History

Established in 1983.

Valley Urgent Care has been a staple in the Northridge community for nearly 30 years, serving the entire San Fernando Valley. Our clinic is well known for excellent medical diagnostic skills and bedside manner. In addition Valley Urgent Care has an excellent team of physician assistants who provide excellent and compassionate care. Our philosophy is to treat the patient as a whole and give patients an excellent experience.

As of September 1, 2013 Valley Urgent Care is now under new & improved management to enhance your healthcare experience. We have added some great physicians to not only provide you with excellent clinical care but also incredible service.

I always come here for when I really don’t feel well. They usually take care of me. The staff is great and the wait is not super long. I came here on Monday and Dr. Andrew Lee was awesome. He made me feel really comfortable and you know that he will listen to whatever you complain about. He’s got really good advice and he is very knowledgeable. He’s not one of those «ok, here get this drink this.» He would ask you how you would feel about taking the med before he even prescribes. Thats how you know they care!
I do believe they are moving their office in Reseda.

I wasn’t feeling so well today I went Into this urgent care and I only waited 15 minutes, I got a thorough check. My visit there was very pleasant I am truly grateful I got the doctor I got, Dr. Lee, he was so patient and answered all my concerns, Dina was very nice while checking me in, Karina was a charm very courteous and Francisco was concerned about how I was feeling I felt very comfortable there. I have to say I was skeptical about going to an urgent care, it was my first time ever, but I had a great experience and I will only be coming to this urgent care in the future if needed. First impressions at this urgent care was on point, thumbs up.

For a couple days in a row i was feeling noxious and dizzy, so i finally decided to drag myself out of the house and go to an Urgent Care near me. From the second i walked into this place, i felt like i stumbled upon a gem. From the front desk staff to the Dr himself (Dr.Anvar) they made me feel comfortable and reassured me that everything will be taken care of. Within a couple short minutes i met with the Dr which is a huge plus for me since other Urgent Cares usually take at least 30 minutes to even look at you! I highly highly recommend them to everyone and anyone. Thank you!

Negative Zero for you Dr. J. Lee. I only went to this facility because my main doctor wasn’t available because It’s Christmas Eve. You would think the doctor would make you feel comfortable and help you with your needs. Not in my case it literally felt like a 5 minute appointment he’s so rude and when I made a comment he complained he had to repeat himself, «I already told you twice.» When he was checking my lungs his body was pressed against my side he SHOULD NOT be that close to me. He’s not caring at all working in the medical field you must be caring and willing to be there for your patients. The medical assistant did a better job than him I spent more time with her she was sick too and gave me tips. Doctor just wrote me a prescription and called it a day. If he was just going to give me a prescription then I could’ve just had my main physician call my pharmacy and place my prescription over the phone. I wasted my time being there & I wish I can get a refund from my copay. I’ll definitely inform Health Net. Bye

I went here on a referal. I was not feeling well and needed to see a Doctor right away. I took the suggestion; however very disappointed in how i was treated. The front desk was nice; the person that took me back was very kind. The Doctor (she) … I have never Felt More Demeaned in my whole life for being sick; being questioned on my statements and corrected and given the right act for me not feeling well. When i state i do not feel well and my head is not clear; and i get questioned and would not allow me to finish my sentence & then would Correct me & pre-​guess what i was trying to say, then badgering me that I said one thing one minute than now another … definintions thrown at me like i am a little child; Felt afraid to say how i felt. I know Doctors need to be detached but to be treated like i was is unbelievable & unacceptable. I will never return here again.

I took my girlfriend to this urgent care because she wasn’t feeling good.
The staff in the front check her in and ask to have a sit. in less than 15 minutes she was able to see and speak with the doctor.
I normally have to wait more than an hour in other places to be seen.
I will definitely will be using their services if I ever need urgent care.

I called to see how long the wait time was and the receptionist told me about 45 minutes. I thought that was pretty reasonable.
I get to the urgent care, sign in, and am told that they will look up my file since I’ve been there before. An hour passes and not one of the 6 people in the waiting room have been called back. I was not asked to show my ID or insurance card or fill out any paperwork. Next thing we (everyone in the waiting room) know, a couple pizzas get delivered and we are informed that everyone is taking a 15 minute (pizza party) break. Finally, 2 hours later I am called back. I leave after 3.5 hours of being there.
This «urgent» care has no sense of urgency or respect for their clients. It’s not only annoying but very unprofessional for a medical office.

There was a short wait (which is normal at any medical group) in the late afternoon, checked in no problem and was able to run out for a quick errand nearby.
The staff, nurses and doctor on call where all very professional and really helpful with anything i needed and had all my issues and concerns resolved.
I was duly impressed with the service here. highly recommended!

I didn’t have a great experience my first time here, but I decided to give it another shot when I looked at all of the reviews online, and I’m sure glad I did. I don’t know who helped me before, but she was kind of rude and condescending.
This time around, however, I went in and was looked at by Dr. Lee and he was wonderful! I had to get a hoop cut out of my nose (it got overgrown on one side and stuck in my nose) and he was very patient and friendly. I definitely felt that he knew what he was doing. He also had a good sense of humor, which I really appreciated! It helped lighten the mood and made me more comfortable for sure. All in all, I’m very impressed by this visit. Dr. Lee and the man that assisted him today really made a great impression. Thanks guys!

My employer sent me here for a WC claim. The staff are very friendly, courteous and helpful. It’s a walk in clinic, so first come first serve. Call ahead and ask for the approximate wait time. I saw Dr. Lee, PA he was extremely thorough in the exam. I had to wait about 10 minutes before he came into the room to see me but after seeing him, it was worth it. I would recommend this clinic.

The office is really nice… the staff was very pleasant and easy to communicate with. Overall, the staff seems to genuinely care about their job… I would definitely visit again.
I recently revisited for a B12 shot. Some of the staff members have changed, but I still found them to be equally pleasant.

I waited 15 minutes around 11:30AM (ish) until they tended to me. It was an actual Doctor with excellent bedside manners and proficiency in what he does. He explained to me that the cause for my debilitating lower-​back pain may be one of many things.
He gave me prescriptions for each possible cause (Anti-​inflammatory, Muscle Relaxants, and of course, pain killers). He explained that it could be a muscle spasm, it could also be that my spine bent on a nerve and the nerve is causing my lower back pain to go all the way down my hamstrings and calves.
I am scheduled to have a CT Scan from my PCP shortly, and this scan should show any anomalies in muscles in case it’s not a nerve or bone injury.
I guess I just lucked out with this place. I would definitely recommend it to everyone I know.
