washington state that I have been wanting to try… did I mention selection? I thought I did, but rows and rows of wine… can I just live here please?
Really so much that it is going to be difficult to choose, but ask for recommendations from the staff. Take your time too.
We moved on from the wines after putting several bottles in the cart and went to had other selections. I have been wanting to get some Rye, being that I usually drink Bourbon when not drinking wine and found a good priced bottle that looked really interesting of a small batch Rye. Before getting there though I saw tons of other types of spirits, you name it and they probably have it. Plus bitters and liqueurs… he was looking at some chocolate liqueur for his wife, but not my style… but again… I had no idea there were that many types and brands.
We moved onto the beers because I wanted to get some chocolate stout… bought a single bottle at Trader Joes and was hoping to find something else. I walked away with a six pack of Oatmeal Stout (had last night, little bit of an after taste) and a four pack of a double chocolate stout…(very smooth… I hope I have one so I can take a picture).
Anyway walked away for around $ 50 this time, but have a membership so they send me coupons for stuff, you should take advantage and do that and you can order from there site and send to the store at no charge. Great place to go and they have more stores in SoCal than just Northridge… just happens to be the closest to where I live.

Always a great selection of wine, beer, spirits and cigars. Found this change when I was in New Mexico and bought tons of bottles of vintage wines. Highly recommend Total Wine over Bevmo and other liquor stores.

I used to go to BevMo a lot and not saying that it’s on a great place I just like total wine because of the variety the fact that you could try all these different beverage. They have individual specialty beers so you don’t have to buy case. They also have this amazing chiller so you can chill something while you’re still browsing the store if it’s not already cold. The tastings are great and I like how they rate their products with employees so you feel like you can take the word of what they’re saying and all the recommendations I’ve had so far have been excellent. I found some great wines here and I love now that they have a rewards program so all of my buying is adding up.

Most ridiculous store police ever. Everyone in your party must show ID in order to buy liquor even if you are not the one paying. We were a group of 4, 2 had their wallets with them and the other 2 were in the car. Even though the person paying had their I’d, the employee did not sell it to us until the other 2 people got their ID. This is ridiculous and extremely inconvenient! I WILL NEVER SHOP HERE AGAIN and will make sure to tell everyone I know not to either.

Good selection of alcohol but as we walked in we said hi no response really rude workers and pretty horrible customer service all workers were huddled in the front laughing and stuff instead of seeing what customers needed help with. I definitely will never go back to this place again

Great prices, great selection. Always priced better than BevMo and the selection is just as good. I mainly shop here for whiskey and the prices are actually on par with Costco. Plenty of employees and plenty of parking.
There is also an excellent selection of craft beer, and a huge section of loose bottles for those who want some variety.
This is my go to place for beverages. I just wish they would open one in Pasadena. So long, BevMo.
tl;dr — Better prices, same selection as BevMo.

Pretty busy managers here to help. Even on a Sunday at opening. Isle 5, we don’t sell that wine, isle 3. Nothing to go the extra mile. Then not opening a cash register when I asked if the front desk was open and then opening one when now three people were in line. Should have just taken me.

This five star review is for the ease of their buy-​online-​pick-​up-​in-​store service. Truthfully, I have no idea how their in-​store stock or prices compare to other stores. I wanted a particular bottle of wine for a gift, found it online, purchased it in just a few minutes last night, and selected their pick-​up option to avoid the additional shipping charges. I went by this afternoon to pick it up and was out the door in less than five minutes.
Convenient service. Easy parking. Friendly staff. Easy five stars.

I got my favorite White Rascal here. So much to learn and to see here! I love knowing more about wine and its origins. And it’s amusing to see the vast variety of craft and international beer that are made. The best part is their prices. They’re better and cheaper than BevMo! I wish I would’ve known sooner!!!

Got a $ 10 off with a purchase of $ 40 or more. Intended to purchase 2 bottles of Hibiki & 2 bottles of Fernet. Sadly the manager didn’t honor it since I forgot to bring the coupon with me. My wife texted me a pic of the coupon to show him… still didn’t honor it. Business 101, the idea of a $ 10 discount is have the customers come in with the hopes of spending more than the minimum. Perhaps Corporate needs to send its management back to school. I gladly took my business to Bevmo, just 2 blocks away. Thanks to Mike’s price match @ Bevmo, I spent more than $ 200.

Great attentive and helpful staff! I love how the staff has «staff picks» tags on various different drinks that describe the taste and why they like it to better assist with your shopping. Total wines has a great selection at affordable prices. They also have wine tasting in the store which is extremely helpful… and fun!

I could spend hours perusing their selection.
I like how they have descriptions of their wines and their staff picks. That’s how I make my selections since I’m not a big drinker.
Great place to buy gifts for friends/​family. I bought a moscow mule gift set for a work party last yr. Just wish it came with the copper mugs! Those mugs are so expensive though. They’re like $ 10+ each.

It’s a labyrinth of bottles and delectable treats.
Definitely a step up from BevMo.
Too bad they are so far.
I ended up going here since the 5 freeway on ramp was closed.
It was just a little detour to Northridge and back.
Everything is a cheaper and I found some of the items just taste better from TW&M.
Please open up a location in the 626 area.

I go for the cigars. The place is classier than Bev-​Mo.
People are nice here too.

We came in on Halloween for a huge Styrofoam cooler for our dry ice. Since in most mainstream shops, this item is considered «seasonal», no one else had one. Total Wine & More to the rescue!
The employee that helped us knew exactly where the coolers were, they were well stocked and we got our item. I also bought some cool travel sized liquors for my adult trick or treaters. Very affordable, super friendly employees, and the cashier even had killer Day of the Dead makeup on! Very festive.
Will definitely shop here again.

They literally have everything. I was like a kid in a candy store.
The prices were cheaper than Bevmo and their prices are actually lower than Bevmo as well.
The staff was really friendly asking if I needed help and pointed me in the right direction.
Can’t go in the store unless your 21 tho

Its like walking into the Alice & Wonderland of alcohol. Things you’ve never heard of and could imagine laid on these shelves. You could spend big money sampling everything; but hey that’s what you have friend and family for (wink). Check it out and be sure to have an open mind to new things.
NOTE: They will check everyones ID’s – even if your with granny! = o

This is the place to go to for cigars and beverages. Name it and am sure they have it.

Just ask the question and they will answer it. Very knowledgeable and employees with Phd. degree in wine and booze. Region, year, where and how, all questions I guarantee you will be answered to your satisfaction and with accuracy.
CIGARS:
If you are into Cigars as I am, then you will lover this place. Reasonably priced and kept well in the nice walk-​in humidor. Not really a big selection but they have most your major popular brands.

Wow. Great concept. All your Beverage needs for every occasion needs all in 1 place, and a Cigar booth. Such a big variety of so many different bottles of wines from all over the US. Wow I really wanted to try some of the wines from Italy. Next week they have a wine tasting event I will try to attend. I was in heaven being in this store. With the Holidays coming a 1 place shop. I’m not going to wait until the last minute.
The store was very nice and maintained and most of all fully stocked. The employees where very friendly during my visit The manager even said Hi. Great Job.
Going to go back an have an stogie and a glass of Vino. I recommend this location.
