Walnut RV Park

Makes no since to me why they only allow 10yrs old or newer rv’s. I own 140,000 dollar rv and because its more than 10yrs old I cant even rent a day in there. Losing a lot of business but I don’t seem to think they care. Good luck hope you sink

Do not mistake this park for a campground. It is very clean and very quiet, probably because the majority of people live in their trailers in the park. We wanted to go someplace with hook-​ups to test our new motorhome, and this served our purpose. It’s great if you want to park and see the sights in the Valley!

If you’re looking for a quiet park near Los Angeles this is it. Smaller, very clean, very quiet. Excellent washers and dryers. Very nice people. Added bonus is nearby shopping for everyone in the family — high end fashion to electronics, delis to BoneFish Grill. Definitely the right choice. Lots are large enough to accommodate most rigs, no back-​ins.

BEWARE OF DOROTHY. I used to live there. Its all nice. A little tight spaces though. All the staff except Dorothy was nice. Dorothy was rude, mean and judgemental. I updated my number, saw her write my new contact info down and then lied saying she never did. I would always hear my neighbors say nothing but complaints about her. If you plan on long term stay be careful because they will put a temporary rv in your spot while you’re gone. Now it makes sense why my electric bill was the same even though I wasnt there hooked up. She also will bend the rules to her favorites. Like literally she will let you get away with murder. I know of people who didnt need to do the real hard plumbing but for me I needed to do it now or get kicked off. I tried befriending her but it didn’t work and not even worth it. I know a lot of people are taking their negative experiences known to the higher authorities… whom by the looks of her being around for so long, doesn’t really care. I think its embarrassing to have someone like her represent a nice establishment. I really liked the location near work so if anybody knows if shes not around there anymore please put it on the comments. Thanks.

lorain is great, she made it very simple to go dump my rv. for 10 bucks you cant beat it. this looks like a great place to stay, and even though i spent all of ten minutes there i had some very friendly people come and say hi to me. thanks it is a great place to take a dump! lol.

We found this location via an RV travel sight. Our son lives in the area so we asked him to check out this place and another one near by as we drove up from SoCal. He strongly suggested Walnut RV Park over the other ~ the main reason being safety. The location is great ~ close to the highway, restaurants, and a host of other stores.
The park is small. Maybe 60 – 65 spaces. No pull through sites. Spaces are close, but large enough and the street between the spaces is large enough to back in. Big rigs are welcome, 50 amp service, water and sewer. The sights are gravel, but pretty level. Nice laundry facility on site and a small pool.
We are relocating to CA and needed to extend our stay. The manager was very nice. Even though we had to move 3 times during our stay we honestly did not mind because the location was great, staff and other RV’ers were very friendly and helpful.
The park does allow extended stays. The 4 star rating is simply because a lot of the long term RV’s were eye sores. A lot of junky sights which is sad because this park could really be a gem.

Don’t bother!!! Park is run down and mainly made up of residents. Slots are very small. Could not accommodate our rig after they told us they could. Got our money back. Would never recommend.

We urban boondock full time so we don’t stay there but we dump our tanks there every 8 – 9 days. I’ve met Loraine and Mark and they are both pretty nice and politely confirm with us that we have the proper sewer fittings and that we will be tidy. Costs $ 10, about the only place in the valley to do so. There is also Malibu Creek State Park. $ 12 gets you a day pass and water and sewer dump.

My husband and I stayed here for 3 months for a contract with our jobs and worked in north La. The location is great with lots of restaurants, shopping, and grocery stores nearby. We enjoyed the park, it is small but they keep it very clean and yes seem strict on things as previous reviewers have saw as negative but overall I think it was a good thing. The bathrooms were kept clean as well as the laundry facilities (is everything brand new? No but clean is always good) The free wifi was surprisingly good. We were able to park my small SUV and my husbands 2500 truck beside our site as well, we have a 37 foot 5^th wheel. So over all for the choices is the area this is the best. We didn’t have any issues with the managers, they are not overly chatty but that’s not a bad thing :) They brought around gifts out of the blue the second month for everyone (summer sausage and cheese set) and they are currently forwarding our mail manually (printing out labels with our new address and placing them on mail they receive and sending it back out) since USPS won’t forward mail from the business address to our new address. So definitely consider this park if you are interested in this area. We had a great stay and appreciate everyone at the park :)

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE!!! My husband and I travel in our 5^th wheel all over the nation for work, along with our little Corgi dog. Neither of us have ever been treated or talked to the way these people did. We were both confronted and verbally attacked by one of the managers, Dorothy, we both only know this because we had to stop her in the middle of her tirade to ask her name as she never even introduced herself! I was raised nearby this location and figured we would only be there temp it was perfect as far as locations and where my family lives… we stayed for the week we paid for and moved!!! Spots are VERY tight and you are not allowed to park in overflow parking (but there’s others that are full time that are allowed as I noticed) we had to squeeze 2 vehicles in our spot that was already lacking space to begin with. People in in the park were also very unfriendly. I would recommend sleeping in Walmart parking lot before I would tell anyone to go here.

We drove our travel trailer from Montana to LA. We had stayed at Dockweiler on the beach and at Anaheim RV Resort, both wonderful! Needed a place closer to the city to spend our last 3 nights. Our camper is older but very clean and nice. We were told we could not stay at Walnut because it was more than 10 years old. Crazy!!!

regardless of geographical location they have no regard for the condescending attitudes towards customers. Quite frankly they can exist elsewhere as I have more respect for a construction site out house then dealing with these fools as they take advantage of others in the fraud that they are located close to everything. Logically how is that even possible as there are no amusement parks in Northridge, CA or Chatsworth, CA unless they are referencing the porn capitol of the world as documented in the movie Boogie Nights;
I feel very sorry for those who wish to visit the attractions of los angeles or its surrounding areas as there is nothing worth looking at with in seven miles of this location. Furthermore this location is not close to any family amusement parks or attractions therefore being the only game in town is BS.

My family came to L. A on vacation and stayed here. The staff was extremely rude. They put us in a small space in the very back of the park. Our trailer was too long so very hard to park our truck. This park is run down. Not what we expected at all. The wi-​fi is like slower than dial up. The crime is all around you in this area. We listened to our scanner tons of shootings, gangs, rapes, robberies, domestic violence. We will not be back in this park again.
