Beach Bum Tanning Northvale

This place has a great staff but they never seem to have it together. The mystic booth room always has the spray on the floor and all over the booth. Your feet will immediately turn black once you step out of your shoes. They never have the solution in stock. When you ask a question no one ever has an answer. It’s always… we’re waiting on the owner ._.

So I have now asked for 2 weeks for a call from the manager and haven’t heard a thing. The girl actually told me it’s impossible to get a message to them because 2 people a day work and everything gets lost by the time he comes in. I also went in to tan and noticed there was no towel. When I asked for one I was told there was paper-​towel which was actually a few squares of toilet paper. I was also asked if I would like to purchase feet pads… they are the only location that charges for them in a spray tan. This whole experience to me is unbelievable. I unfortunately have no other tanning location by me. I’m pretty sure that’s the main reason this location is still in business. Very disappointing and unacceptable to treat repeat clients like we bother them. The room is also still covered in residue from the tanning solutions and starting to become caked in to every part. You can even put your bag on the stool without getting a stain.

Very clean, friendly staff and conveniently located. Yes prices are a tad high, but for cleanliness and ease, it’s worth it. I’ve never waited for a bed, maybe once. And the membership packages are good, esp. since you can tan free on Sundays w/​a lotion purchase.
